Pros:
- Normal typing offers some interesting perks, such as guaranteed STAB on Tera Blast and a Ghost immunity
- Excellent special bulk
- High Sp. Attack stat, especially when backed by Calm Mind boosts
- Good movepool

Cons:
- Mediocre defensive typing
- Often struggles to fit in all of the moves it wants to run
- Base 90 speed isn't necessarily terrible, but it's not good either
- Low physical bulk
- No reliable recovery
- Pirouette Forme is incredibly awkward to use

Terastalizing Potential:
: Turns both of Meloetta's weaknesses into resistances, which is nice.
: Allows Meloetta to hit most Steel-types super-effectively without having to rely on Focus Blast, while also granting some important resistances.
: Grants reliable coverage for Steel-types, while also turning both of Meloetta's weaknesses into resistances. This does mean that you're going to have to crowbar in Shadow Ball for Gholdengo, though.
: Grants reliable coverage for Steel types, and also gives Meloetta an Electric immunity, which is nice.
: Shedding Meloetta's Psychic typing may come in handy sometimes, and not just for more powerful Hyper Voices.

This is the set I've been using on SubCM Meloetta recently. EV spread outspeeds offensive Great Tusk, and when you're Tera Fighting, Air Balloon / Lum Berry Kingambit's Sucker Punch with 1 Supreme Overlord boost won't break your Sub. I prefer Psyshock next to Tera Blast over Shadow Ball, but Ball isn't a bad option, either. With Psyshock, you have a better chance vs opposing CMers like Enamorus(-T), and with enough boosts, you'll muscle past Gholdengo anyway, which struggles to deal with you if you don't Tera since Make It Rain is all it can click, and especially if you're behind Sub vs Choiced variants. Psyshock is nice to smack Unaware Clodsire for a 2HKO, as well. I also prefer Tera Fighting to smack Kingambit, the arguable #1 mon in the tier rn, as well as mons like Garganacl pre-tera.

Speaking of Garg, this set completely sits on it. Pre-tera, it needs 2 Salt Cures to break Sub, and Tera Fighting means Salt Cure needs like 4 or 5 hits just to break Sub.

Teammates that can gain momentum for it like Chilly Reception GalarKing and U-turn users like Lando-T, Meowscarada, Cinderace, etc are excellent for Meloetta to come in much more easily. Dark-resists like Great Tusk (which can also spin hazards) and your own Kingambit are great to have pre-Tera Fighting.

Also shows a CM war vs Enamorus-T going my way even without Psyshock + some QC proc's getting annoying

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-1892578266-lkycj59rni3haee9yl0zqoiimw6jaeopw shows how much this set sits on Garg, also updated my team a bit to better support Melo, using CR Galarking for easier entry for example

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-1892585905-gvwbb4l438cf2eoopj6lj47u1u601ezpw demonstrates sucker punch not breaking sub, owning Kingambit

Cool mon imo
