Merging

I thought it would be neat if Smogon and Marriland forums joined forces. They are after all my two favorite pokemon sites and both have the same goals and such. I know this may take some time but I'll be floating the idea around both forums to see what people think. I for one think it would be a great idea for everyone to meet new friends and many different battle strategies.

I don't think it's possible.
Neither Marriland would want to join Smogon and Vice-versa.
Marriland is also more of a casual Pokemon site while Smogon is competitive.

Not happening. Marriland and Smogon are drastically different from each other. Hell, they even run different Forum systems! I could go on but, I'll just say it is not going to happen.

Just to elaborate on the above, but there is a lot, and I mean a lot of Smogon hate on other forums, especially casual ones
