Zacian @ Fairy Memory
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Multi-Attack
- V-create
- Fishious Rend
- Swords Dance
A new dog has announced itself in the Balanced Hackmons metagame! Zacian has become one of the most prominent late-game sweepers in BH. It sets itself apart from other sweepers with its excellent bulk, Speed, and typing. With these outstanding traits, Zacian is able to force out or set up on many of the metagame's most common threats, such as Xerneas, Groudon, and Zamazenta-C, all of which it OHKOes after a boost. Its potent combination of Fairy-, Fire-, and Water-type coverage is very unique and devastating in BH since it’s able to hit the prominent Dragon-types Giratina, Palkia, and Eternatus, the ever-present Steel-types Zamazenta-C and Celesteela that counter other Fairy-type Pokemon, and the Primordial Sea Steel-types that are meant to specifically beat Fairy + Fire coverage. Since Zacian operates best as a late-game sweeper, it really appreciates being paired with strong physical attackers such as Poison Heal Regigigas and Desolate Land Ho-Oh to wear down its potential checks.
