Flavour/Design: A mine cart with a long neck/body made of mine carts and wheels with wings made of boards sticking out:

These Pokémon are extremely rare, only being evolved from very well trained Shaftar or in the deepest depths of mines, not accessible to most trainers. They are dangerous and powerful, able to blast down tracks at breakneck speeds.
Potential Competitive Role: Stealth Rocker, Offensive/Defensive Pivot, Speed Control, Setup Sweeper

It has no hands and can use punch moves. Heheheh. Illuminate draws even more encounters to unsuspecting trainers being assaulted by Zubat. I think the stats are fine being high due to the ridiculous evolution method.

It is also based off a notable Nevada reptile, the Gila Monster. Since nuclear power is the inspiration for the Kaiju genra it also takes inspiration from Godzilla.

Name: Furupika (furue, Japanese word for shivering, + pika)
Typing:

Ability: Static / Snow Coat* / Snow Warning (HA)
Base Stats: 55 HP / 50 Atk / 60 Def / 90 SpA / 65 SpD / 105 Spe (425 BST)
Notable Moves: Ice Beam, Blizzard, Freeze-Dry, Thunderbolt, Discharge, Nuzzle, Volt Switch, Grass Knot, Dazzling Gleam, Chilling Water, Aurora Veil
Height + Weight: 0.3m / 2kg
Flavour/Design: Furupika is a cute rodent Pokemon often kept by young children who live in mountainous areas due to its fun and easy-going nature. They have thick, plush fur that is always a little chilly to the touch, making it a great companion to have around on hot days. Furupika like to make snowballs by freezing the water in the air, which they and their human companions enjoy throwing at each other for fun. Based on the American pika, Furupika is a small, round rodent with thick fur that is thicker around the back and sides, looking like a winter coat with a hood of fur it can pull over its head. Its belly and face areas are light yellowish while its coat is light blue. It has two cheek pouches that are light blue.
Potential Competitive Role: Fast STAB BoltBeam, Snow/Aurora Veil support, Nuzzle to spread paralysis, Volt Switch for pivoting, Ice immunity ability
Name: Snow Coat
Effect: When hit by an Ice-type move, Pokemon recovers 25% of its max hitpoints instead of taking damage.
Distribution: Ice-types or other Pokemon with ice/snow affinity, that have fur/feathers (Articuno, Delibird, Glaceon, Swinub line, Alolan Vulpix line, Stoutland, Sawsbuck, Ursaring, Wyrdeer)

Name: Gypsmite (gypsum + (stalag)mite)
Typing:

Ability: Clear Body / Infiltrator / Weak Armor (HA)
Base Stats: 30 HP / 40 Atk / 70 Def / 60 SpA / 60 SpD / 30 Spe (290 BST)
Notable Moves: Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond, Hex, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Will-O-Wisp, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Dazzling Gleam, Haze, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Psychic, Nasty Plot, Reflect, Light Screen, Rock Polish
Height + Weight: 0.2m / 6kg
Flavour/Design: Gypsmite crawl around on the walls and ceilings of caves, generally minding their own business. However, when approached by humans, they jump down and attack by stabbing with their sharp crystalline spikes before floating away through the cave walls. A person injured by Gypsmite develops a debilitating addiction to shiny things, seeking them out with no consideration for their health or safety. Affected people have been known to run through the caves looking for shiny gems or Gypsmite with their shiny eyes until they expire from dehydration and exhaustion. Gypsmite are based on gypsum crystals and stories of cursed gemstones, looking kind of like small Bergmite with a multi-pointed head and small nubs for feet. Their bodies are a translucent white, and their eyes glow white like gemstones.
Potential Competitive Role: LC Nasty Plot sweeper, offensive SR/spikes setter

Name: Geistal (geist + crystal)
Typing:

Ability: Clear Body / Cursed Body / Weak Armor (HA)
Base Stats: 50 HP / 55 Atk / 95 Def / 80 SpA / 70 SpD / 50 Spe (400 BST)
Notable Moves: Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond, Hex, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Will-O-Wisp, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Dazzling Gleam, Haze, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Psychic, Nasty Plot, Reflect, Light Screen, Rock Polish
Height + Weight: 1m / 100kg
Flavour/Design: There are stories of ghostly white children running through caves, that when followed, lead to dead ends. It is believed that some of these folktales can be attributed to Geistal, which have glowing white bodies and humanoid shapes. They use their appearance to lure unsuspecting people deep into caves, often leading them to dead ends before disappearing through the walls. The Geistal seem to do this purely for their own entertainment, though the people they mislead sometimes have trouble finding their way back out. Geistal are based on selenite crystals and stone golems, with translucent white and angular bodies with glowing white eyes. Their bodies are comprised of several crystals connected by an unseen force, that forms a roughly humanoid form with a head, two arms, and two legs.
Potential Competitive Role: NFE decent bulk with Eviolite, Nasty Plot sweeper, offensive SR/spikes setter

Name: Seletasma (selenite + phantasma, Spanish word for ghost)
Typing:

Ability: Clear Body / Levitate / Weak Armor (HA)
Base Stats: 70 HP / 65 Atk / 110 Def / 105 SpA / 80 SpD / 80 Spe (510 BST)
Notable Moves: Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond, Hex, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Will-O-Wisp, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Dazzling Gleam, Haze, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Psychic, Nasty Plot, Reflect, Light Screen, Rock Polish
Height + Weight: 1.8m / 175kg
Flavour/Design: According to local folklore, Seletasma are born when the spirits of lost miners who died in the caves possessed large crystals. They glow a faint pearly white in the dark, luring spelunkers and miners deeper into the caves from which they never return. Attempting to look into the translucent body of a Seletasma reveals a 3D image of a person's face, said to be the face of the person whose spirit became the Pokemon. Seletasma are based on the giant selenite crystals found in the Giant Crystal Cave, they have a long, translucent white crystalline body with two groups of smaller floating crystals that form human-like clawed hands. They have crooked, angular open mouths with crystal teeth, and two white, glowing pupil-less eyes.
Potential Competitive Role: Nasty Plot sweeper, offensive SR/spikes setter
Name: Tetciego (tetra + ciego, Spanish for blind)
Typing:

