I have one question. You say B is a value defined prior to the suspect testing. Are the tier leaders defining this value by themselves? Can we have access to these values, such as the one being used in the Baton Pass Suspect Testing?

I'm asking this because I'd really like to be able to calculate how many battles I need to get reqs, and the only variable missing is B.

Edit: I think I've managed to calculate B from my own ladder rankings, so if for some reason you're not allowed to post it here, I don't mind.

No one consulted me for this particular suspect test, but it's certainly no secret: B=17

Closing this thread. COIL won out in the end, and we've been using it for months (though in a slightly different fashion than described in the OP).
