Overview

- Respectable Speed tier before Mega Evolving, outspeeding Pokemon such as Jirachi, Celebi, and Hydreigon.
- After Mega evolving, it becomes faster than Azelf, Raikou, Mienshao, and other common Pokemon.
- The combination of No Guard, Flying STAB, and Pidgeot's high Special Attack make it one of the most threatening Hurricane users in UU.
- Above-average longevity, despite its Stealth Rock weakness, due to access to Roost.
- Limited (offensive) movepool, with its coverage being limited to Hurricane and Heat Wave, which make Pidgeot struggle getting past Electric- and Rock-type Pokemon.
- Decent defenses for an offensive Pokemon, but most strong hits still kill it nonetheless, factoring its below-average defensive typing. (could phrase this better IMO)

- Pidgeot's moveset is really small, so there's not really much to mention.
- Tailwind increases Pidgeot's sweeping potential against offense and allows it to support strong Pokemon such as Haxorus, allowing them to clean up with ease.
- Feather Dance is an interesting option too, allowing Pidgeot to go toe-to-toe against some fearsome physical attackers.
- Defog allows Pidgeot to remove hazards off the field, but that job is usually better left off for other Pokemon, such as Crobat, Empoleon, and Gligar.
