Just gonna put it out that I feel that Team Options could do with some more work. The offensive sets should list some teammates that help it offensively rather than just defensively; everything there is defensive synergy atm and it's an offensive set, so there should at least be some mentions of Pokemon that work well offensively. Same thing with the SpD set; it's strange that you only brush over Pokemon with good defensive synergy on a defensive set o.o

For reference I'm thinking about those that help it break / wear down Steel-types and bulky walls like Lickilicky / Avalugg. I trust that you can fill that one in.

tl;dr: add pokemon that share good offensive synergy to the offensive sets, and add pokemon that share good defensive synergy to the defensive sets
reminder to do this

the offensive teammates for DD are fine but you'll need to add offensive teammates for Specs too

regarding SpDef, I discussed with Montsegur and Magnemite (iirc it was them) and they were fine with dropping Flamethrower to Moves, so put it there.

Also, you need to list more effective teammates with good defensive synergy. Arbok doesn't offer much defensive synergy for Altaria. Try and put teammates like Poliwrath which beats opponents like Rock-types and Avalugg while Altaria beats Grass-types for it.

done x_x I honestly don't know what more I can do, I already listed Poliwrath and Avalugg

EDIT: Added more stuff with help from Montsegur

CHOICE SPECS

Team Options:
- o god don't list Wormadam-Trash
- Might wanna mention that Steels are cool teammates because they wall most of the Fairies and force them out
- Garbodor doesn't really have "great offense" as an important trait so cut that part

DRAGON DANCE

Set Details:
- Fix the wording when talking about stuff it outspeeds, instead of "letting to" maybe say stuff like "as well as getting past..." (don't want to risk an error in meaning when it gets GPed)

Team Options:
- When talking about Poliwrath also mention Sneasel and Piloswine as important mons it beats!
- Ninetales and Flareon don't exactly take on the Ice Shard users very well unfortunately (they can't really switch into Sneasel / Piloswine). Maybe say that they whittle down Steels and bulky walls

SPDEF

Usage Tips:
- You could pork it up a bit by saying it can absorb status pretty well. It looks kinda empty otherwise :(

+ implement everything we discussed on irc :)

Overview

########

Altaria is a versatile Pokemon with its moves allowing it to run multiple sets. The Dragon / Flying typing is decent offensively, however it makes Altaria 4x weak to Ice-type attacks from Pokemon such as Sneasel and Avalugg. Altaria has nice defensive stats and reliable coverage due to having access from Steel-, Fire-, and Ground-type moves. Altaria's ability, Natural Cure, keeps it healthy when switching out and makes it one of the few Pokemon that can utilize Rest to sponge status such as poison and paralysis. Unfortunately, Altaria is weak to Stealth Rock with its Flying-typing and has no access to Defog and although Altaria has a range of different type attacks, it has modest offensive stats and speed to use them with.

Choice Specs

########

Name: Choice Specs

Move 1: Draco Meteor

Move 2: Fire Blast

Move 3: Hidden Power Ground / Dragon Pulse

Move 4: Rest

Ability: Natural Cure

Item: Choice Specs

Evs: 120 HP / 252 SpA / 136 Spe

Nature: Modest

Moves

========

Draco Meteor, combined with the Choice Specs to do immense damage and hit multiple many Pokemon hard if not OHKOed. Fire Blast allows Altaria to hit Steel-type Pokemon such as Metang and Klang. Hidden Power Ground is to do hard damage to Bastiodon as it can easily take Draco Meteor and Fire Blast. Dragon Pulse can be used as an option instead as ; its a powerful and reliable Dragon STAB which doesn't force you to switch with Special Attack drops and is good for cleaning up. Rest is to keep Altaria healthy from status and its HP high. so Alllowing it can to come back in later on in the battle. with Altaria awake again due to Natural Cure.

Set Details

========

Choice Specs combined with the Modest nature is so that Altaria is doing allows Altaria to do the maximum amount of damage possible and hitting most Pokemon hard. The 252 Special Attack EVs allow Altaria to peak the amount of Special Attack possible. The Speed EVs allow Altaria to outspeed everything that has a max Speed base of 65 such as Glaceon, Flareon, and Heatmor. The EVs which haven't already gone towards Speed and Special Attack already go to HP to preserve the bulk when switching in and taking hits.

