How can I get started...

With competitive battling I mean. I've had D/P for a while, but quit last year because all the pokemon I had had awful IVs. How could I get started trading and breeding and stuff so I can get a competitive team up?

I didn't feel this thread belonged on the Wi-fi board, but I don't know where else to put it.

This isnt a good way to get started.


Do what I did, breed one decent poke, youll get some trades for it, and build from there.

Try looking around more than two seconds for information because 9 times out of 10 it's already posted. As for trading, that should be pretty straight forward. Look at some of the massive trade threads in WiFi, start breeding what people are looking for and trade for other pokemon.
