formerly The Reptile
Yeah I don't think Tain is OP all, especially with PDon (who is probably still a meta defining threat like it always is) running round in this meta and even POgre (kind of) and Mega RayRay.

Something interesting is that Piloswine becomes bulkier than Mamoswine before the Eviolite.

130/130/110/90/90/80 ~~~ 120/140/90/80/70/90

Piloswine looks like it could be a pretty good mon imho - its decently strong with base 130 attack, and stupid bulk with 130/110/90 before eviolite. Sadly it lacks reliable recovery and it typing is only good for offense, but it should be a good bulkmon I think.

other NFEs that could be good (and how they compare to their FE counterparts)

85/125/85/65/105/145 ~~~ 80/130/75/55/95/135

Both of them are comparable, since I think they both have the same movepool (or at least the important moves). Sneasel is bulkier and faster, and only trades a bit of power for it. Meanwhile Weavile is frailer (not by much) and only a tad slower, and it boasts a higher attack (again, very minimal). I'd probably use Sneasel over Weavile most of the time, since the slight power boost isn't enough to compensate for Sneasel's ridiculous speed of 145 (although 135 is also good). Sneasel also has more item variety, as it could technically use an Eviolite if it so desired.

100/140/110/85/110/135 ~~~ 70/150/140/65/100/75

Yes, Scyther gets compared to Mega Scizor, because a) the only viable Scizor I can see is M-Scizor and b) Scyther's stats are that crazy. Scyther just has it all - bulk, power, and speed. It even has a solid movepool and ability. The only thing holding it back is its abysmal typing of Bug / Flying. Still, its 100/110/110 stats are stupid bulky, and its offensive spread of 140/85/135 is nothing to scoff at either. I just wanted to talk about Scyther, honestly. Scizor and Scyther aren't actually comparably, as they do different things.

135/160/150/75/75/70 ~~~ 135/160/150/75/75/60

Unless Solid Rock is a big enough problem for you (which, honestly, it should if you don't plan on using Eviolite on Rhydon, as it is a very solid ability), use Rhydon all the time. They have the same exact stats except that Rhydon is faster, except Rhydon can hold an eviolite, thus making it even more bulky. 135/150/75 is absolutely ridiculous on the physical side and respectable on the special side. This thing is a monster - bring something with Water- or Grass-types attacks.

65/85/70/80/80/110 ~~~ 90/120/85/120/110/140

Look, Pikachu has some speed now! Pikachu now hits like a truck and has a respectable 110 speed, along with changing from paper-thin defenses to cardboard bulk! It doesn't mean too much, honestly. Meanwhile Raichu actually has some semi-respeciable bulk. It's not too powerful, but it is blitzing around the game with its 140 speed. What makes both of these electric rodents is there wonky movepools due to Pikachu getting a lot of moves. Sadly it can't use most of these in combination, but hey at least it has them I guess.

98/105/83/113/143/90 ~~~ 100/110/80/120/160/90

That is one specially defensive dragon. There really isn't a reason to use Goodra honestly (again, unless you drop Eviolite) - Sliggoo is also cuter. Its huge special defense lets it wall special rain threats that might be running around. However, I don't actually see it replacing Latias, who I think is overall better thanks to Soul Dew.

theres probably some other ones I missed too, but yea. NFE's can be strong in this meta.

Just putting this out there, but Gurdurr all but completely eclipses its evolution now.

115/135/115/70/80/70

vs.

105/140/95/55/65/45

Poor Conkeldurr. Gurdurr has slightly less power but more than makes up for it with its superior bulk, bolstered by the fact that it can hold Eviolite.

Anyway, here are a couple more offensive threats that are inevitably gonna start popping up:

105/155/105/60/105/115

Sawk's just going to be ridiculous in this meta. A massive 155 base attack stat, coupled with solid 105/105/105 bulk and a great speed tier. Jolly + Choice Band is going to demolish everything in sight.

In fact, I just calced it... this thing can beat Lugia 1v1. Yes, you heard right.

252 Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Sawk Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Lugia: 224-264 (53.8 - 63.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Lugia Aeroblast vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Sawk: 188-224 (53.4 - 63.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

95/80/65/145/125/125

It's still not going to want to take physical hits, but 95/125 special defense ain't too shabby for a sweeper. Also, dat 125 base speed.

