Lickilicky acts as a bulky cleric thanks to its access to Heal Bell and other utility options like Wish and Knock Off, and its fairly good special bulk lets it take on some common attackers like Rotom and offensive Spikes Froslass. However, its passivity in the face of many setup sweepers like Skuntank, Alcremie, and Silvally-Dark means that to properly function it needs support from teammates able to take on these threats. Lickilicky is also outclassed by other clerics such as Miltank, Alcremie, and Clefairy, mainly due to these Pokemon's better matchups versus common threats and access to instant recovery in a metagame where Wish is not that valuable.
