Pelipper as a counter

Pelipper @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
- Defog
- Scald
- Roost
- U-Turn

Pelipper can switch on every Piloswine's move because of its typing, high physical bulk, and access to Roost, and can easily KO Piloswine with Scald. Piloswine or the switch also risk the burn. Even if Pelipper doesn't like switching in on Stealth Rocks, it can remove them with Defog, and can also gain momentum on the possible Piloswine switch thanks to U-Turn.

252+ Atk Piloswine Icicle Spear (3 hits) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Pelipper: 84-102 (26 - 31.5%) -- approx. 7.2% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Torterra as a counter

Torterra @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake
- Synthesis
- Stealth Rock

Torterra is unaffected by Thunder Wave, so can act as a good status sponge. It is 3HKO'd by Psychic, though it carries Synthesis and can recover the damage taken, while Wood Hammer can OHKO Grumpig with little prior damage(easy to inflict as Grumpig lacks any recovery). Earthquake can also do that but Torterra will need more prior damage.

252+ SpA Grumpig Psychic vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Torterra: 144-171 (36.5 - 43.4%) -- 99.1% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Misdreavus @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 204 SpD / 56 Spe
Calm Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Misdreavus has a large chance to 2HKO Offensive Grumpig after Rocks without any investment. It can also Taunt Grumpig to block an incoming Thunder Wave, or Pain Split to recover its HP. Misdreavus also gets 4HKO'd by Grumpig, but lacks solid recovery so it can't completely counter Grumpig.

- Recover

252+ SpA Grumpig Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Duosion: 150-178 (44.9 - 53.2%) -- 32.8% chance to 2HKO

Togetic as a counter

Togetic @ Eviolite
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Dazzling Gleam
- Roost
- Baton Pass

Really any variant of Togetic can take on Grumpig, physically defensive or specially defensive, but NastyPass Togetic takes most advantage of Grumpig which is why I chose it. Togetic is 4HKOd at best, and it is able to Roost off any damage taken and set up on Grumpig to +6, either passing boosts or KOing Grumpig.

252+ SpA Grumpig Psychic vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Togetic: 81-96 (25.8 - 30.6%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Ninjask as a Check

Ninjask @ Choice Band
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Giga Drain
- U-turn
- X-Scissor
- Aerial Ace

While Ninjask cannot switch into Thunder Wave or Psychic obviously, Ninjask can switch into predicted Focus Blasts with ease and OHKO with either U-Turn or X-Scissor. Predicted Shadow Balls only do about 65% maximum to -SpDef nature Ninjask, so if necessary, Ninjask can force Grumpig out off of a Shadow Ball as well.

If Ninjask loses its Choice Band throughout the battle, it can still OHKO with either X-Scissor or U-Turn after Stealth Rock damage (X-Scissor is a guaranteed OHKO with SR and without CB, whereas U-Turn has a 62.5% chance to do the same).
252+ Atk Choice Band Ninjask U-turn vs. 160 HP / 0 Def Grumpig: 416-492 (121.9 - 144.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Beheeyem as a hard check

Beheeyem @ Choice Specs
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 8 Spe
Modest nature
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fighting] / Signal Beam
- Trick

Beheeyem switches into variants that have T-Wave with little fear of paralysis as the slow just increases the chance that it gets the Analytic damage boost. It is kind of afraid of Grumpig's that have Shadow Ball instead of T-Wave, as it has a 14.1% chance to 2HKO Beheeyem. On the upside though, even if Grumpig has Shadow Ball, if Beheeyem comes in on a free turn it can 2HKO with Thunderbolt or has a 56.3% chance to OHKO with Signal Beam, guaranteed after Stealth Rocks damage. Below are calcs for reference.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Beheeyem Thunderbolt vs. 160 HP / 0 SpD Grumpig: 188-222 (55.1 - 65.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Beheeyem Signal Beam vs. 160 HP / 0 SpD Grumpig: 316-372 (92.6 - 109%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Grumpig Shadow Ball vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Beheeyem: 156-184 (44.1 - 52.1%) -- 14.1% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Beheeyem Signal Beam vs. 160 HP / 0 SpD Grumpig: 316-372 (92.6 - 109%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Ursaring is a check

Ursaring @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Facade
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Protect

Ursaring is a good check to Grumpig. Max Speed Ursaring outspeeds Grumpig. This means that Ursaring has the option of using Guts. Guts boosted Facade from a poisoned Ursaring is a 1HKO, meaning that Ursaring is a viable check for Grumpig. 36 HP minimizes the chance of getting 1HKOed by Focus Blast. The problem with Ursaring is that it does get 1HKOed by Focus Blast 12.5% of the time, so it is hard to switch in. If Ursaring is switched in without dying, a Protect will activate Toxic Orb, letting Ursaring 1HKO Grumpig.
252 Atk Guts Ursaring Facade (140 BP) vs. 160 HP / 0 Def Grumpig: 487-574 (142.8 - 168.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Grumpig Focus Blast vs. 36 HP / 0 SpD Ursaring: 282-334 (85.4 - 101.2%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO

Grumpig as a strong check

Grumpig @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave

Grumpig can switch in on most Machoke moves, and thanks to Colbur Berry, it is also able to tank one Knock Off, though preferably it should not be switched into it, as Grumpig is able with OHKO Machoke only with some prior damage with Psychic. Because of that, most of the time it has to be brought in revengekill, though it is still a decent answer.
