National Dex Monotype Tornadus-T

[SET]
Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Flyinium Z / Heavy-Duty Boots
Name: Nasty Plot Wallbreaker
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Hurricane / Bleakwind Storm
- Focus Blast / Heat Wave
- Taunt / Knock Off

[SET COMMENTS]
A colorful movepool, a great Speed tier, and Regenerator make Tornadus-T one of Flying's best wallbreakers. Bleakwind Storm can be used if Tornadus-T is paired with Mega Charizard Y, as its accuracy is not affected by sun. Focus Blast grants Tornadus-T excellent neutral coverage and is able to hit most Steel- and Rock-types, like Heatran and Tyranitar, hard. Heat Wave, however, has the benefit of nailing Jirachi, Gholdengo, and Corviknight, which makes it a better option against Psychic, Ghost, and, if using Knock Off, Steel teams. In the last slot, Taunt is preferred, so Tornadus-T can safely set up on walls like Toxapex and Ting-Lu, but Knock Off's ability to cripple the likes of defensive Heatran and Galarian Slowking is worth considering. Tornadus-T has a very poor matchup against Electric-types, so Pokemon that can deal with them, such as Landorus-T and Gliscor, are must-haves. They're also able to lay down Stealth Rock and have access to Defog, making them incredible teammates. Similarly, Corviknight and Celesteela stomach most Ice-type attacks aimed at Tornadus-T, thanks to their bulk and Steel typing. Mega Charizard Y forms a terrifying wallbreaking duo alongside Tornadus-T that breaks down shared checks such as Heatran and Blissey. Setup sweepers like Dragon Dance Dragonite and Agility Thundurus-T greatly appreciate Tornadus-T weakening or removing walls for them. 88 HP and 8 Special Defense EVs can be used over Special Attack to ensure Tornadus-T lives an Ice Beam from Choice Scarf Greninja from full health.

A colorful movepool, a great Speed tier, and Regenerator make Tornadus-T one of Flying's best wallbreakers. After a Nasty Plot boost, Supersonic Skystrike rips through most walls that do not resist it, such as Toxapex, Gastrodon, and Mega Sableye. Bleakwind Storm can be used if Tornadus-T is paired with Mega Charizard Y, as its accuracy is not affected by sun. Focus Blast grants Tornadus-T excellent neutral coverage and is able to hit Steel- and Rock-types, like Heatran and Tyranitar, hard. Heat Wave, however, has the benefit of nailing Corviknight, Gholdengo, and Jirachi, which makes it a better option against Steel (stonewalled by heatran however, and should be mentioned that heat wave is paired with knock?) and Psychic teams. On the last slot, Taunt is generally preferred so Tornadus-T can safely setup on walls like Toxapex and Ting-Lu, but Knock Off's ability to cripple the likes of defensive Heatran, Galarian Slowking, and Iron Hands makes it a worthy alternative. Tornadus-T has a very poor matchup against Electric-types, so Pokemon that can deal with them, such as Landorus-T and Gliscor, are must-haves. (Perhaps mention scarf Lando, beating koko M.Dia and luring in Slowbro to uturn on it is really good) They're also able to lay down Stealth Rock and have access to Defog, making them incredible teammates. Mega Charizard Y forms a terrifying wallbreaking duo alongside Tornadus-T, with one breaking down the other's checks, such as Heatran and Toxapex, respectively. Setup sweepers like Dragon Dance Dragonite and Agility Thundurus-T greatly appreciate Tornadus-T weakening or removing walls for them. Add M.Aero and Steel birds too? If you're using the spread I gave, an explanation would be great on it too

implemented bar the spread (thought about it as well but ultimately I think scarf gren (and it in general) isn't as relevant anymore + tornt wants to be as strong as it can)

can you do a secondary spread somewhere at the end of the paragraph instead, as sort of an other option (like how SV Mono did with Gastro)?

Thankie in advance Mat
