Safari Zone abuse
First, sorry for my bad english, I'll try to speak in a simple way
Prerequisites
-It's better use an emulator because the frame jumps a lot, and savestate can be a good friend
-RNG Reporter
-PokèRNG(to search for a spread)
-DPPT/HGSS Rom+Save File
-Maybe music because it can stop you from destroying your PC
***IMPORTANT:DPPT Safari Zone is DIFFERENT than the HGSS one, so I'll write 2 different ''methods''***
Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3 are the same for both, but after that it's different
Step for DPPT abuse will be of THIS COLOUR
Step for HGSS abuse will be of THIS COLOUR
Step 1
Save in the last steps before entering in the safari zone. Make sure you have enough money(xD), a synch in the first slot in your party(I don't know if it works every time, but in my experience it was very useful), and a sweet scenter/some honey
Step 2
Open RNG Reporter/PokèRNG for searching a spread
If you are trying to abuse on DPPT, it's better choose a spread with a frame over 20/30,on HGSS any spread will be fine(I've RNG'd Pokèmon with a frame of 4 on HGSS). Delay doesn't matter, just be sure to hit it (like always). Once you have the spread, put it in the seed to time box in RNG Reporter, find a date, put it in the windows clock (emulators use the windows clock for date/hours).
Step 3
Hit your date(year,mounth,hours,min,sec), making a savestate when the journal comes on (after pressed on ''continue''), catch a Pokèmon, check IVs, and verify your seed. If is the one of your spreads, go to the next step, if not, repeat this step.
Step 4(DPPT)
Enter in the Great Marsh as fast you can, and make a savestate in the first grass patch. Use Sweet Scent/Honey, catch the Pokèmon, and check its frame. If it's lower then that spread's frame, advance the frame using these ''tricks'':
-Close the menu, wait 1 or 2 seconds, then open again the menu, make a savestate, catch a Pokèmon and check the frame. It will higher then the first because of the NPCs.
-Use the journal, but the frame can advance more that 2 for every page
-Turn in grass patches, it will advance by 1 for each turn+X for NPCs.
Unfortunately, to hit your frame, you need a dose of hax, because there are a lot of NPCs which advance the frame. But it's possible, so don't lose hope. I've done my safari abuse while I was a semi-n00b.
On DPPT, there is the map of the slot (but without the daily binocular Pokèmon/After Nat. Dex Pokèmon)
Step 4(HGSS)
First, if you have blocks to have a specific Pokèmon you'll find the Pokèmon at 99%, because the most ''common'' slots (0-3 or around) have this Pokèmon. If not, just hit all your frame where the spreads is
Enter in the Safari Zone, go in the zone with the wanted Pokèmon, and make a savestate in a grass patch. Catch a Pokèmon, check on what frame you are on. HGSS Safari Zone doesn't have NPC's, so the frame will not jump like DPPT. Advance the frame calling Joey/Elm, turning in grass(but the frame advancement will be inconsistent; from 0 to 4).
Unfortunately, the slot here aren't mapped because they change when you change the object
Another type of abuse you can do in the Safari Zone and Great Marsh
Of course you can do fishing abuse, but in this case the frame will jump more than normal.
I've done 2 fishing abuses in DPPT(a Gyara and a Carvanha), I was on frame 19, then it jumped to 43, so be careful
