Tough choice tbh, out of waterium krook or nihilego for me, but I think i'll go for nihilego ,as as long as I had enough hp I would normally stay in on the grass knot to go for the earthquake and definitely get caught by that, while waterium krook as stated isn't a guaranteed ko even after knock off.

Congratulations to Estarossa for winning with Toxic Mega Manectric!

As arguably the best Choice Scarf user in the tier, Krookodile has been performing really well as a great revenge killer and Pursuit trapper. With a good typing, decent bulk, and access to Intimidate, it has the ability to switch into some of the Pokemon it checks, so it can be lured and removed to become less of a threat.

Submissions close Sunday February 24th. Good luck!

Nihilego @ Grassium Z / Life Orb
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Knock Off
- Sludge Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot

This set has been something I've been trying out recently. Knock Off Nihilego does a good job of dealing with krook switching in but it needs LO to kill. Grassium alleviates that problem. LO is still fine if you don’t need the longevity as much.

Manectric-Mega @ Manectite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Protect
- Volt Switch
- Overheat / Flamethrower
- Signal Beam

Choice Scarf Krookodile is one of the best Revenge Killer to Mega Manectric. However, thanks to Protect, Mega Manectric can scout in which attack Krookodile locks itself. If it's Pursuit or Knock Off, Mega Manectric can punish it with Signal Beam which is also a great way to punish Latias and Hydreigon.

Terrakion @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Rock Polish
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge

Alright so, main purpose here is to setup your Rock Polish on Krooko's Equake and then just right sweep the team if you weakened it enough.

Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Dazzling Gleam / Focus Blast
- Counter

This set lures in Krookodile in basically every scenario as long as hazards are off the field. Krook commonly comes in trying to revenge then you just bop it back with a counter and OHKO back. The set is still effective outside of a Krook match-up also which is nice. I personally like Dazzling Gleam to make this set effective vs Kommo-o and Hydreigon, but Focus Miss works fine too. Pretty straight forward set ^_^

All of the good lures are taken :blobsad:

Azelf @ Adrenaline Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Fire Blast
- Energy Ball

Azelf is one of the weirdest mons in the tier due to it having a lot of possible experimentation with sets. I took this set from Phobic but NP Azelf is an interesting breaker and lures in Krookodile nicely with an Adrenaline Orb to let it outspeed and KO with an Energy Ball.

Muk-Alola @ Assault Vest
Ability: Poison Touch
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Gunk Shot
- Knock Off
- Focus Punch

-1 252+ Atk Muk-Alola Focus Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Krookodile: 248-292 (74.9 - 88.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

snipe it on the switch and its basically gone after rocks next time.

Darksafadao

best of the second options

Starmie @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Psyshock

Colbur Starmie is my favorite way of luring Krookodile. On Krookodile teams, the way they deal with Starmie usually is using Scarf Krook to Pursuit trap Starmie or just Knock/Crunch it down. With Colbur, Starmie is way freer to click moves and can effectively lure Krook in and get a kill on it, potentially also freeing the way for its Pursuit weak teammates. It also is a solid Starmie set in general.

Celebi @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Giga Drain
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Similar to the above Colbur Starmie, really, just a different mon. Krook might try and scare it out, but it doesn't kill with Colbur and you out-heal Knock Off across two turns, so it goes down. Or you just smack it with a fat OHKO if you're lucky after Rocks once, or Guaranteed twice.

Lucario @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Focus Blast
- Extreme Speed
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon
This Lucario is meant to take out kKrookodile with focus blast if you get lucky. The opponent doubles or switches Into Lucario unboosted, Lucario dies. 252 Atk Krookodile Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Lucario: 408-480 (145.1 - 170.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO But... This Lucario doesn't need a boost to kill krookodile in one hit, and even lives earthquake from it. To tell this is true: 252 Atk Krookodile Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Shuca Berry Lucario: 204-240 (72.5 - 85.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO can even use it for other stuff like killing 50% bee with espeed, surprise Gengar or even decidueye with shadow ball, or just spam the much reliable flash Cannon. I recommend pairing Lucario with wish as you will be weakened HARD, so much you'd stay in range of a priority move... Since Lucario is SOOOOO frail

Latias @ Adrenaline Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Fire

Set's super cool on spikestack HO. Adrenaline Orb gives a +1 boost to Speed if Latias gets Intimidated by Krookodile, which is consistently OHKOed by +1 Ice Beam (also weakens Knock so you can hard Calm Mind on it if needed). Set has some issues with Empoleon but that's why you run it on spikestack.

Zeraora @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Focus Blast
- Grass Knot
- Knock Off

Zera can easily take 1 from Krook with Shuca. meanwhile, A max SpA focus Blast will always OHKO after rocks and a knock to get rid of scarf.
