  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

SV: Floss vs yedla - maybe this is an upset? i am super high on yedla and i think he's the best french mono player / top 15 mono mainer rn. he's smart and i like smart ppl. he had a great game last week too. i like floss, even if my writeup on him may say otherwise. he theoretically should be the better player but i just think he isn't gonna respect him in-game and yedla is gonna take advantage of that somehow, someway.
SV: Xiri vs Sae - xiri had a shit mu last week but he didn't really play great. moltres being forced out by articuno was kinda crazy. sae has returned to mono tours, and is surprisingly playing cg. i didn't really pay much attention to his game last week but iirc he owned a fighting mirror with zama. that isn't really too telling to me, and im not exactly sure how much effort sae puts into this tour nowadays, specifically cg. xiri is theoretically better than sae at this point in time, and i do think xiri is really good at beating people who he "should" be better than. despite the performance last week, ill give this win to him
SV: Amukamara vs Chaitanya - the lotads have learned their lesson and shifted liam to sv before he never plays a mono tour again after playing the fairytale known as oras monotype. i guess people have finally learned their lesson after ip and accel never sign up for these tours anymore... anyway, despite chait saying he's washed (then again he calls himself the goat in the mono room so who knows), he is still really fucking good at mono even if he's been getting owned recently. i love liam, he's a great dude and great battler but chait in mono is still chait in mono. should be a good/close one tho. also fuck u @lotads for taking him from me
SV: Kev vs Starfox. - i did not watch kev's game much last week, only saw the mu. i don't know how people felt about this game / what dudes were saying but i would much rather have bd azu over tinkaton there, so i wont blame him too much for losing it. who knows if he played bad tho cause i am most definitely not watching that shit. i hardly watched starfox's game too but the [redacted] room was kind of telling enough. love starfox, he's a great dude that's motivated as hell and definitely puts in work but im not entirely sure if he's ready given his history this past wcop and blt. he definitely has the potential to be the next best thing though. with that being said, he needs more games under his belt to be in that conversation right now. this is close than what i make it seem, i favor kev's battling more but gengars sv building are better than the lotads. should be an interesting one
SS: tko vs Luisin - i did not watch all of tko's game last week but there were some crackhead turns which weren't too inspiring. even if he did play good though i would still predict luisin cause for some odd reason i think they're just gonna outprep the living hell out of them. i also don't know what to say here so, consider this fluffing
SM: blunder vs DAHLI - blunder had a good game from what i remember, though he did get lucky. that match up is rough to be fair and you do kinda have to get lucky to win that so whatever. dahli cooked last week, perhaps got lucky crashy didn't try to do stuff with his zam but regardless he still played that well. this game is as close as it gets so.. im going with my gut
ORAS: DugZa vs Star - this gen is so fucking shitty imma just bold dugza cause i (somehow) trust the lotads oras building more
BW: North vs Wait2Seconds - north had hazards vs no hazard removal in bw so we all know how that went. w2s faced the only stone edge heatran this decade so im not gonna blame him for losing that. he did bring bug though.. what the hell. this game is pretty close and im not entirely sure who to bold, so im gonna bold north just based off the premise that his opponent brought bug last week cause man that is triggering.

SV: Ewin vs kythr - i actually ranked kythr 2nd in sv (might have been OD but who knows). he farmed wcop with decem support, and imo he played those games super great. im higher on him than most, and he now has the same support here. what can go wrong, right? ill bold him every week.. probably
SV: maroon vs Ryuji - decem petty ass gonna spend 48 hours prepping this slot to make sure maroon loses i can FEEL it
SV: Dieu Amphibien vs mushamu - i have very little reason not to bold decem every week for the entire tour. although i probably would have bolded ewin/maroon vs him. not saying dieu is bad (i actually think he's good those newfound venezuelan genes gave him winning energy or something) its just one of those gut feelings that u think x player will win vs y
SS: dex vs Baloor - baloor's wcop game can't get off of my mind especially after he brought it up in mono cord. sorry, maybe next week
SM: crashy vs Mateeus - both looked pretty lost last week but crashy's track record is historically better than mat's so ill just go w him
ORAS: tier vs Toadow - tier beat star and apparently got absolutely toasted in his team cord hot damn. toadow had an unfavorable mu last week (still doable though) but his keldeo usage was relatively shitty. im going to bold toadow though, cause if i see 2-0 tier by the end of the week im gonna be upset cause where the FUCK was this last year fuck you tier i hope you get owned again
BW: Monai vs Gelbel3c - drilburs bw building = meloettas bw building/prep theoretically, but monai is supposed to be better i think?

SV: cpt.kraken vs Azick - idk how kraken's game went last week i just know wyvern choked or something so they won because of that. azick was probably always winning last weeks game cause goltres vs fire is a big lol so. nothing much to go off of here. azick is good though, even if he talks like he's a top 500 player in this community. ill give this to him. maybe this is his breakout tour who knows
SV: tMoi vs Meta - hate that one of these guys is gonna be 0-2 but oh well. anyways, tmoi inted really hard last week. the first sucker is understandable but spamming it vs a ghold that just recovered is such a red flag. i don't remember meta necessarily playing bad last week but after a certain point the game looked hard to lose for him so im not entirely sure what happened there. no way im opening up that replay to watch that though. anyway, im high on meta, tmoi farmed himself last week (sorry bro ur still the goat), -> i bold meta
SV: rs vs lax - cool game. fairies sv should theoretically have top 4 building in the tour so they have that going for them here. i like lax, he may claim he's washed but i still think he's really good. rs is good too, i did not watch their game last week cause long but im pretty sure it was good when i was skimming through it? lax was probably not ever gonna win that game last week so ill give him a pass. idk what to do here so.. gut
SV: Mihowk vs silver grace - mihowk hasn't been doing too hot this gen aside from the sv cup finish (idr where he finished but i just rmr it was high). silver grace won vs kev last week which is a pretty good win for him so good job.
SS: Quinn vs clean - quinn didn't calc steela eq vs heatran and got punished for it. should have won otherwise if he played it patiently. luckily though that's a pretty easy mistake to learn from so that probably doesn't happen for the rest of the tour. didn't pay much attention to clean's game but i don't think lando had defog? either that or he didn't click it to remove the screens. either way, both are red flags, quinn probably learned the lesson of "use the calc and practice patience" which is a pretty good lesson to learn. get the simple mistakes out the way early. cleans obviously capable of owning this pool; we've (probably) seen what he can do in official capacities. for now though, ill trust quinn more here. ill probably bold clean more often in the latter half of the tour
SM: Zap vs FatFighter2 - ironically enough, i would have bolded splash and zap if they stayed in sm and oras, respectively. i like that lineup more. anyway, long story short, fatfighter is gonna get ice vs flying or something. nothing can be done. consider that inevitable
ORAS: Splash vs Ashbala - i miss splash man im so glad he's back. he was malding in the mono cord in the middle of his game last week i think LOOOL you don't get that from ANY other player in this community. top 5 entertainer in this community for sure. anyway his game last week was could have been better but i won't blame him for losing that. yes, he probably should have won that but its like.. who df practices electric mirrors cause those never happen -> no1 gonna know how to play those. ill give him a pass there, i still think he's fine. ashbala won bug vs psy last week which doesn't really say anything about playing ability. splash is historically better though so ill bold him
BW: Gondra vs SoulWind - sw should be passed better teams as the tour progresses. w1 team was some nonsense, so im not bolding him here. in the latter half of the tour where the fairies (hopefully) know what they're doing in the bw building department ill consistently bold sw but for now ill give it to gondra