Ability: Hydration / Oblivious (HA)
Base Stats: 25 HP / 20 Atk / 30 Def / 20 SpA / 45 SpD / 60 Spe (200 BST)
Notable Moves: Splash, Waterfall, Surf, Ice Beam, Recover
Height + Weight: 0.3m / 4kg
Flavour/Design: Tetciego are small, blind fish Pokemon that live primarily in cave water bodies. They use their senses of touch and hearing to navigate, eating anything edible they find in the water. Their bodies are soft and not suited for fighting, but some trainers have developed an affinity for them, comparing their charm to similar Pokemon like Magikarp or Feebas. Based on the blind cave tetra, Tetciego is a plain pale gray fish with no eyes.
Potential Competitive Role: As useless as Magikarp or Feebas

Name: Reinaleta (reina + aleta, Spanish for queen and fin)
Counterpart: Viporey
Typing:

Ability: Earth Eater / Water Veil (HA)
Base Stats: 80 HP / 115 Atk / 90 Def / 55 SpA / 80 SpD / 90 Spe (510 BST)
Notable Moves: Waterfall, Liquidation, Earthquake, Headlong Rush, Ice Spinner, Crunch, Stone Edge, Iron Head, Play Rough, Outrage, Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Recover
Height + Weight: 2m / 75kg
Flavour/Design: Reinaleta evolve from female Tetciego that have lived for a long time, making them very rare to find in the wild. Their pinkish bodies and long, extravagant fins resemble an old-fashioned royal gown, and they dance and spin around gracefully as they swim. However, under the Reinaleta's beautiful exterior is a cold, brutal creature that mercilessly attacks it opponents and prey, attempting to claim entire cave systems as its own domain. Travelers and trainers exploring Desvegan caves must be wary of this, and Reinaleta are known to decorate tunnels with the remains of past victims. Reinaleta is based on the blind cave catfish, its body is a silvery pink and it has two reddish spots where its eyes would be.
Potential Competitive Role: Swords Dance sweeper, rocks setter, has reliable recovery and wide coverage

Name: Viporey (vibora + rey, Spanish for viper and king)
Counterpart: Reinaleta
Typing:

Ability: Water Absorb / Anticipation (HA)
Base Stats: 80 HP / 55 Atk / 80 Def / 115 SpA / 90 SpD / 90 Spe (510 BST)
Notable Moves: Scald, Hydro Pump, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam, Dark Pulse, Power Gem, Flash Cannon, Dazzling Gleam, Earth Power, Nasty Plot, Spikes, Recover
Height + Weight: 3.5m / 140kg
Flavour/Design: Viporey evolve from male Tetciego that live to an old age, making them quite rare in the wild. They can be found resting at the bottoms of underground lakes in deep cave systems. When they sense the noises of approaching cave spelunkers, they wait quietly and patiently, carefully planning whether to attack or stay hidden depending on the strength of the intruders. When attacking, they use their long bodies to quickly wrap their target and drag them into the water to drown them. Viporey looks like a combination between a viperfish and a California banded kingsnake, with a long, mostly black body with several glowing white bands along its length.
Potential Competitive Role: Nasty Plot sweeper, spikes setter, has reliable recovery and wide coverage

Name: Karstoni (Karst + stone + tini)
Type: Rock
Ability: Rough Skin/Solid Rock/Toxic Debris(HA)
Base stats: 70 / 40 / 60 / 70 / 50 / 75 (325)
Height + Weight: 0.5 m, 17.6 kg
Flavour/Design: Picture a reddish spiky mix between Nacli and Carbink. Bits of Karstoni were once a popular folk medicine in the East, and are used today in thermonitors.
(Evolve Karstoni by level up starting at lvl 20)

Name: Zulphuros (Sulphur + erosion)
Type: Rock/Poison
Ability: Poison Touch/Solid Rock/Merciless(HA)
Base stats: 80 / 55 / 70 / 95 / 60 / 85 (445)
Height + Weight: 1.2 m, 99.5 kg
Flavour/Design: Picture a gloomy, rocky Golett with Alolan Graveller arms and without its seal, instead a red scar oozing mercury. These golems used to drive miners mad back during the day, and are responsible for causing Sableye's regional form to develop.
(Evolve Zulphuros by level up starting at lvl 40 with another Poison-type in the party.)

Name: Cinnabaron (Cinnabar + baron)
Type: Rock/Poison
Ability: Toxic Chain/Solid Rock/Merciless (HA)
Base Stats: 85 / 75 / 80 / 115 / 75 / 90 (520)
Notable Moves: Power Gem, Fallout Burst*, Sludge Wave, Venoshock, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Make it Rain, Dark Pulse, Muddy Water, Acid Armor, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Baneful Bunker, Rock Polish, Electric Terrain, Stomping Tantrum, Rock Slide, Wild Charge, Double Iron Bash, Foul Play, Mortal Spin, Poison Jab, Gunk Shot
Height + Weight: 2.2 m, 180.0 kg
Flavour/Design: Based on Cinnabar, which is still being deposited today from the hot waters of the Sulphur Bank Mine, California and Steamboat Springs, Nevada. Cinnabar produces mercury, hence the Poison-type, and Cinnabaron is one who's built up enough resources and madness to enjoy its retirement. Picture an extremely posh mix between Melmetal (minus the hex nuts) and Garganacl with a red chain necklace.
* Fallout Burst: Rock-type Hyper Voice that has a 20% chance to poison. This is a shout out to two things: Fallout (...thank RoDG for that), which explains the poisoning; and the American rock band Fall Out Boy, who while based in Chicago, initially met together thanks to a discussion of Californian band Neurosis, which also ties up the Rock-type and sound-based properties.
Potential Competitive Role: While it hits softer and takes slightly less hits than Glimmora, it's slightly faster and can either leave most of the opposing team badly poisoned thanks to Toxic Chain (if you're reading this as of writing, it's the same Ability as that dog, monkey and pheasant who bully an oni); alternatively, it can abuse Merciless to crit poisoned foes.
Name: Teddiursa-Desvega
Typing: Ghost
Ability: Honey Gather/Quick Feet/Perish Body(HA)
Base Stats: 40/60/50/70/50/60 (330)
Notable Moves: Teddiursa's movepool - Ground, Fighting, Dark, Grass & Ice moves + Shadow Sneak, Bitter Malice, Smack Down, Spikes, Mirror Coat, Smart Strike, Metal Burst
Height + Weight: 0.6 m + 8.8 kg
Flavour/Design: Based on the Californian Grizzly Bear, which are extinct. Picture Teddiursa with a pale grey body and the moon rotated into a frown. These cubs were brought back like Hisuian Zorua, but Desvegan people have managed to win back their affection with the one thing they can't resist - Honey!
(Evolve Teddiursa-Desvega by lvl up starting at lvl 30 at night.)