Usage Tips

========

You want to try and preserve Altaria throughout the match and give it as many free switch ins as possible . Draco Meteor OHKOs most offensive Pokemon and still does a good amount to Pokemon which resist and have no access to recovery. When bringing in Altaria, you'll have to be cautious of Stealth Rock as they it can slowly wither away Altaria's health each time and you want to make sure it has enough to either dish out a hard hit or Rest and proceed to switch. Altaria is also being locked into one move so be careful with which one you pick. If you see a Fairy-type, don't spam Draco Meteor; hit once and proceed to switch or just make the double switch into another team mate. Be cautious when using Rest. Bring Altaria in to use Rest and then switch out straight away due to being locked in a rest from the Choice Specs; this can be done against Water-types and Grass-types such as Gourgeist, Mantine, Pelipper and most Tangela which can barely get do damage off against Altaria. Draco Meteor should be used when it's ensured that predictable switches such as Bastiodon and Metang are removed from the opposing team and that the opposing Pokemon can't take a hit and have some form of recovery to get their HP back. Dragon Pulse is for spamming when Altaria is assured to clean up the rest of the battle without having to switch out again.

Team Options

========

Altaria appreciates support from Steel-type Pokemon as the because they beat Fairy-types and force them out. Pokemon such as Metang, and Klang which resist Rock-type, Fairy-type, Dragon-type, and Ice-type moves; all of Altaria weaknesses, are great partners. Stealth Rock users such as, Golem and Piloswine, and Spikes users such as, Roselia and Garbodor, allow the stack of hazards to ensure Altaria can finish the Pokemon with either an OHKO or 2HKO. With Stealth Rock, Hidden Power Ground is a guaranteed 2HKO on Bastiodon and Draco Meteor is ensured an OHKO on Garbodor. Without the Stealth Rocks it's also a 3HKO on Throh rather than a chance of 2 instead. Spinblockers to avoid those hazards, such as Misdreavus, are also appreciated. Pokemon such as Avalugg and Wartortle are useful in getting rid of Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin due to because Altaria is constantly switching out and coming back in; a Defog user such as Swanna can be used but keep in mind your hazards will be removed too. Poliwrath can switch in on Sneasel or Piloswine which that plan on revenge killing Altaria after it finishes off a Pokemon with a strong attack. Altaria can take Fire-type attacks aimed at Roselia and Gourgeist and Grass- and Ground-type attacks aimed at Stunfisk. Zebstrika appreciates Altaria as a team mate teammate due to its only weakness being Ground-type moves and Altaria having a immunity to ground type attacks.

Dragon Dance

########

Name: Dragon Dance

Move 1: Dragon Dance

Move 2: Dragon Claw / Outrage

Move 3: Earthquake

Move 4: Roost / Iron Tail / Substitute

Ability: Natural Cure

Item: Leftovers / Life Orb

Evs: 64 HP / 252 Atk / 192 Spe

Nature: Adamant

Moves

========

Dragon Dance allows Altaria to set up its Attack and Speed to then do hopefully perform a late-game sweep. Dragon Claw is the most reliable physical Dragon STAB which doesn't force you to get locked into a move unlike Outrage. which Outrage can be used as an option due to having more power however you'll have to be much more careful when using it. Earthquake is for hitting Bastiodon which who can easily take Dragon-type attacks; it also hits Garbodor without taking damage from Rocky Helmet and Aftermath. Iron Tail is for does hard damage against Fairy-type Pokemon such as Togetic, Mr. Mime, and Wigglytuff. Substitute is so allows Altaria can to avoid status when setting up and with the bulkier spread helps avoid prevent the Substitute breaking.

Set Details

========

Leftovers is so allows Altaria will be getting to get a little bit of recovery each turn when setting up; combined with Roost, the leftovers keep Altaria’s keeping its HP high and allowing it him to set up more. Life Orb is an option instead of Leftovers as because it allows Altaria to deal more damage with the cost of taking some of Altaria's health each turn. Natural Cure prevents status on Altaria, allowing him to comeback in later on is so that if Altaria does receive status of some sort it is healed when switching out and can be used later on. The Speed EVs allow Altaria to outspeed Zebstrika at +1 as well as getting past threats such as Rotom-F without its Choice Scarf and Simipour which scares Altaria with Ice-type attacks; maxing out the Attack EVs and putting the rest into HP for the bulk, allow Altaria to attack at full power and retain some bulk for survival.

