Im a mexican player, I have been playing like two year. I have played an Hispanic World Cup of this year. I have a decent level in BW and ADV OU but i want to improve. Im actually a member of Death Reapers an hispanic clan. I want to improve because in some battle i made stupid moves of cause of my inexperience. So I want to improve, but i know that i wont get a miracle.

Tell us a little about yourself: I am a pretty driven student academically in general. I'm currently a senior in IB (International Baccalaureate), if that tells you anything (if not, it means I'm taking exclusively college-level courses). In my couple of spare seconds I scrape together, I enjoy Pokemon, a wide variety of extracurriculars, ranging from robotics to latin, and hanging with friends.

As far as what I'd like to learn, I have the basics pretty well pinned down, but would love some help with advanced teambuilding, risk management/predictions, and (for ADV) a crash course in the meta. I'd also love to become more involved in the Smogon community.

I picked up ADV awhile back and have gotten pretty decent at it, but I'm having some trouble adjusting to BW, mainly the team-building aspect.

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a Michigan Smogoner, like many of the members here are (which is kinda ironic how many pokemon battlers Michigan has lol) as well as a freshman in High School. I take every advance class available to me, and with these advanced classes i'm a 3.7 student at the moment. I am the swim captain at my local YMCA, as well as recently took a lifeguarding class and now have a job at the YMCA. Seeing as I'm the youngest one in a lot of situations (lifeguarding class and quite young in the pokemon community, although, windsong buddy has got me beat :p), I think I'll be able to take that to my advantage and become an expert once I'm as old as most of these people here lol :p. I'm getting some of why they work, and that's turning into some ladder success, but I'd like to get to the point where I'm not netdecking any more.

Tell us a little about yourself: Well, I've been playing pokemon competitviely for about a year now, In that time I managed to get a decent grasp of gen4 and was starting to get quite good at it when gen5 came out. I was tutored by Mekkah for while and he did a pretty damn good job of brining me from a noob to somebody who could battle competently- so I realise it's a bit greedy asking to be tutored again, but I'm really struggling with the transition to gen5. Outside of the forums, well I love playing sports- except cricket, cricket is gay. But yeh I do football, rugby, rowing, a bit of tennis and I'm a mad Arsenal fan. I also enjoy art in my free time, I do some stuff for the Smog when I have the time although traditional art is my preferred medium over digital. That's pretty much it really, I've never really had any problems with getting on with people- except seven deadly cocks...I joke.

Tell us a little about yourself: I started battling mid summer 2010 when Salamence was just getting banned and I've never really settled into the OU metagame. I've recently hit a block and I can't seem to grow as a player anymore - I suspect due to my poor knowledge about the metagame.

Outside of the internet, my hobbies include cycling, squash, badminton, casual football (or soccer...), and I have on occasion done some stand-up comedy at a local bar which I really enjoyed. I consider myself easy to get along with and good company to boot.

What tier do I want to learn? I would be interested in learning really any metagame, but I really need to polish up my BW OU game so I don't embarass myself as badly as before. That being said, I could stand to learn about VGC 2011, BW LC, BW Ubers, Gens 3-4 stuff, or whatever.
A little about myself? Uses startling and disruptive moves. Seriously, I like to think of myself as a fast learner I never seems to make it in time for tournaments I like or the tutoring program. T_T I am always willing to learn new things. I honestly never knew that people played Pokémon in the Internet until last year. I poked around, looking for things to use at the Emerald Battle Frontier. After the last school year was over, I got somewhat bored and registered for Smogon to play on Shoddy Battle. My first real competitive environment was the time just after Latias got banned from OU and Salamence was being looked at. This was kind of a minor time-killer until Smogon decided to make a PO server. I still try not to take myself too seriously, even though I catch myself from time to time.

I realize that I am rather late to the party, but I wanted to get this little profile out there. Here's to looking forward to the next tutor program, I guess.