Name: Ursaring-Desvega
Typing: Ghost
Ability: Gritty*/Quick Feet/Perish Body
Base Stats: 50 / 90 / 75 / 120 / 75 / 90 (500)
Height + Weight: 1.8 m, 125.8kg
Flavour/Design: Gastly Ursaring with a wisp for a tail, bony claws and a crying skull pattern on its stomach.
Potential Competitive Role: ...Well, have fun with Special Guts. Or you can hold an Eviolite and boost with Quick Feet, considering its Sp. Atk is still very good.
(Lvl up Ursaring-Desvega in a sandstorm whilst having high friendship.)

Name: Cursabling (Ursaring + Curse + Bling)
Typing: Ghost/Rock
Ability: Gritty*/Good As Gold/Perish Body
Base Stats: 80 / 100 / 80 / 130 / 80 / 80 (550)
Notable Moves: Smack Down, Stone Axe, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw, Drain Fang(!), Phantom Force, Play Rough, Smart Strike, Metal Burst, Bitter Malice (Gen IX version), Shadow Ball, Power Gem, Moonblast, Flash Cannon, Mirror Coat, Moonlight, Yawn, Calm Mind, Sandstorm.
Height + Weight: 2.1 m, 188.7 kg
Flavour/Design: Ghostly Ursaluna with bony pickaxe-like claws, a flaming wisp for a tail, and a thinner, crusty pelt with semi-exposed gold ore visible. Their earth-bending skills may not be as good as their living counterparts – hence their new Rock-type – but they can be a problem for miners, given that they hibernate in underground spaces, such as mines. Cursabling, as a golden bear, is also a shoutout to the California Golden Bears athletic team.
*Gritty: When the Pokémon is inflicted with a non-volatile status condition, boosts its Sp. Atk by 50%. (Can be distributed to other Guts/Quick Feet Pokémon, or Sp. Atk focused mons)
Potential Competitive Role: I'm stating for the record, this rocky c0caine bear is borderline Uber tier. Even without overdosing on Gritty, it has the same Sp. Atk as Gengar and Glimmora, around the same bulk as Carkol, raw Attack like Regirock, and the Speed of Chandelure, all together which can be rightfully terrifying. Blocking with Good as Gold and deterring with Perish Body is also an option, though not the best ones I think...
Name: Onix-Desvega

Height + Weight: 10.5 m + 340 kg
Flavor/Design: Based on Benitoite, the state gemstone of California. Picture Mega Steelix without the orbiting debris and made of icy crystal with Alolan Golem facial hair.
*Frost Cloak: If hail/snow begins or if the Pokémon is sent out during hail/snow, sets up Aurora Veil on the allied field. (Could be distributed to other hail/snow focused mons later)
Potential Competitive Role: Aurora Veil support.
Name: Chikapi (Chika/Japanese for underground + Pika)
Typing: Electric/Ground
Ability: Fluffy / Static / Sap Sipper
Base Stats: 60 / 85 / 60 / 55 / 60 / 105 (425)
Notable Moves: Extreme Speed, Super Fang, Dig, Earthquake, Terra Charge(!), Play Rough, Trailblaze, Nuzzle, Sparking Leap($), Wild Charge, U-Turn, Shore Up, Spikes, Wide Guard, Electric Terrain, Thunder Wave, Encore, Scorching Sands, Earth Power, Parabolic Charge, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Draining Kiss.
Height + Weight: 0.6 m, 1.8 kg
Flavour/Design: Based on the American pika with elements of dust bunnies, Chikapi is a small lean amber colored rodent who, similar to Buneary, keeps one ear rolled up and has a fluffy coat of dust wrapped below the waist that helps it keep warm during the cold. Ironically, it's this very coat that led to it becoming Raichat's preferred prey.

Name: Bobbkit
Evolutions: Slobkatt, Allynx
Type: Normal
Base Stats: 40 HP / 60 Atk / 30 Def / 50 Sp.Atk / 35 Sp.Def / 72 Speed (BST = 287)
Abilities: Own Tempo / Run Away // Padded Paw
Some Moves: Double-Edge, Facade, Thrash, Flail, Slash, Quick Attack, Hyper Voice, Uproar, Snore, Encore, Copycat, Yawn, Sleep Talk, Trailblaze, Stomping Tantrum, Dig, Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball, Mirror Coat, Agility, Rest, Tole Play, Snarl, Hone Claws, Nasty Plot, Taunt, Play Rough, Charm, Moonlight
Design: Bobbkit is a baby bobcat-like Pokemon that nests in caves during the daytime and are active at night. Its fur insulates it from the cold at night and from the heat in the day. It is very elusive and will often choose to flee when it encounters humans.
Competitive Use: Potentially a Little Cup sweeper
The user is unaffected by the effects of field and weather conditions. It does not recover HP in Grassy Terrain, can be hit by and use priority moves in Psychic Terrain, can use jumping moves under gravity and does not receive the accuracy bonus, and is not affected by entry hazards.