And this one isn't really an offensive threat, but I just wanted to point out that...

125/110/135/70/100/130

Miltank is now faster than Greninja. Let that sink in.

Weezing was already a decent physical wall in NU, but in this tier it's just absurdly bulky. How bulky, you ask?

Accentuating this is the fact that it effectively only has one weakness. Its lack of reliable recovery still hurts it, though.

Like Weezing, it doesn't have any reliable recovery, so it probably won't do so hot as a straight up wall. However, it DOES have a very large support movepool, so it'll do fine as a hazard/ dual screen setter.

I'm sure everyone is thinking it, but I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Quagsire yet:

(NU +30)
[125 / 115 / 115 / 95 / 95 / 65], BST: 610

Yep, you saw that right, 125/115/95 bulk backed up by an amazing typing with an uncommon weakness and an amazing ability in Unaware. This thing stops almost all set-up sweepers (and even some wallbreakers) in their tracks, soaking up unbelievably strong attacks such as:

252 Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 159-189 (35 - 41.6%)
252+ Atk Life Orb Kabutops Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire in Rain: 199-235 (43.8 - 51.7%)
252+ Atk Huge Power Mega Mawile Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 181-214 (39.8 - 47.1%)
252+ Atk Primal Groudon Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 180-213 (39.6 - 46.9%)
252+ Atk Life Orb Rayquaza Dragon Ascent vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 204-242 (44.9 - 53.3%)

And those are the stronger sweepers that can basically nuke without even setting up! If you've only got Arceus-level power (lol) and you hit like a weenie unboosted, Quagsire just laughs at your pathetic attempts at damaging it:

252+ Atk Life Orb Arceus Extreme Speed vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 117-138 (25.7 - 30.3%)

In addition, Quagsire's combination of typing and bulk allow it to take on all Rampardos bar HP Grass versions, which is certainly a massive plus.
Quagsire will probably be a top threat here.

I'd like to consider a Eviolite suspect once this is playable somewhere.

Snaquaza any chance you can host on Aqua? Piccolo Daimao was nice enough to code for us. :3 Also, does anyone know who to ask to host on EOS?
Somehow I knew I was gonna get asked to implement this.

Anyway done, I'm up for implementing any variation metagame since 99% of the time I'm probably able to code them myself as well.

I might take the bulky offensive route.

Throh: 150 / 130 / 115 / 60 / 115 / 75

This particular Mon, has received bulk that's almost similar to that of giratina. While also having access to Guts AND Mold Breaker. Guts making it into an amazing status absorber, can effectively abuse RestTalk w/bulk up or Use sleep talk to just completely screw over mons like Darkrai or any sleep inducer. While a added bonus(imo to all guts user) don't give two shits about being burn by quaggod. Mold breaker just ensures its bulk up don't go to waste. Since 150/115/115 is solid bulk for a fighting type. Something like, Bulk up/Storm throw/Knock off/Rest. Fairy types obviously don't GAF what throh's is running. But that can be patched up by the other team members.

Something I've picked up. But was only able to use it once. Due to not much people playing it.

You should probably know him well from regular Tier Shift. Except it's even better there. It can survive outright ridiculous hits such as
252 Atk Choice Band Scyther U-turn vs. 28 HP / 228 Def Wobbuffet: 320-378 (54.4 - 64.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 28 HP / 252+ SpD Wobbuffet: 304-359 (51.7 - 61%) -- 93.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Sheer Force Mega Camerupt Fire Blast vs. 28 HP / 252+ SpD Wobbuffet: 240-283 (40.8 - 48.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

and fire back with Counter/Mirror Coat, or encoring the mon in order to ensure a setup opportunity to a teammate. Might be worth looking into, I have a bad feeling about it.

Xatu: 95/105/100/125/100/125

Free magic bounce user with very good movepool&stats to have utility in both defensive & offensive teams.
125 Speed allows it to even outspeed most of its switches & just U-Turn safely after ( Unless said threats have Pursuit )
95/100/100 is close to Mew's bulk so it can definitly walls a bunch of threats.
125 Spa allows it to hit decently hard with its good coverage, featuring Grass Knot & Giga Drain, Heat Wave, STABs, and HP.
Xatu can even CM BP if it feels like it. Really, this mon has everything.

