Pokémon Tauros

Normal
Base Stats: HP 75 / ATK 100 / DEF 95 / SPA 40 / SPD 70 / SPE 110
Abilities: Anger Point / Intimidate / Sheer Force
Notable Moves:
Body Slam
Close Combat
Earthquake
Raging Bull
Iron Head
Trailblaze
Rock Slide
Stone Edge
Zen Headbutt

Pros:
- Fast wallbreaker with an amazing ability in Sheer Force; an ability that its Paldean counterpart doesn’t have
- Because of Sheer Force, it can run Life Orb without drawback
- Great coverage making it near unresisted
- Now has Raging Bull as a signature move (although it isn’t boosted by Sheer Force so you’d rather use Body Slam)
- Great speed stat of 110
- Its THE Bull!

Cons:
- Lost a few moves from Gen 8, notably Throat Chop
- Is prone to getting revenge killed by faster threats
- Worse typing than its Paldean version
- Only really has Sheer Force to differentiate it from its Paldean sibling
- Isn’t good enough for OU sadly

Tera Potential:
- Tera Ghost is a good defensive typing that removes your one weakness
- Tera Normal increases your STAB Body Slam damage even further

Potential Set:
All Out Attacker
Tauros (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Body Slam
- Close Combat
- Iron Head / Zen Headbutt
- Rock Slide / Zen Headbutt / Trailblaze

Basically the same as its SS set, but because Tauros lost Throat Chop I had to improvise a little bit. Its worth noting that because of Sheer Force, Trailblaze wont increase your speed.

Verdict:

Lower tier Pokémon that will be good in a lower tier that doesn’t really exist yet because of how tiering works. I predict that it will likely hang around the RU/NU range, but I’m not too familiar with those tiers so I don’t know how it would do there (not that it’ll matter with those tiers likely looking completely different by the time Tauros drops)

If you use this guy in OU, use Blizzard or Ice Beam to lure and heavily damage Lando, Tusk and Chomp. I would even add Fire Blast too, but there is no Ferro and no Kartana this time. Also, EQ is 100% needed to not get humillated by Gholdengo. So, 3 moves (Slam, Ice special move and EQ) are kinda mandatory, at least if you want Tauros to do something in OU.

Slam, Blizzard, EQ? Sounds familiar…