Name: Slobkatt
Counterpart: Allynx
Type: Normal/Ground
Base Stats: 95 HP / 108 Atk / 90 Def / 75 Sp.Atk / 70 Sp.Def / 72 Speed (BST = 515)
Abilities: Mold Breaker / Sheer Force // Padded Paw
Some Moves: Bobbkit's + Giga Impact, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Hyper Beam, Boomburst, Crush Claw, Block, Belly Drum, Noble Roar, Roar, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Earth Power, High Horsepower, Grass Knot, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Fire Punch, Incinerate, Superpower, Hammer Arm, Force Palm, Body Press, Focus Blast, Final Gambit, Bulk Up, Thunderpunch, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stealth Rock, Iron Tail, Gunk Shot, Icy Wind, Outrage, Dark Pulse, Crunch
Design: Slobkatt is a large and lumbering (think something like a gorilla's walking posture) bobcat-like Pokemon that sleeps in caves. It is very agressive when disturbed or when its nest of Bobbkit is under attack. Its fore- and hind limbs are quite developed, it constructs and conceals its nests with large boulders. While Bobbkit's fur is generally clean and smooth, Slobkatt's is coarse and often covered in dust as a result of its lifestyle.
Competitive Use: A generally strong physical threat with 3 decent ability choices. In addition, it can also play as a mixed attacker with its Sheer Force ability or even be a potent set-up sweeper with Bulk Up, Belly Drum or Hone Claws. Its movepool is also quite deep as a normal-type.

Name: Allynx
Counterpart: Slobkatt
Type: Normal/Steel
Base Stats: 90 HP / 76 Atk / 101 Def / 76 Sp.Atk / 80 Sp.Def / 92 Speed (BST = 515)
Abilities: Filter // Padded Paw
Some Moves: Bobbkit's + Reflect Type, Body Press, Weather Ball, Tri-Attack, Steel Beam, Flash Cannon, Shock Wave, Power Gem, Extrasensory, Icy Wind, Solar Beam, Grass Knot, Energy Ball, Electroball, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Stored Power, Aurora Beam, Icy Wind, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Cosmic Power, Disable, Iron Defense, Magic Coat, Nature Power, Morning Sun, Reflect, Light Screen, Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast
Design: Allynx is based on a lynx. It is slender and quadrupedal, with patterned whitish-grey fur. Unlike, Bobbkit and Slobbkat which spend most of their time in caves during the day, Allynx often venture out of the caves. Allynx is able to change the texture and hardness of its fur at will, and will use it to defend itself from attacks very effectively. Its fur is highly sought after and as a result is rarely seen. Its fur is said to glisten all colours in the sunlight and to glow in the moonlight.
Competitive Use: Unique typing and stat spread which allows it to beat specific threats. In addition, its colourful movepool lends itself to set up sets with Nasty Plot, Iron Defense or Cosmic Power, as well as recovery moves with the choice of Morning Sun or Moonlight which cannot be hampered by adverse weather conditions.

These should be considered counterparts. Yes, one evolved while one doesn't.

Name: Nuggold (Nugget + Gold)
Typing:

Ability: Illuminate
Base Stats: 59 / 45 / 73 / 61 / 25 / 37 | BST: 300
Notable Moves: Ancient Power, Stealth Rock, Rock Polish, Rock Throw, Meteor Beam, Rock Blast, Power Gem, Gyro Ball, Flash Cannon, Iron Head, Metal Sound, Iron Defense, Metal Burst, Metal Claw, Steel Roller, Steel Beam, Dazzling Gleam, Sing, Hyper Voice, Gust, Peck, Reflect, Pluck, Thunder Wave and universal Gen 9 TMs
Height + Weight: 0.37m, 72 kg
Flavour/Design: Small nugget of gold, that also looks like a teeny wingless canary. It's based on both a gold nugget and canaries that people carried in caves when mining, to tell if they are running low on good air. Gold is a big part of California's legacy, so it is represented here. Illuminate is a double meaning, it shines like gold in the dark, and it helps miners keep on the right track as it let's them know if it's safe to mine.
Potential Competitive Role: LC

Name: Auruangeles (Aurum latin for Gold + Angelus latin for Angel + Los Angeles)
Typing:

Ability: Justified
Base Stats: 89 / 88 / 111 / 94 / 65 / 77 | BST: 524
Notable Moves: Nuggold's Movepool + Calm Mind, Bullet Punch, Smart Strike, Steel Wing, Make It Rain, Dual Wingbeat, Air Slash, Air Cutter, Acrobatics, Aerial Ace, Defog, Brave Bird, Hurricane, Feather Dance, Mirror Move, Swords Dance, Healing Wish, Heal Pulse, Sacred Sword, Spotlight, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Fly, Wish
Height + Weight: 0.97m, 107 kg
Flavour/Design: A golden angelic-like bird that guides and protects people under it's protection. Auruangeles is a natural evolution of Nuggold's main concept. Auruangeles is a matriarchal Pokémon that seeks to protect everyone who enters it's cave, and also defends lost people who wander in and guides them out. Unfortunately, people tend to take advantage of Auruangeles, and will often take pieces of its gold for themselves (Auruangeles is too pure to understand it's being exploited)
Potential Competitive Role: The standard Steel / Flying type, but this time no recovery. It can block Defog and Status with Gold as Gold, but it can't stop Rapid Spin unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you feel about that). 89 / 111 / 65 is ok bulk, serviceable at what it needs to do.