Usage Tips

========

Altaria has potential to sweep late-game once you find the opposing Pokemon are low on health to the point where it Altaria can 2HKO or OHKO after one boost. Don't start setting up Dragon Dance if you see Pokemon which can easily take hits and will can hurt Altaria a lot when firing of off their own attack; you'll give the opponent a free switch, you'll be forced to switch and a turn will be wasted for you. Avoid setting up when seeing Scarf Rotom-F with its access to Blizzard or Sneasel and Piloswine with their priority move Ice Shard. You have to be careful if Altaria is running Outrage over Dragon Claw;, locking yourself in an outrage just to have Pokemon wall you. If Outrage isn't ideal, Earthquake is probably the better move. Altaria wants to come in on Pokemon, such as Roselia and Gourgeist, threatened by its move or ones that can't touch it to get a free turn to set up such as Roselia and Gourgeist.

Team Options

========

Pokemon which who can lead and set up hazards such as lead Glalie, Roselia, and Garbodor to wear down the foe so when it Altaria comes in to late-game sweep they're the opposing pokemon are all at the range of being 2HKO or OHKO by Altaria. Pokemon such as Rotom-F are a 2HKO rather than 3HKO after Stealth Rock damage from Dragon Claw or ,and Togetic is a guaranteed 2HKO from Iron Tail after Stealth Rock. Steel type Pokemon such as Metang and Klang which resist all of Altaria's weaknesses thereby forming a good synergy as because Altaria can take Fire-type and Fighting-type moves and is immune to Ground. SubPunch Poliwrath beats Sneasel and Piloswine which who both threaten Altaria and has a good synergy with Altaria, due to it being able to take its Electric-type and Grass-type weaknesses and Poliwrath being able to take taking Rock-type and Ice-type attacks. Offensive partners such as Golem and Piloswine help break Steel-types that Altaria might struggle with; this is should meant to be done before setting up. Flareon and Ninetales can come whittle down bulky Steel-types and walls so giving Altaria has less trouble when sweeping.

Specially Defensive

########

Name: Special Defensive

Move 1: Dragon Pulse

Move 2: Heal Bell

Move 3: Roost

move 4: Roar / Toxic / Haze

Ability: Natural Cure

Move: Leftovers

Evs: Calm

Nature: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Def

Moves

========

Dragon Pulse is a reliable STAB move which that allows Altaria to hit most Pokemon neutrally in the tier. Heal Bell is to keep the team healthy from status. Flamethrower is an option over Heal Bell for those the Steel types which resist Dragon-type moves and are immune to Toxic. Roost is for keeping Altaria to stay at a decent amount of HP when taking hits with the bulk that has been invested. Roar allows Altaria to avoid is to prevent Pokemon from setting up against it and works well with hazards. Toxic is a good combination with Altaria's bulk and Roost allowing it to take hits and heal when getting closer to fainting. Similar to Roar, Haze allows stats boosts of the opposing Pokemon to be removed so you don't find yourself being set up against on by Bulk Up and Calm Mind users; unlike Roar this helps if there is only one Pokemon alive on the opposing team.

Set Details

========

Natural Cure helps Altaria can easily take status and come back in the battle healed from it later on. Leftovers is so lets Altaria can gain back a little bit of HP each turn without having to rely on Roost. The Calm nature with the 252 Special Defense Evs means that Altaria is maxed out in Special Defense. The 248 EVs in HP reduces the amount of Stealth Rock damage that Altaria will takes on each switch and gives Altaria more recovery health from the leftovers a Leftovers number which will make it regain more. This set helps Altaria wall Grass-, Fire- such as Roselia, Ninetales, and Heatmor, while checking Electric-type Pokemon.

