Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Specify in the AAA LC PasteBin that due to AAA LC being a combination of the two when it comes to rules, the AAA rule on Baton Pass is a thing, thanks cutie (I think it's two per team, but I'm not completely sure on that.)
This team looks to overwhelm the opposition with a variety of powerful attackers so that Abra or Bagon can easily clean up. Remember that Porygon can trap Diglett on the revenge-kill, which is especially helpful for Abra.
Cubone @ Thick Club
Ability: Rock Head
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 196 Atk / 40 SpD / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Hidden Power [Ghost]
- Double-Edge
Diglett @ Berry Juice
Ability: Arena Trap
Level: 5
EVs: 116 HP / 156 SpD / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Substitute
- Thief
The goal here is to find the opportunity to get a Ledyba pass to Meditite or directly to Cubone or Clamperl, and sweep. Multiple possible sweepers are used to make it more difficult for the opponent to predict what's coming in.
Duskull @ Berry Juice
Ability: Levitate
Level: 5
EVs: 196 HP / 116 Def / 196 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Taunt
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp
- Memento
This team is based around rain offense, which is arguably the strongest weather strategy in ADV LC (although sun offense has its notable advantages). The given Horsea EVs allow it to beat Wailmer 1v1, which lets Kabuto have a field day. Sun teams are kept in check by offensive pressure.
Get Doduo and Snubbull in, and watch things die. Everything else is there to ensure that Doduo and Snubbull will have something to pivot to once they've taken something down.
I've also put in some sample sets for all the Pokemon ranked B- or over in the Viability Rankings.
After a relatively close vote, the ADV LC council has decided to ban Meditite.
Meditite is an extremely powerful wall-breaker thanks to its ability to obtain perfect neutral coverage with only two moves in its Fighting-type STAB and Shadow Ball. However, Hi Jump Kick is only 85 base power in gen 3, so Meditite is not significantly more powerful than other top tier wall-breakers, such as Doduo and Wailmer, and in fact could be argued to be somewhat less effective (but still very effective) at the role due to its lower Speed and bulk. What puts it a notch above the rest is its access to Bulk Up, which gives it an added layer of unpredictability and makes it significantly more difficult to revenge-kill; more importantly, its access to Baton Pass allows it to pass these boosts, which, when used in conjunction with Substitute, can turn traditional checks such as Duskull into set-up bait. This makes playing against Meditite a guessing game about whether it's a Baton Passing set or simply a traditional wall-breaker that will usually be extremely costly if guessed incorrectly, despite being almost risk-free for the Meditite user.
The viability rankings and sample teams will be updated shortly

Thank you friendos, it's great to be here. I just flew in and BOY AM I TIRED. I'll be here all week! But seriously, what we have planned currently is a suspect of doduo and putting in work recruiting members perhaps with a minitour.