Dusknoir: 75/130/165/65/165/75

Dusknoir could be a potent spinblocker on both Offensive & Defensive teams.
Its most well known set, Choice Band Trick, might work as well here, and now with 130 Attack, it won't have much trouble killing these spinners, or even dealing good damage to them with Pursuit. He still lacks a good stab too ;_;
On the other hand, 75/165/164 is really good & he packs much more offensive pressure ( & more specified one ) than his little brother dusclops, i'd still use Cofagrigus but the superior Special Bulk, offense & even speed ( in case you run Taunt Noir ) can be enjoyable.

This set would make it a fearsome wallbreaker.
Rampardos@Life Orb
252 SpA, 106 Attk, 150 Spe-Rash
Head Smash
Thunder
Ice Beam
Earthquake/Surf/Fire Blast/Crunch, etc

This set works effectively on a rain team.
Look at the calcs.

106 Atk Life Orb Rampardos Head Smash vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Giratina: 243-289 (48.3 - 57.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

106 Atk Life Orb Rampardos Head Smash vs. 252 HP /252+ Def Mega Audino: 211-250 (46.8 - 55.5%) --guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

252+ SpA Life Orb Rampardos Surf vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Rhydon: 265-312 (55.9 - 65.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

106 Atk Life Orb Rampardos Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Multiscale Lugia: 242-285 (58.1 - 68.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ SpA Life Orb Rampardos Thunder vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Lugia: 161-190 (38.7 -45.6%) -- 80.9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

And head smash downright ohkos if its multiscale is broken, regardless if rocks are on the field.
So as you can see, this thing 2hkos the buffest walls in this metagame.

Does your set have Mold Breaker or Sheer Force? Mold Breaker should ignore Multiscale, and Sheer Force should have a more powerful Thunder/Ice Beam.

It's Sheer Force, but even then Thunder's BP is only 143, and that's coming off his (even in extreme tier shift) laughable SpA.

Ok, So Flareon can actually do stuff now!

This fiery cat is a decently bulky special wall with 95/90/140 bulk.
It also gains a solid special attack stat of 115 and a way better 160 Attack stat plus guts?
I would say this thing would be a great partner for quagsire, which respectably resists all weaknesses but ground.
It also has a great support moveset in wish, Will-O-Wisp, Baton Pass, Flare Blitz, substitute and roar,(protect and detect) and Heal bell which are basically all you need.

So here's an adrian-esque moveset!

Flareon @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
252 HP / 4 Atk(Or 4 SpA) / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Will-O-Wisp/Toxic
- Flare Blitz/ Superpower / Heal Bell / HP Grass

Basically, It's Decent HP stat allows for it to heal crippled sweepers and/or wall w/o reliable recovery , it can also abuse heal bell to bring burned pokemon back into the game and call
It can also cripple a kabutops on the switch in with will-o-burn and then wish pass to another teammate or HP grass on switch in and wreck it.

Also, Ludicolo destroys half the counters TEG put up for rain...

252+ SpA Life Orb Ludicolo Giga Drain vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Primal Kyogre: 205-244 (59.9 - 71.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

I mean, look at that! That's against a pokemon with 160 Special Defense. So i think it's all Pogre now...

Can we just take a moment to talk about how awesome Marowak is going to be?

90/110/140/80/110/75

So now it actually has some survivability, with solid 90/140/110 bulk and an okay-ish speed stat. But those are just the appetizers to Marowak's main course of God like, soul crushing power.

So the Thick Club is effectively a Huge Power boost in item form, right? Well, with that item equipped, Marowak hits a staggering effective attack stat of 700. More than Mega Mawile.

To put that in perspective, Diggersby's max attack stat is 232, which, with Huge Power factored in, effectively becomes 464. A Choice Band beefs that up to 696.

It's slightly stronger than Choice Band Diggersby. And bulkier. And not choice locked.

Still not convinced? Check this shit out:

252+ Atk Thick Club Marowak Bonemerang (2 hits) vs. 252 HP / 56+ Def Primal Groudon: 372-444 (92 - 109.9%) -- approx. 62.5% chance to OHKO

252+ Atk Thick Club Marowak Bonemerang (2 hits) vs. 248 HP / 248+ Def Primal Groudon: 336-396 (83.3 - 98.2%) -- approx. 75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Yeah.

Oh, and did I mention that it can learn Swords Dance?