Usage Tips

========

Make sure to take advantage of Roost and Toxic combined with the bulky that Altaria is running. It allows you to stall out Pokemon and keep Altaria's HP high. Also be wary of Stealth Rock as because Altaria will need switch in, take a hit and then Roost of the damage, so you'll want to try and keep the HP at a decent amount before switching out. Bring Altaria in on Grass-types such as Gourgeist and Roselia and Fire-types such as Ninetales and Simisear. Flamethrower on Altaria allows it to wear down Steel-type Pokemon, which is good for stall rather than having to rely on Dragon Pulse. Altaria can absorb status due to it having Natural Cure, which heals Altaria upon means it gets healed when switching out.

Team Options

========

This set works best on stall teams due to because Altaria will be keeping the team healthy with Heal Bell, using Roar to wear down the opponent with hazards, and avoid getting set up against. Altaria appreciates such as, Avalugg and Wartortle, teammates that can rid their side of hazards with Rapid Spin. Altaria works well with Pokemon that can set up hazards allow Altaria to roar the opponent, giving the replacement damage so that when foes try to set up Altaria can Roar and they take damage when coming in next time. Entry hazard users such as Roselia and Garbodor which can set up Toxic Spikes and Spikes. Bulky Steel-type such as Metang and Klang Pokemon which who can cover Altaria also work well as a teammate due to their synergy. Poliwrath also has a good synergy with Altaria as because it's able to resist Ice- and Rock-type attacks while Altaria can resist Electric- and Grass-type attacks aimed at Poliwrath.

Other Options

########

Cotton Guard is an option on Altaria as it provides bulk in Defense while still keeping the Special Defense. Perish Song can avoid prevent Pokemon setting up against Altaria due to the foe being forced to switch or faint in 3 turns. Sunny Day is for sun teams which that appreciate the support; Pokemon such as Victreebel for the Chlorophyll speed boost or Ninetales and Flareon to power up their Fire-type attacks. Cloud Nine can be used instead of Natural Cure as the because of its ability to have something for cripple weather teams by removing the weather. Power Swap can be used with Draco Meteor and Life Orb to avoid switching out by swapping the special attack drop with the opposing Pokemon instead.

Checks & Counters

########

**Ice-types**: Ice-type Pokemon such as Sneasel, Regice, Rotom-F, and Avalugg can check Altaria with their Ice type moves but have to avoid taking hits. These Pokemon struggle to switch in to on the Choice Specs set however. Sneasel can come in as a revenge killer on any Altaria set if it has Ice Shard and OHKO Altaria if it has taken damage from Stealth Rock, if no Stealth Rocks are up it still has a chance to OHKO. Avalugg works best in beating the Dragon Dance set.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-type Pokemon such as Togetic and Wigglytuff can take hits apart from Iron Tail on the Dragon Dance set and fire back at Altaria with their STAB Fairy-type moves or potentially stall it Altaria out. Togetic can come in on the Choice Specs set, having no problem with any of the moves and force Altaria to switch out while it can and proceed Roost, Heal Bell, or Thunder Wave the incoming teammate.

**Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-type Pokemon such as Klang, Bastiodon and Metang can take hits from Altaria and proceed to Roar, Toxic, or deal a hard hit to Altaria hard. Bastiodon can come in against the specially defensive set due to it resisting Dragon Pulse and Flamethrower not hurting being able to hurt Altaria it at all and proceed to get up Stealth Rock, Roar, if predicting a switch, or Toxic. When weakened however, they fall to coverage moves such as Earthquake and Fire Blast.

**Rock-types**: Rock-type Pokemon such as Golem and Carracosta can hit Altaria with super effective rock type moves and can take hits from Altaria. These Pokemon are mostly Defensive and fail to take hits from on the Special side. Carracosta can come in on the specially defensive set and threaten Altaria out with a Stone Edge, which will easily OHKO Altaria or it can predict the switch and Shell Smash.

**Lickilicky**: Lickilicky can take hits and can force Altaria to switch out. Dragon Tail can avoid Altaria setting up with Dragon Dance and proceeding to sweep. Lickilicky is good at coming comes in against an Altaria setting up a Dragon Dance and can proceed to Dragon Tail to avoid it Altaria getting up any more boosts; works more effectively with entry hazards wearing down Altaria as it switches in again.