Name: Pytrix (Pyrite aka the name for Fool's Gold + a corruption of Tricks)
Typing:

Notable Moves: Screech, Lash Out, Knock Out, Crunch, Sucker Punch, Assurance, Foul Play, Taunt, Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, Bite, Embargo, Quash, Spikes, Brutal Swing, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Fake Tears, Night Slash, Parting Shot, Snarl, Fake Out, Thief, Torment, Rock Blast, Power Gem, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Gyro Ball, Flash Cannon, Iron Head, Metal Sound, Metal Claw, Bullet Punch, Smart Strike, Steel Wing, Earth Power, Earthquake, Focus Punch, Light Screen, Dazzling Gleam, Play Rough, Howl, Flamethrower, Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam and universal Gen 9 TMs
Height + Weight: 0.55m, 53 kg
Flavour/Design: Based primarily on the concept of Fools Gold, a mineral that people often confuse for gold based on it's appearance, but it also has a slightly sinister tone. An imp that cloaks itself with scraps of metal and Auruangeles feathers, and uses it's disguise to lure in travellers and Pokémon who seek out Auru's protection, or seek out its golden plummage and proceeds to eat them!
Potential Competitive Role: Pytrix can either be a fun set up sweeper thanks to Disguise or a utility pivot thanks to it's oodles of utility options under it's belt + Prankster.

Original Pokémon: Zubat (Convergent)
Name: Zudrat (Zubat + Dragon)
Typing:
1689134275866.png
1689134284780.png

Abilities
: Immunity / Sheer Force (HA)
Base Stats: 40 / 50 / 35 / 35 / 40 / 45 | 245
Notable Moves: Zubat’s Movepool + Outrage, Dragon Rush, Draco Fang, Dragon Tail, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Breath, Twister, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Dragon Dance, Will-O-Wisp
Height + Weight: 0.9 m, 8.8 kg
New Features: Draco Fang / Type: Dragon / BP: 90 / PP: 15 / Accuracy: 100% / Category: Physical / Explanation: Has a 30% chance to burn the opponent.
Flavor/Design: Resembles a Zubat, but is actually a tiny green dragon with Wyvern wings! It has a dragon tail as well now.
Potential Competitive Role: LC. Stats are low even by the meta’s standards but could still have a niche with Sheer Force LO and set-up.

Original Pokémon: Golbat (Convergent)
Name: Goldrat (Golbat + Dragon)
Typing:
1689134275866.png
1689134284780.png

Abilities
: Immunity / Sheer Force (HA)
Base Stats: 80 / 85 / 75 / 70 / 70 / 75 | 455
Notable Moves: Zudrat and Golbat’s Movepool + Fire Blast, Thunder
Height + Weight: 1.7 m, 64 kg
Flavor/Design: Zudrat but now resembling a Golbat, with fierce dragon eyes and a sharp mouth filled with jaws.
Potential Competitive Role: NFE, although it’s higher than usual stats and access to Sheer Force and set-up moves might make it too strong for it. Could serve as a NU or even RU offensive Pokémon with Dragon Dance and Sheer Force LO. Could also run defensive with its high utility and Eviolite-boosted bulk, although not running boots cuts into its defensive utility. Has a lot of coverage for Sheer Force like Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Steel Wing, and STAB Draco Fang, although its poor initial speed and bulk without Eviolite keeps it in the lower tiers.

Original Pokémon: Crobat
Name: Crodrat (Crobat + Dragon)
Typing:
1689134275866.png
1689134284780.png

Abilities
: Immunity / Sheer Force (HA)
Base Stats: 95 / 100 / 80 / 80 / 80 / 100 | 535
Notable Moves: Goldrat and Crobat’s Movepool + Dragon Claw, Shadow Claw, Crush Claw
Height + Weight: 2.2 m, 92 kg
Flavor/Design: Goldrat but resembling Crobat. Now has sharp claws for feet.
Potential Competitive Role: Same role as Goldrat but with much higher stats and probably less likely to run defensive sets without Eviolite. To compare with Nidoking, it has a lot less coverage but overall better stats with proper set up and more viable physical sets, giving it versatility. However, its typing is very lacking offensively, and it has no STAB physical Flying moves and special Dragon moves that are boosted by Sheer Force. Its also weak to rocks. If not OU viable it will probably have a niche in UU.

Name: Groink (Grumpig + Oink)
Typing:
1689194817773.png
1689194826980.png

Abilities:
Thick Fat / Mud Shield / Gluttony (HA)
Base Stats: 100 / 55 / 75 / 110 / 120 / 90 | 550
Notable Moves: Grumpig’s Movepool + Mud Bomb, Earthquake, Knock Off, Sandstorm, Stealth Rock, Slack Off
Height + Weight: 1.72 m, 183 kg
New Features: Mud Shield: Each time this Pokémon switches in, it fills its body with mud. When hit by a contact move, the mud comes off and this Pokémon heals 1/8 of its max HP and curses status.
Flavor/Design: Grumpig, but much taller and fatter. It has sharp horns and an intimidating face, resembling a warthog. Its body is covered in black mud. Despite its large size, its ability to slide and roll in its own mud makes it surprisingly quick. It can also propel itself further with its spring tail.
Potential Competitive Role: Very well-rounded stats, a wide movepool, and good abilities make Groink a versatile Pokémon that could serve several niches in OU. While also having common weaknesses, Psychic/Ground also has important resistances to Fighting and Rock, as well as an immunity to Electric. Thick Fat helps it further with an important resistance to Fire and getting rid of its Ice weakness. Alternatively, Mud Shield punishes many physical attackers while giving it more longevity. It has some decent utility with options like Knock Off and Stealth Rock. With Nasty Plot and a decent offensive typing, Groink can also go offensive. Its speed tier is pretty average for an offensive Pokémon, but its huge bulk and coverage make up for it. However, Groink has its flaws, such as being reliant on coverage to be a threat, and vulnerable to faster Pokémon that can take advantage of its common weaknesses.

