First thing that came into my mind when i saw the secret ingredient was that I wanted to build Hyper Offense. Haxorus is a lowkey threat in this new meta. Nidoking can really pressure most rockers in the tier and can pressure a few hazard clearers like empoleon.
I built this team with haxorus being the main wincon. With moldbreaker and great coverage options in Earthquak and Poison Jab, once it gets to +1 its hard to stop. You're going to have to use a faster scarfer(hydreigon, infernape etc). I went with scizor with Swords Dance and Quick attack as with +2, Quick attack can hit infernape very hard which is one of the few stops to Haxorus. With Superpower is hits defensive rotom-wash extremely hard. I'm running jolly with max speed to outspeed defensive rotom-wash. Scarf infernape helps bring some speed to the team and can help to stop Z-HH Jirachi which is a huge issue for the meta. Primarina with specs hits incredibly hard and provides nice defensive utility with its typing. Being able to switch into hydreigon and weavile. I chose M-beedril as my mega as it's a nice hit and runner and gets plenty of opportunities to set up toxic spikes.
One issue wish this team is the lack of hazard removal. Magnet rise+twave klefki can be an issue for this team as my main answer for it is infernape which is crippled by t-wave and nidoking's earth power is negated by magnet rise.

The essential Idea of the team is to provide the most Offensive Bulk possible while fitting the criteria for not only this weeks Iron Chef, but last weeks UU-Core project. The Core itself provides very good coverage within itself, the addition of Haxorus gives the core a much needed damage output and sweep potential. Gliscor and Togekiss provide some overkill in terms of bulk/walling.
This is (literally at it's core) a very Bulky Offensive team with since spice added in thanks to DD Haxorus.

This is a shedinja semi stall team, shedinja is my fav mon so I love making teams around it. Obviously since this is a shedinja team, I need a lot of insurance when it comes to hazards, Nidoking, Togekiss, and Blastoise all make up that insurance. In my opinion, Mega Blastoise is my fav spinner by miles, just hard to fit into a team because it needs that mega stone and their are so many amazing megas in UU right now. I actually love this team and I put a lot more thought into it than the last one, even though it didnt take long to make at all. Even if I go 0-5 again, i'll be happy knowing I got to use this team haha, it seems like it'll be a fun one to use.

Iron Chef Team 2 is here: Of Gods and Monsters. This team revolves around letting either Infernape or Flygon clean up shop in the lategame. For the zest of the challenge, the monsters here are Mega Blastoise and Nidoking, the latter being a surprise SR setter. Having a Nidoking show up almost always forces switches, which allows for free rocks to go up ontop of the hard hitting Sheer Force boosted moves. The Scizor is rather standard, a decent swap in to the likes of Mega Gardevoir and Mega Altaria, while being able to sword dance up and boost past possible burns while remaining as alive as possible with Roost. Hydreigon's there to punch through holes, and Flash Cannon is a decent lure to punish possible fairies from coming in, while Dark Pulse is all the STAB it really needs to break things. Lum Berry Flygon, like Lum Metagross before it, can eat up a status move and freely boost up, before using its semi powerful attacks to break through a weakened team.

So this team was actually one of my all time favorites ive ever built. This is my first time truly building hazard stack, and I quite enjoyed it.
I started off with the core of mega sceptile + klefki. Mega sceptile and klefki have a great synergy together defensively, as well as support wise. Mega sceptile really likes chip damage on mons aswell as having certain mons like scarfers and mega aero and mega bee thunder waved. As for why mega sceptile is physical, that was a hard decision I made. Mega sceptile, when used with a physical set, is an incredibly good stallbreaker. With dragon claw it 2hkos mandibuzz after rocks at +2 and it ohkos mega aero with a +2 leaf blade if its paralyzed. I also decided to make mega sceptile adamant, this was after a realization that jolly mega sceptile really only outspeeds scarfed chandelure and speed ties with mega bee, which I didnt want to risk anyways. Another reason mega scep is physical is too really emphasize the fact that its a MONSTER. Monsters aernt meant to just come in and pick up a cheeky kill, monsters are meant to rip apart teams. Special mega sceptile just didnt fulfill this roll in my mind.
The next mon is nidoking, my next monster. When I think of UU monsters nidoking is one of the first that pops up because of its great power and insane coverage. I decided to take the coverage of dual stab + ice beam so I could deal with gliscor and still do enough damage to deal with a lot of bulkier mons through the great coverage of ground + poison. Going along with the theme of hazard stack, I figured nidoking would also be a quite good offensive rocker for this team, and so far it has fulfilled the roll well since it forces switches easily. Next we have offensive rotom-wash. offensive rotom provides a ground immunity for klefki and nido aswell as provides amazing offensive coverage. It also provides another thunder-waver, which once again helps my first monster, sceptile. Scarf infernape is next, and although this was originally put into place for zhh jirachi, it is still an amazing scarfer that provides a good voltturn core with rotom that can gain the momentum this team needs, while also forcing switches to rack up the hazard damage.
And finally, we have the girl! Mismagius has always been on my radar when it comes to hazard stack Ho. UU doesnt have many options for rapid spin blockers, besides chandelure. I knew I needed another ground answer, aswell as another mon that could help vs stall, as mega scep might not cut it vs certain teams. Now lets talk about the set. This set is pulled strait from NU, and for good reason! a mismagius at +2 throwing off a z-shadow ball does A LOT of damage. dazzling gleam is there to deal with dark types such as mandibuzz, crawduant, and specsdreigon. Mismagius also can be quite effective vs stall, which is why I have taunt on this set. Although blissey can 1v1 mismagius, if it gets lured by sceptile that mon is out of the way anyways, and mismagius can 1v1 blissey if its not running toxic.

The secret ingredient this time was a problem for me, since i don't usually use these mons, maybe exept for aggron sometimes. I tried to build around it but couldn't find a decent result so i tried anything else, not in my style. I decided to build on an offensive volturn core, along with Sceptile and Nidoking. Rotom is the first pokemon i choose, for his great sinergy with the aforementioned mons. I choose a standard spdef set, which sucks but i really have some troubles with hydreigon, latias and gardevoir. I can check everyone of them in other ways but this was a safer one tho. For the evs i'm running enough speed for scizor/crawdaunt. Then i added hydreigon to complete my volturn core. Im just running the common scarf set, not much i can say about it. I was really needing something for weavile at this point and i choose scizor to fix this huge weakness. The bulky sd one, in order to check weavile, altaria, mamoswine and other mons like latias occasionally(hp fire is cool on scarf/z move+defog tho, so you need to scout the set a bit :|). Also uturn is cool to keep the momentum. As last i put tentacruel as removal, tspikes setter and cobalion/scizor check. In general is a pretty standard volturn, with sceptile/nidoking as momentum abusers. As last thought, i wanna just say that im not really happy with this team, since usually i prefer bulkiest builds and this one doesn't really fit this my playstyle.

CREATIVITY:
1. Euphonos - Ah, I've never seen someone using such sets before.
2. eht - Because he always build creative sets and never disappoint!
ESSENCE:
1. Hogg - He managed to use the secret ingredient very well as it served as an integral component to his team.
2. Euphonos - He takes advantage of the secret ingredient in order for his key Pokemon to shine.
Effectiveness:
1. Euphonos - Knowing this person, he doesn't bring out anything that wasn't truly effective in the first place, and this team is no exception; while having some creative touches, it translated to its effectiveness quite well!
2. pokemon sparrow - Don't be fooled with a team that was unaesthetically pleasing, it's just damn effective in what it does!