Yeah I think you are gonna need some color, otherwise it's gonna be incredibly difficult to implement this, also hiding it in hide tags makes it much more presentable.

Overview
########
Altaria is a versatile Pokemon with its moves allowing it to run multiple sets. The (redundant with 'versatile') with a decent offensive typing in Dragon / Flying; (SemiColon) typing is decent offensively however, (AC) it this typing makes Altaria 4x weak to Ice-type attacks from Pokemon such as Sneasel and Avalugg. Altaria has nice defensive stats and reliable coverage options due to having access from in Steel-, Fire-, and Ground-type moves. Altaria's ability, Natural Cure, keeps it healthy cures it of status ailments (less ambiguous, you could also be referring to HP) when switching out and makes it one of the few Pokemon that can utilize Rest to sponge status ailments such as poison and paralysis. (this is a bit confusing: with Natural Cure it doesn't need Rest to sponge those other status ailments, it can just switch out without resting and heal them straightaway. I assume you're referring to using Natural Cure to wake up immediately after using Rest, but this needs some rephrasing) Unfortunately, Altaria is weak to Stealth Rock with due to its Flying-typing, (AC) and while it has no access to Defog unlike most other Flying-types; and moreover, although Altaria has a range of different type types of attacks, it has only modest offensive stats and Speed to use them with.

move 2: Fire Blast
move 3: Hidden Power Ground / Dragon Pulse
move 4: Rest
ability: Natural Cure
item: Choice Specs
evs: 120 HP / 252 SpA / 136 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
========
Draco Meteor, combined with the when boosted by Choice Specs, (AC) to does immense damage and hit hits multiple Pokemon hard, (AC) if not OHKOed outright OHKOing them. Fire Blast allows Altaria to hit Steel-type Pokemon such as Metang and Klang. Hidden Power Ground is used to do hard solid damage to Bastiodon, (AC) as it can easily take Draco Meteor and Fire Blast. Dragon Pulse can be used as an option instead, as it's (apostrophe) a powerful and reliable Dragon STAB move which that doesn't force lower you Altaria's to switch with Special Attack drops and is good for cleaning up. Rest is used to keep Altaria healthy from status and its HP high, with Natural Cure allowing so it can to come back in later on in the battle with Altaria awake again due to Natural Cure.

Set Details
========
Choice Specs combined with the a Modest nature is so that allows Altaria is to doing the maximum amount of damage possible and hitting Pokemon hard (redundant). The 252 Special Attack EVs allow Altaria to peak reach the highest amount of Special Attack possible. The Speed EVs allow Altaria to outspeed everything up to a max fully-invested base 65 Speed base of 65 Pokemon such as Glaceon, Flareon, and Heatmor. The EVs which that haven't already gone towards been invested in Speed and Special Attack already go to HP to preserve the Altaria's bulk when switching in and taking hits.

Usage Tips
========
You want to try and preserve preserving Altaria through the match and give giving it a free switch-in (add hyphen) most of the time whenever possible. Draco Meteor OHKOs OHKOes most offensive Pokemon and still does a good amount of damage to Pokemon which that resist it and have no access to recovery. When bringing in Altaria, you'll have to be cautious of Stealth Rock, (AC) as they it can slowly wither away Altaria's health each time and you want to make sure it has enough to either dish out a hard hit or Rest and proceed to switch. Altaria is being locked into one move, (AC) so be careful with which one you pick. If you see a Fairy-type, don't spam Draco Meteor; hit once and proceed to switch, (AC) or just make the double switch into another teammate (one word). Make sure to be cautious when using Rest. Bring Altaria in to use Rest, (AC) and then switch out straight away due to being locked in from the Choice Specs; this can be done against Water-types and Grass-types such as Gourgeist, Mantine, Pelipper, (AC) and most Tangela, (AC) which can barely get damage off against touch Altaria. Draco Meteor should be used when it's (apostrophe) ensured that predictable switches switch-ins such as Bastiodon and Metang are have been removed from the opposing team and that the opposing Pokemon can't recover from taking take a hit and have some form of recovery to get their HP back. Dragon Pulse is for spamming should be spammed when Altaria is assured ensured to clean up the rest of the battle opposing team without having to switch out again.