Name: Stalagmine (Stalagmite + Mine)
Typing:
1689384489951.png

Abilities:
Intimidate / Strong Jaw / Rough Skin (HA)
Base Stats: 77 / 88 / 99 / 23 / 37 / 18 | 335
Notable Moves: Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Rock Blast, Earthquake, Crunch, Ice Fang, Ice Shard, Icicle Crash, Fire Fang, Thunder Fang, Explosion, Meteor Beam, Power Gem, Earth Power, Stealth Rock, Iron Defense, Universal TMs
Height + Weight: 0.89 m, 42 kg
Flavor/Design: A little stalagmite with coal eyes and small stalactite teeth digging into the ground.
Potential Competitive Role: Quite physically bulky for a LC mon, with a large amount of power and good coverage. Intimidate just adds to its physical bulk even more. However, its a very slow Rock type, meaning Pokemon can easily take it out by taking advantage of its common weaknesses and lower special bulk.

Name: Cavavore
Typing:
1689384489951.png

Abilities:
Intimidate / Strong Jaw / Rough Skin (HA)
Base Stats: 97 / 113 / 118 / 26 / 32 / 49 | 435
Notable Moves: Stalagmine’s movepool + Stalactite Crash, Icicle Crash, Avalanche, Dark Pulse, Curse, Roar
Height + Weight: 1.65 m, 89.4 kg
New Features: Stalactite Crash / Type: Rock / BP: 90 / PP: 15 / Accuracy: 100% / Category: Physical / Explanation: 20% chance to lower the target’s Defense by 1.
Flavor/Design: Small cave with coal eyes and its opening being used as a mouth, with stalactites and stalagmites for teeth. It swallows anything that goes inside it, mistaking it for a normal cave.
Potential Competitive Role: NFE, although it might be too bulky for it with Eviolite and Intimidate, but it is a slow Rock type! Depends on where its evolution ends up, but I can see this being in PU as a bulky tank with good coverage and a reliable Rock type STAB move.

Name: Sharocken
Typing:
1689384489951.png

Abilities:
Intimidate / Strong Jaw / Rough Skin (HA)
Base Stats: 117 / 137 / 146 / 40 / 62 / 33 | 535
Notable Moves: Cavavore’s movepool + Superpower, Outrage
Height/Weight: 2.94 m, 168 kg
Flavor/Design: A giant cave monster in the shape of what appears to be a shark with a rocky fin. It has two stalagmites sticking out in the form of “hands”. Only the upper body and mouth is shown, hiding its true form. It has loads of stalactite and stalagmite teeth to chomp anyone who comes in.
Potential Competitive Role: Really, really tanky with Intimidate on the physical end, and it also has a really high Attack stat with amazing coverage in Earthquake and Icicle Crash. Can work as a bulky Stealth Rock setter that deals a lot of damage. However, its a slow Rock type with mid special bulk, so I expect it to be about RU or NU maybe.

Height + Weight: 1.3 meters, 50.5 kilograms
Flavour/Design: With better control of it’s icy power, Horifuyu is about as highly active during the winter as during the summer. It still have a tendency to scare itself with it’s own shadow, likely due to not being used to looking down after being positively obsessed with weathers. The yellow markings on it’s feet are more prominent, and it’s icy cheek marks are even bigger.
Potential Competitive Role: BoltBeam STAB Calm Mind sweeper with Winter Coat chipping down opposing Special Attackers. It’s not competitive winning, but like Pawmot, it’s a Pikaclone that could at least do great in whether tier it could be in.

PS Tiebreaker’s still ongoing, I forgot to mention! I’ll vote for Lediund for tiebreak.

Rampage
16 PP
Rock
Special
95 BP

The user brutally fights the opponent, which gives the attack a 30% chance to lower the target's defense by 1.
Why is this move Rock-type and Special? You might want to fix up what does Rampage do.

Name: Cinnabaron (Cinnabar + baron)
Type: Rock/Poison
Ability: Toxic Chain/Solid Rock/Merciless (HA)
Base Stats: 90 / 50 / 85 / 120 / 75 / 110 (530)
Notable Moves: Power Gem, Fallout Burst*, Sludge Wave, Venoshock, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Make it Rain, Dark Pulse, Muddy Water, Overdrive, Acid Armor, Toxic, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Baneful Bunker, Rock Polish, Electric Terrain, Stomping Tantrum, Rock Slide, Wild Charge, Double Iron Bash, Foul Play, Mortal Spin, Poison Jab, Gunk Shot
* Fallout Burst: Rock-type, sound-based Infernal Parade that targets all opponents and may badly poison instead of burn. This is a shout out to two things: Fallout (...thank RoDG for that), which explains the bad poisoning and hex effects; and the American rock band Fall Out Boy, who while based in Chicago, initially met together thanks to a discussion of Californian band Neurosis, which also ties up the Rock-type and sound-based properties.
Potential Competitive Role: While it hits softer and takes slightly less hits than Glimmora, it can either leave most of the opposing team badly poisoned thanks to Toxic Chain (if you're reading this as of writing, it's the same Ability as that dog, monkey and pheasant who bully an oni); alternatively, it can abuse Merciless to crit foes when they already are.
No, this is just unfair. Toxic effect is already a very potent status ailment on it’s own, so when combining with drawbackless 120 Rock STAB from Fallout Burst if opponent is statused and Merciless, alongside 110 base Speed, puts too much pressure on both offensive and defensive team on it’s own. I don’t know how to change it without rework it completely. If anyone disagree with me,

Typing: Ghost/Ground
Ability: Gritty*/Good As Gold/Perish Body

Height + Weight: 2.1 m, 188.7 kg
Flavour/Design: Ghostly Ursaluna that's less dirty and decked in semi-exposed gold ore. Their earth-bending skills may not be as good as their living counterparts, but they can be a problem for miners, given that they hibernate underground - and usually don't care how they get under. Cursabling, as a golden bear, is also a shoutout to the California Golden Bears athletic team.
*Gritty: When the Pokémon is inflicted with a non-volatile status condition, boosts its Sp. Atk by 50%.
Potential Competitive Role: ...Well, have fun with Special Guts. Or — in the case of Ursaring-Desvega — you can boost with Quick Feet, considering its Sp. Atk is still very good. Blocking with Good as Gold as Cursabling is also an option, though not the best one I think...
I might suggest to make Cursabling more slower but higher Attack to make it more distinct from Desvegan Ursaring (optional), while putting away / reworking Gritty, since 130 Special Attack backed up by Burn to activate that Ability would make it a ruthless glass cannon that could restrict teambuilding, since Ghost / Ground STAB are quite potent on their own.

