Currently a large portion of the threads in the articles section of C&C are not actually articles, they are calculators of some kind, downloadable spreadsheets with metagame info, links to breeding chain finders and the like. These are quite different from articles, and often get lost amongst them. I understand that currently Smogon does not put these resources on site, however they are very useful and, I think, should be put in a somewhat prominent position on Smogon and encouraged.

Advantages for Smogon:
Better organisation, tools are easier to find, articles are kept separate from programs.

I think it's a good idea as well. It'll make the C&C forum more organized.

People would appreciate this, as often users dont like to rifle through a relatively alien subforum to those who do not take part in CC. Having it on site would increase the accessibility by a mile, and should probably be taken into consideration if this is not much of a hassle