Team Options
========
Altaria appreciates support from Steel-type Pokemon such as Metang and Klang, (AC) as the they beat Fairy-types and or force them out , such as Metang, and Klang which while also resisting Rock-, Fairy-, Dragon-, and Ice-type moves: (colon) all of Altaria's weaknesses. Stealth Rock users such as Golem and Piloswine and Spikes users such as Roselia and Garbodor allow the stack of hazards to ensure Altaria can finish the Pokemon with either an to OHKO or 2HKO several Pokemon it couldn't otherwise, (AC). With Stealth Rock, Hidden Power Ground is a guaranteed 2HKO on Bastiodon and Draco Meteor is ensured an OHKO on Garbodor. Without the Stealth Rocks it's also a 3HKO on Throh rather than a chance of 2 instead such as Bastiodon, Garbodor, and Throh. (those were way too many words for some mere examples :[ ) Spinblockers to avoid prevent those hazards from being removed such as Misdreavus are also appreciated. Pokemon Rapid Spinners such as Avalugg and Wartortle to get rid of Stealth Rock are useful in getting rid of Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin due to Altaria constantly switching out and coming back in; a Defog user such as Swanna can also be used, (AC) but keep in mind your hazards will be removed too. Poliwrath can switch in on Sneasel or Piloswine which that plan on revenge killing Altaria after it finishes of a Pokemon with a strong attack. Altaria can take Fire-type attacks aimed at Roselia and Gourgeist and Grass- and Ground-type attacks aimed at Stunfisk. Zebstrika appreciates Altaria as a teammate (one word) due to Altaria being immune to its only weakness being Ground-type moves and Altaria having an immunity.

Dragon Dance
########
name: Dragon Dance
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Dragon Claw / Outrage
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Roost / Iron Tail / Substitute
ability: Natural Cure
item: Leftovers / Life Orb
evs: 64 HP / 252 Atk / 192 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
========
Dragon Dance allows Altaria to set up boost its Attack and Speed to then do and hopefully perform a late-game sweep. Dragon Claw is the most a reliable physical Dragon STAB move which doesn't force you to get locked into a move unlike Outrage. (period) which Outrage can be used as an alternate option due to having more its higher power; (AC) however, (AC) you'll have to be much more careful when using it due to its lock-in effect. Earthquake is used for hitting Bastiodon, (AC) which can easily take Dragon-type attacks; it also hits Garbodor without taking damage from Rocky Helmet and Aftermath. Iron Tail is used for hard solid damage against Fairy-type Pokemon such as Togetic, Mr Mime, (AC) and Wigglytuff. Substitute is so allows Altaria can to avoid status when setting up; (SC) and with the bulkier spread helps avoid the Substitute breaking. (I don't see a bulkier spread; if this is a remnant from earlier, remove this part, otherwise please clarify ^_^)

Set Details
========
Leftovers is used so Altaria will be getting a little bit of recovery each turn when setting up; combined with Roost, (AC) keeping this keeps its HP high and allowing allows it to to set up more. Life Orb is an option instead of over Leftovers, (AC) as it allows Altaria to deal more damage, (AC) with the cost of taking some of Altaria's health each turn. Natural Cure is so that if allows Altaria does receive to heal of status of some sort it is healed when by switching out and can be used later on. The Speed EVs allow Altaria to outspeed Zebstrika at +1 as well as getting past threats such as Rotom-F without its a Choice Scarf and Simipour, (AC) which scare Altaria with Ice-type attacks; maxing out the Attack EVs are maximized and putting the rest is put into HP for the more bulk.

Usage Tips
========
Altaria has potential to sweep late-game once you find the opposing Pokemon are low on health to the point where it Altaria can can 2HKO or OHKO them after one boost. Don't start setting up Dragon Dance if you see Pokemon which that can easily take hits and will hurt Altaria a lot when firing of their own attack in return; you'll give the opponent a free switch, you'll be forced to switch and a turn will be wasted for you. Avoid setting up when seeing Choice Scarf Rotom-F, (AC) with its access to Blizzard, (AC) or Sneasel and Piloswine, (AC) with priority their access to Ice Shard. You have to be careful if Altaria is running Outrage over Dragon Claw; locking yourself in just to have Pokemon wall you due to the lock-in effect. If using Outrage isn't ideal, Earthquake is probably the better move. To get a free turn to set up, Altaria wants to come in on Pokemon that feel threatened by its move moves or ones that can't touch it, (AC) to get a free turn to set up such as Roselia and Gourgeist.