The rest are fine. If anyone disagree with me, or if I missed something, let me know.

And now, the tiebreaker winner.

Ratium line 2
Lediund 2
(I cast my tiebreaker vote before it ends)
Junipage line 1
Platini line 1
Grubbub line 1

Congratulations for the tiebreak winners, Ratium line by anaconja and Lediund by flareth13!

Lediund’s Huge Power ability does make it pretty strong, alongside First Impression, so I encourage to sub some bulky Poison, Flying or Fairy Pokémon to make sure it won’t be too powerful for OU.

Flavor Moves: Dig, Bug Bite, Slash, Slam, Double Edge

Distribution: Aurinarch

Type:

Category:

Base Points: 130
Power Points: 8
Accuracy: 90
Miscellaneous: Non-contact, Attack is done by manipulating gold underground to strike the opponent
Effect: Lowers the user's special attack by 2 after use.
Distribution: Aurinarch

Flavor/Design: The monarch of the Aurumites, it is known for its greed. It will immediately dispose of any contenders to its throne of gold. The only thing this Pokemon is interested in is gold, and it shall forever remain burdened by its greed. // Through its constant contact with its wealth, it has developed a keen sense for it, and has the ability to control anything it deems precious - it is a terrible idea to even think about acquiring an Aurinarch's gold // Aurunarch will be sitting on a golden "throne" being its abdomen, while still remaining that insectoid style, with a rough golden crown and scepter, the golden color is very prominent
Potential Competitive Role: An ou viable bulky wall breaker, with a less-than-ideal typing. Has abilities that boost its wall-breaking potential, with others that boost its defensive ability. It allows Aurunarch to trade its ground fighting resistance for a lot more neutralities, while only being weak to fire and water. And its third ability allows it a niche on trick room teams, blocking priority options that could potentially pick off Aurinarch

There happens to be a lot of termites in southwest USA, specifically California, so it makes perfect sense to make termites that instead of wood, eat gold.

They are often seen with law enforcement due to their heroic tendency - for better or for worse. // a rough stone golem-like appearance, with a cape with poor craftsmanship. Distribution: Dacnightly

Flavor/Design: the "superhero of the night", often seen in caves where night happens to be the only reality. Has a heroic soul, but shies away from recognition. This Pokemon is often mistaken as a stalker, however, this misunderstanding is usually resolved after their work is done protecting the peace of the night. / a more shifty and thin build, but still rock-like humanoid. Has a mask and a cloak, with various rock like "tools". Colored darker gray with white inclusions- with eyes being darker, for stealth purpouses
Potential Competitive Role: either ou/uu viable fast rock that can act as a hazard lead, with silly move prankster sets, shadowy guile thrice into salac noob killer

These two were created as andesite and dacite are common rocks in southwest America, and with America having a pretty strong fixation on superheroes, these cover that role.

Flavor/Design: Found nearly anywhere, this Pokemon enjoys finding coins and dice of various sizes, and stores them in its bag, where it uses the "wealth" it obtained to gamble against other Pokemon - and win, as it seems to have a great amount of luck behind it. People believe it to be a symbol of fortune, and trainers who often gamble can relate to this Pokemon. // Rat-like Pokemon with a pouch on its back, it stands upright
Potential Competitive Role: Lc absolute threat wall breaker

Base Stats: 82 HP / 130 Atk / 77 Def / 13 SpA / 77 SpD / 77 Spe (456) || obvious implication of 13 and 77, both being numbers involved with luck. The min-maxed 13 is justified due to Wagerat liking to keep his assets physical not "special" (digital)
Notable Moves: Swift Strike, Iron Head, Bullet Punch, Slack Off, Pin Missile, Liquidation, Ice Shard, Pin Missle, Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, Wild Charge
Flavor Moves: Make it Rain, Payday
Height + Weight: 1.4m, 77.7kg (mostly the bag of treasures)
New Features:
Effect: All attacks are critical, but don't receive the critical attack boost.
Distribution: Wagerat

Flavor/Design: Often spotted near casinos, this Pokemon's gambling habit kept getting worse - but it didn't negatively affect it, it kept winning, and its winnings are stashed in its large accompanying sack, and when it is full, it stashes its winnings in a hideout that usually isn't found by anyone except it. This Pokemon is not allowed near casinos, however, they will not play with an unwilling participant // kinda looks like the resourceful rat from Gungeon, a larger rat with an even larger sack of cash. The rat is blinged out, having chains, a hat, and aviator glasses, and the large sack is overflowing with its wealth.
Potential Competitive Role: Wallbreaker for UU, with nice priority options due to "wording" moves

since the region happens to be based on the area near Nevada, the location of Las Vegas the biggest gambling hub in the world, the pikaclone should only follow and be a gambler !! gang gambling you can only lose 100% of your money but gain 2000% of it

This is a night stalker from the hit game FALLOUT NEW VEGAS. As you can see it's a mix between a coyote and a rattlesnake because scientists got bored and decided to splice these two creatures together to make this. Outside from them almost exclusively being found in caves they deal poison damage, but given that they're just animals they're not really evil. In fact if you have the animal friendship perk they actually won't attack you.

Flavour/Design: Alright so before I just listed the California grizzly bear as the flavor and the same still applies here, however shitty fact about this bear, it's fucking extinct. We killed all the California grizzly bears hence why the line is ghost type. As for Grizztriol we have a vengeful spirit possessing its former body, or possibly another body of a Desvegan Ursaring. However it appears to have two heads, the physical head and the ghostly head. If you are wondering why well ...

