  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

Not enough predicts last week so may as well take a stab at it. Doing GSC only cause 1. I don't know DPP well enough and 2. I'm lazy as im typing this up:

Chiles Habaneros vs GLFGno7: Chiles pulled a good MU with Jynx + Zam into Meganium Paraspam and while he arguably got more fortune than Siatam last week. I think his teamchoices and given that he's been playing well this tour will give him the edge over GLFG who's been in a slump sad to say. Cool game nonetheless.
TLTK vs BIG WILL: Haven't seen BIG WILL play GSC in recent memory so i'll go with the player who has more history in the tier.

airfare vs Siatam: Gonna be interesting to see what both these guys bring but bolding the player who has far more GSC experience + should be motivated to win this week. Please don't load garbage mons Siatam
Torchic vs John Madden: Torchic has been playing very solid in every tour i've seen in recent weeks and RoAPL is no different, including their game last week where they had to play vs stall with no spikes (s/o Tentacruel) and bringing it very close with cursetar. Having that being said, can't say i've been the biggest fan of their teams but yea... Definitely think skill wise this favours Torchic.

RealJester vs ziloXX: If this goes to an offence vs offence MU this game is gonna be heat. Although zilo is coming into this game 4-0 I have reason to believe that Jester will be coming into this game motivated for a win. (also hoping this game doesn't require an activity call as well)
BlazingDark vs Iguana: mc played for the most part a solid game last week (perhaps the endgame could have been a bit better by just mashing HP Ice vs the Zapdos and not risking Thunders). That being said, I think he is just slightly favoured off his form vs a very strong opponent in BD from what i've saw this tour (not GSC Cup).

Sorry if these aren't as good as Shing's DPP predicts, not sorry if I offended any1 in this post. Go Daves!!!

6/17 yall did me dirty on w3 wtf(especially you Susciety for jinxing yourself on discord), but I'm praying to Arceus for the positive score at the end :row:

Also got to see Zerkas first roapl game and Churi play DPP again, which was pretty hype to watch at 1 am, grats for the first win Zerkas :)

DPP OU: Sharow vs Gondra
Gondra has been using bulkier teams and won both last week, making me sure that they're capable to play defensive teams that last long. While Sharow has strictly brought offensive teams with no signs of balance/stall, even if their last team was slightly different than the typical HO. Makes me feel like Sharow's going to face teams that's hyper focused to wear out hyper-offensive teams(perhaps even lack of Wincon if the Wincon itself is simply wearing down the opponent but struggles against setups with healing e.g) or teams that punish straightforward type of offense. But I could see Gondra pulling out tricky Offense vs Sharow so it could be an Offense vs Offense. But in my mind I think Gondra's going towards to defensive teams as a way to secure the victory this week hence I'm betting them to win this week.
DPP OU: QWILY vs Laurel
Quite impressed that Qwily won vs Pideous(you totally deserved that Brave Bird on your Nape ngl, bc I feel like you brought that type of team before and you would definitely pull out a turn like that lol if ppl scouted your replays) however I think Laurel will simply outplay via minimal risk and get the right positions to guarantee the victory imo. I will say QWILY got those mattered moves missed which happened to be on the games he lost on so I could see him take another victory if he just doesn't those unfortunate turns again. But the odds are more favoured to Laurel so I'm betting on them taking this week.

DPP OU: Le Don vs Lazuli
This is a fire-ass matchup where I can't really pinpoint what they would bring this week. Both are capable to showcase very flexible teams, but I think both of them are going to favor a more slow-paced types of teams that are probably going to be one of those close endgames where it could be a 50/50 or depending on the rolls if it kills or not an example. I do think Lazuli would have a slightly more chance to win because I think they're less prone to be tilted, whereas Le Don's mentality can somewhat crack if they don't get a good matchup or they got hit with one of those mattered hax turns and it can make him play worse at the endgame. If both try to bring offense, then it will be a crazy one since both of them could pull out all sorts of crazy techs. But I think it's more bulky offense or more balance/defensive teams where none of them are going to pull out HO or full stall against each other. Extremely excited to see this match since the last time they fought was a game that went kinda crazy af from early to the end game where Le Don won, so I'm hyped for this rematch.
DPP OU: Pideous vs JabbaTheGriffin
The most Modern DPP player vs a really old-school guy player. I think Pideous got this one and Jabba can't deadgame this game for sure, and subbing would definitely hurt them back unless they have a really good backup plan so I think Jabba is going to play this here. They've always a chance to win, but I feel like Pideous always builds the type of teams that really punishes old-school type of teams so I am very curious about what Jabba would bring to disrupt Pideous love of Starmie, Breloom, and Heatran(sometimes all of them in the same team :ooooo), and his whatever modern stall stuff he pulls out. After my game last week, I'm really wondering what they will be cooking for real. Pideous should take this one in a solid fashion anyway.

DPP OU: Stallion vs Skyrio
Idk who Skyrio in DPP is, so I'm just going to bet Stallion taking the game with the old-school techs. But those comments he made vs Le Don make me feel like Stallion's not only going to deal with haxrachi, but also Machamp somehow lol... Stallion may not have a fun game this week, I can see it :wo:
DPP OU: D4 Repertoire vs Susciety
Hype to see D4 back in this tier again. Though I'm really unsure if he can stop Susciety since Susciety has been doing well. But I don't Sus have any type of momentum to feel like it's impossible to stop him nor Susciety has made that many impressive plays overall so as long D4 brings a solid team against Susciety's reused teams, I think he has a strong chance to win here.


Anyone that wonders why I'm not playing this week is because I want to put full focus on my first week at my private school(I paid $4K for three subjects for computer engineering), but I'll be back next week since I have someone I gotta settle once and for all.
Some small comment vs Enzonana, I think my mid-late game was so shaky that I kinda shot myself at there. Those double para on Latias really let me guarantee the win(not including crits) there cuz not only do I have a huge chance to survive CC vs Scarf Lucario with Rachi, but Clefable was able to tank a hit guaranteed from Jolly Lucario if that was the nature.
