that battle is horrible . why would he taunt a already taunted zong and not switch to lax . The breloom bait was decent but he had snorlax?It wasnt effective at all........ it had a nooby gimmick look to it, im not trying to be a prick im just being honest.

Number one: The Aerodactyl was scarfed and he was foddering it due to the fact that it was useless but yes that was a noob move on his part, but then again I'm banned from shoddy for the day so all I can do is fight bad players on Pokemon Online because of my low rating there.

Number two: Although it wasn't effective against snorlax, Bronzong was only at plus 2 and Snorlax has Blissey-like defenses and even though I couldn't do much to it, it couldn't do much to me. Number 3 if the taunt wore off then I could have boosted more and eventually KOd. I just showed an example that the Bronzong isn't deadweight. It took down two pokes and took nearly nothing from those Starmie's Hydro Pumps at +2. Yes the battle wasn't optimal, but it was the first one I had in the day.

If you're not doing 6 / 252 / 252, you should EV to take a specific hit or surivive something in particular rather than sprinkling numbers in place.

At the defensive standpoint yes, it is random. I gave the Bronzong 239 Base SpAtk Which lets it Ohko Infernape with Psychic unboosted and I put the rest in defense (btw I actually made a damage chart in an earlier post which shows that I didn't randomly put numbers in). I was under the impression that by lowering Hp and adding defense you stand to take physical hits better but since I'm apparently wrong about that I guess I gotta revise the spread again and focus more on the Defensive standpoint. I had 252/252/6 before but that made Bronzong less powerful so I changed it, but I'll revise the revised set to be more Defensive.
I have been testing it on a different simulator than Shoddy BTW incase you didn't read that, but I used it on Shoddy before I was banned...

EDIT: I Made another spread. These Evs let Bronzong never to be 2 hit Kod by Adamant Life Orbed Waterfall from Gyarados after SR damage as well as retaining the ability to kill Naive Infernape variants with Psychic after SR and the ability to sometimes kill non SpDef lowering variants. It also retains the to ability 2hko heatran with 40 investment in HP unboosted with Hp Ground and has a chance to OHKO at +1 after SR, but Bronzong isn't even obligated to stay in to those people anyway. Bronzong also isn't 3HKOd by Adamant Jirachi's fire punch making it able to set up on it if it pleases you.

Also, is having Hp Fighting a better idea than Hp Ground to hit Tyranitar harder? Or maybe even Hp Fire for Scizor?

I deeply doubt this set's effectiveness, and let me explain why. To begin with, although you can argue that by using Calm Mind in tandem with Psychic, Bronzong becomes able to eliminate foes such as Breloom and Infernape, you're opening a lot of holes here and there in your strategy. Set-up users such as CM Jirachi, CM Suicune, and DD Tyranitar have no problems to come in on this Bronzong and set up respectively; common phazers such as Skarmory, Suicune, Vaporeon, and Swampert can phaze Bronzong away without much difficulties since the damage outputted isn't that worrying in any of the aforementioned Pokemon even after a boost by CM; finally, this Pokemon is weak to the STAB of two of the most common threats of today's metagame, Heatran and Infernape, both that happen to hit considerably hard Bronzong even after a Calm Mind -- after a boost, Specially-based Ape does around 84% of damage with FB, while Heatran has a big chance to score the OHKO with the same move).

I'm not flat out rejecting this set, though before taking my final decision I want the poster of this topic to show us (the Quality Control team) in this thread a row of consecutive logs with the proposed set in action. Ten-twelve logs should suffice, and please do not cherry-pick them.

Jirachi can inflict status effects with greater chance. Also like what Setsuna said, this is shut down by Skarmory and its phazer buddies. Bronzong is better off being a supporter and using Gyro Ball to mow down its opponents.

Having Hp electric does remedy this somewhat, though I do see you're point. Bronzong with lefties does make good opportune sweeper being able to come in on multiple occasions, place a few calm minds and have a short spurt of a sweep in which it can weaken many pokemon. It can also come back in on multiple occasions and clean up lategame.

5 matches against terrible opponents with bad teams, and Bronzong still isn't anything special. If anything, this just proves all points provided against this set.

Look if you don't like it then reject it by all means. I just thought it'd be nice to give Bronzong an effective specially offensive option to give it some versatility even If it doesn't single-handedly mow down teams after little to no setup. But then again I do agree with the points against it and do agree that they are fatal flaws that could keep the Moveset from becoming standard. If I find another option that helps Bronzong deal with every phazer at the same time and stat boosters, I'll post it here along with some more logs.
Plus as stated before I haven't been on shoddy for a while so It'll take a while to get my CRE back up. Until then I'm stuck with these guys.

I'm going to edit the spread and try Explosion instead of Rest. I had an idea that If you can't sweep the entire team yourself, then why not open holes for other teamates to sweep? It also differentiates itself from Jirachi and keeps with Bronzong's supportive nature. Thinking about all the pokemon this bronzong lures i think its a great idea in my opinion. Thoughts? I'll post logs with decent opponents.

The fact that you've been constantly changing this set is convincing everyone that you haven't tested this out on decent teams. Explosion > Rest would ruin the entire point of this set and as already mentioned, will force you to run Attack EVs, which would only make things much more difficult than they are now.

This set is completely useless and is almost completley outclassed (the only thing from stopping it from being completely is levitate). Jirachi's good special attack, good defenses (pretty much equivalent to Bronzong when you take HP into account) and being very unpredictable is what all contributes to CM Jirachi being so effective. Bronzong's pathetic SpA is just far too weak to run a effective Calm Mind set. Finally the sheer number of needed team support for a set that isn't even any good finally says to me that even by some miracle it passes QC which I can almost guarantee it won't I would still never use it.
