This set allows Copperajah to act as a strong tank that can check Indeedee, Escavalier, and Flapple while potentially setting up Stealth Rock. It is very versatile so the moveset depends on the rest of the team, but the combination of coverage listed ensures it doesn't lose to would-be checks such as Centiskorch or Charizard. Power Whip can be used if Stealth Rock isn't needed, to hit Rhydon, Gastrodon, and Jellicent. Occa Berry coupled with Stone Edge allows Copperajah to beat all Fire-types in the tier, while Choice Band allows it to be a wallbreaker and Assault Vest solidifies it as a check to Indeedee. Superpower allows Copperajah to hit Snorlax and Steelix harder, so it can be a good option if needed. The EV spread allows it to outspeed base 40s such as Rhydon, but an alternate spread of 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe will allow it to outspeed base 50s, most notable Vileplume.
Copperajah appreciates U-turn, Parting Shot, and Volt Switch from teammates so it can be safely switched into, which makes Rotom formes, Passimian, Silvally, and Flapple to be good teammates on offensive teams. On more defensive teams, Aromatisse can Wish pass seeing as Copperajah lacks reliable recovery. If opting to not run Occa Berry, Gastrodon can make for a good pair as it can beat Salazzle and Charizard outside the sun. Sableye can also synergize well as it can beat Bewear and serve as a good check to Virizion and Passimian.
