new move: Ice Spinner
Ice-type physical attack
80 BP / 100% acc / 24 PP
Ends the effects of terrain upon use

new weather: Snow
A rework of Hail, provides a 50% Defense boost to Ice-types when active though removes the 6.25% chip damage against all non-Ice-types. All abilities that previously worked with Hail work with Snow.

pros:
- One of only two Slush Rush Pokemon currently in the game, the other being Beartic.
- A respectable Speed stat of 73 for Slush Rush antics while boasting a solid 113 Attack stat.
- Incredible HP stat which provides it pretty solid bulk despite meager defenses, particularly with the new weather snow boosting its Defense. Eat your heart out Wailord.
- Ice is a solid offensive type, and Cetitan has reliable STAB in Ice Spinner and priority in Ice Shard.
- Solid coverage options in Earthquake, Superpower, Heavy Slam, and Liquidation.
- Potentially dangerous Belly Drum sweeper with Slush Rush and Ice Shard.
- Thick Fat and Sheer Force are also solid abilities though they will likely not see much use in OU.

cons:
- Middling Speed stat outside of snow, and is quite reliant on snow.
- Ice is still a poor defensive typing, with a weakness to Stealth Rock that can give it hard time switching in.
- No way to bolster its Attack outside of Belly Drum and Choice Band.
- Pokemon can Tera into a type that resists either Ice or its other coverage to dumbfound Cetitan, which can dwindle its effectiveness.

terastal potential:
- Cetitan is most interested in using Terastal to shed its poor defensive typing, particularly if it wishes to come in a battle multiple times.
- Ground Tera-type boosts the power of Earthquake while making it resistant to Stealth Rock next time it switches in as a snow wallbreaker, with added benefit of immunity to Thunder Wave.
- Steel Tera-type provides the single-best defensive type in the game, resistant to Steel and Rock, and boosts power of Heavy Slam.
- Water Tera-type is useful to turn the weaknesses to Fire and Steel into resistances, while also providing neutrality against Rock and Fighting and boosting the power of Liquidation. Lets it better take on Palafin and its Jet Punch.
- Terastal into Ice is always an option to bolster the power of Cetitan's STABs further.

potential sets:

choice band
Cetitan @ Choice Band
Ability: Slush Rush
Tera Type: Ground / Steel / Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ice Spinner
- Earthquake
- Superpower
- Heavy Slam / Liquidation / Ice Shard

Probably the most straightforward set for snow teams. Set up snow, pivot Cetitan in, can do both at once if you pair it with Chilly Reception Slowking, and just let it wreak havoc. Ice Spinner and Earthquake provide very complementary coverage with each other, with the other two moves being up to your customization. Cetitan can definitely Tera out of bad matchups just to continue its Slush Rush onslaught, with Ground, Steel, and Water being solid options. Absolutely needs a hail setter like Abomasnow or Slowking though, with Abomasnow able to provide immediate and guaranteed hail while Slowking provides hail as it pivots in and heals itself with Regenerator, as well as any hazard removal such as Rapid Spin from Iron Treads or Great Tusk.

belly drum
Cetitan @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Slush Rush
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 30 HP
- Belly Drum
- Ice Spinner
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard

Very scary set that can end games on the spot but does require a lot of support. Wants snow up as it activates Slush Rush and boosts its Defense, also greatly appreciates Aurora Veil / Screens and Rapid Spin / Defog support to ensure best set up conditions, or alternatively Shed Tail if that doesn't get banned immediately. Best Tera type for this set is probably Ice just to boost your STABs even more, particularly Ice Shard which can catch faster mons or mons that try to use a priority move. EVs can be customized as Cetitan can trade some of the Attack for better bulk in better aiding its Belly Drum setup. This set wants Pokemon with Unaware like Dodonzo and Skeledirge gone as well as Slowbro since +6 Earthquake does not OHKO it, so teammates like Gholdengo can help remove them.

overall:
Given the current instability in the meta with the Tera mechanic and all the Legendaries roaming around, Paradox forms included, snow teams are quite tough to use. However once the meta settles down, its very probable that snow will surge in viability given that the many of the threats right now are hostile to the current setters in Abomasnow and Slowking, and when that happens, Cetitan, perhaps alongside Beartic, will have a solid fixture in the OU meta. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if this Pokemon gets suspected later down the line for how easy its Belly Drum set is to set up.

I have been running the BD set with a Babiri Berry to help beat Scizor and it annilhates teams without Dondozo.

It also has great potential terrastalizing such as Electric type to help break through certain pokemon. Ice+Electric give it almost perfect coverage.