Weight: 0.8 kg
Flavor: California has a number of lava tubes, caves that were formed by lava melting through rock. They’re pretty neat so I wanted smth that could live in them. Hotpole is just the setup for the evo tho, a blobby tadpole that spits magma. Name is a portmanteau of "hot" and "tadpole."
Height: 0.3 m

Pokémon: Triassinge
Typing:

Stats: 80 HP / 60 Atk / 90 Def / 115 SpA / 105 SpD / 80 Spe / 530 BST
Abilities: Magma Armor / Shed Skin | Regenerator
Movepool: Acid Spray, Ancient Power, Bulldoze, Coil, Draco Meteor, Dragon Breath, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Rush, Dragon Tail, Earth Power, Earthquake, Ember, Endure, Energy Ball, Eruption, Facade, Fire Blast, Fire Spin, Fissure, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Flame Wheel, Flare Blitz, Giga Impact, Heat Wave, Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam, Incinerate, Inferno, Lava Plume, Morning Sun, Mud Shot, Mud-Slap, Muddy Water, Protect, Outrage, Overheat, Rain Dance, Rest, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Scald, Sleep Talk, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Soak, Solar Beam, Stealth Rock, Stomping Tantrum, Stone Edge, Substitute, Sunny Day, Surf, Tail Whip, Twister, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Will-O-Wisp
Weight: 197.3 kg
Flavor: So here's what's meant to be the little guy in the image. Triassange takes inspiration from Funcusvermis gilmorei, the oldest known caecillian and one of the first amphibians to emerge, whose fossils are found only in Arizona (SW state so it fits). I wanted a serpentine creature that could be depicted slithering through lava tubes that wasn’t just a snake or a worm, and the concept of caves formed by eruptions long ago and the trope of prehistoric beasts still living underground were easy to connect.
Upon evolving (perhaps by leveling up while knowing Ancient Power), Hotpole’s genes regress to an ancestral form. Triassinge was a common Pokemon 250 million years ago, back when Desvega was a fiery wasteland. But its numbers were decimated after an extinction event, with the remaining few hiding away in volcanic caverns, still lurking beneath the surface to this day. Triassinge can superheat its skin, turning into a living river of magma as it bores through the earth and forms new tunnels. Name is a portmanteau of "Triassic" (the time period of Funcusvermis) and "singe."
Role: Regen Eruption clicker with pretty good bulk and colorful coverage.
Height: 5.9 m

Ariados’ movepool
+ Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Gunk Shot, Hex, Pain Split, Phantom Force, Pounce, Psycho Cut, Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Swords Dance, U-Turn
- All snapped moves
Weight: 36.0 kg
Flavor: Let’s give Ledian’s ol’ rival some love too. Inspired by Trogloraptor marchingtoni, a unique spider found almost exclusively in the caves of Oregon. This species has only been found outside this range once, a lone young specimen within California’s redwood forests.
Ariaglobite would take Ariados’ design and make it lankier and bone-white. Maybe the legs that were on the abdomen could be raked forward into sinister-looking scythes, while the abdomen gets a spookier face. This Pokemon is the result of Ariados adapting to dark caves, shedding its mortal body and using its array of fangs and claws to devour any trace of life energy. Name is a portmanteau of "Ariadne" and "troglobite."
Role: Big Crawdaunt-esque breaker but with actual bulk. High Atk alongside a solid STAB combo further bolstered by Adapt makes Ariaglobite a menace to walls while Sneak helps patch up its poor Speed. Its decent bulk and defensive profile gives it leeway to switch-in or trade hits as well. Can also Webs I guess, Spin immunity is nice for that, but breaker roles are prolly better.

Weight: 13.0 kg
Flavor: A much tougher and rougher pikaclone than usual, Nesabaku has pebbles dotting its fur that act as armor. Instead of fleeing from its enemies, it charges at them head-on regardless of their strength. Name is a portmanteau of the Japanese words "nezumi" (mouse/rat) and "sabaku" (desert).

Weight: 80.0 kg
Flavor: The most rugged pikaclone. After evolving, Nezumuchi prefers to settle things peacefully and only fights if it must. Its feet and winding tail are covered in stone, which it can put to good use by whipping its tail at lightning speed or delivering electrifying kicks. Nezumuchi’s easy-going demeanor has made it a long-time partner for Desvegans. Its especially valuable for wrangling livestock thanks to its Normal-type resistance and by using its tail as a lasso. Name is a portmanteau of the Japanese words "nezumi" (mouse/rat) and "muchi" (whip, the tool).
Role: Fast Head Smasher with anti-Ground coverage and U-Turn.
Height: 1.0 m

And with that, the voting phase will begin. No vetoes by balance concerns, but anything still WIP (Notable Moves missing on NFE and LC is fine) will not be allowed to be voted in.

Like last slate, for cave or cave-like category, you can vote up to five submissions and only one self-vote as long as you vote for another user’s submission. Order does not matter. Refer to both the submission and their submittor to facillate tallying the vote. Counterparts cannot be voted seperately. Top three (including tied) places will be winner, though four or more in third place will result in a tiebreaker.

As we got two Desvegan Teddiursa submissions, you would want to indicate which of the two you were voting for by the creator name. To avoid overlap, only the higher placed Desvegan Teddiursa will get in, but if both somehow got enough vote for top three; only when both are tied that both gets in as ”Breeds” akin to the Paldean Tauros’ three Breeds.

For the Pika-Clone category, it’s an order matters category with you voting for the top three, and you cannot put your self-vote in first place nor as your only vote. Only the first place can get in, though up to two tied first place can enter; three or more, and a tiebreaker begins. For those not aware or remembered on how order voting works, it’s simple:
1st: Three points
2nd: Two points
3rd: One point

In either way, if you vote more than five (or three, in case of Pika-Clone category), your excessive amount of votes will not count.

As usual, the voting phase lasts for 48 hours.