Team Options
========
Pokemon which that can lead and set up entry hazards, (AC) such as lead Glalie, Roselia and Garbodor, (AC) to help wear down the foe so when it comes to late-game they're all at into the range of being 2HKOed or OHKOed by Altaria: (colon) Pokemon such as Rotom-F are a 2HKO rather than 3HKO after Stealth Rock damage from Dragon Claw or and Togetic being are a guaranteed 2HKO from Iron Tail after Stealth Rock damage. Steel type Pokemon such as Metang and Klang which resist all of Altaria's weaknesses;(SC) thereby forming a as such, they have good synergy, (AC) as Altaria can take Fire-type and Fighting-type moves for them and is immune to Ground. SubPunch Poliwrath beats Sneasel and Piloswine, (AC) which both threaten Altaria, (AC) and has a good synergy with Altaria, due to it being able to as Altaria is able to take its Poliwrath's Electric-type and Grass-type weaknesses, (AC) and while Poliwrath taking can take Rock-type and Ice-type attacks for Altaria. Offensive partners such as Golem and Piloswine help break Steel-types that Altaria might struggle with; this is meant to be done before setting up. Flareon and Ninetales can come whittle down bulky Steel-types and walls so Altaria has less trouble sweeping.

Specially Defensive
########
name: Special Defensive
move 1: Dragon Pulse
move 2: Heal Bell
move 3: Roost
move 4: Roar / Toxic / Haze
ability: Natural Cure
item: Leftovers
evs: Calm 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
nature: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Def Calm

Moves
========
Dragon Pulse is a reliable STAB move which that allows Altaria to hit most Pokemon neutrally in the tier for neutral damage. Heal Bell is used to keep the team healthy from status. Flamethrower is an option over Heal Bell for those Steel-types, (add hyphen, AC) which resist Dragon-type moves and are immune to Toxic. Roost is for allows Altaria to stay at a decent amount of HP when taking hits with the bulk that has been invested. Roar allows Altaria to avoid opposing Pokemon setting up against it and works pairs well with entry hazards. Toxic is a good combination pairs well with Altaria's bulk and Roost allowing it to take hits and heal when getting closer to fainting. Similar to Roar, Haze allows removes stats stat boosts of the opposing Pokemon to be removed so you don't find yourself being set up against by Bulk Up and Calm Mind users; unlike Roar, however, this helps it still works if there is only one Pokemon alive on the opposing team.

Set Details
========
Natural Cure is so allows Altaria can easily to take status and come back in the battle healed from it later on. Leftovers is so allows Altaria can to gain back a little bit of HP each turn without having to rely on Roost. The A Calm nature with the 252 Special Defense means that maximizes Altaria's is maxed out in Special Defense. The 248 HP EVs in HP reduces the amount of Stealth Rock damage that Altaria will take on each switch and gives Altaria a maximize Leftovers number which will make it regain more recovery. This set helps Altaria wall Grass-, (Remove Comma) and Fire-types such as Roselia, Ninetales and Heatmor while checking Electric-type Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========
Make sure to take advantage of Roost and Toxic combined with the bulky that this Altaria's bulk is running. It allows you Altaria to stall out Pokemon and keep Altaria's its HP high. Also be wary of Stealth Rock, (AC) as Altaria will need to switch in, (RC) and take a hit and then before being able to Roost of off the damage, so you'll want to try and keeping the Altaria's HP at a decent amount before switching out. Bring Altaria in on Grass-types such as Gourgeist and Roselia and or on Fire-types such as Ninetales and Simisear. Flamethrower on Altaria allows it Altaria to wear down Steel-type Pokemon rather than having to rely on Dragon Pulse for this, (AC) which is good for stall rather than having to rely on Dragon Pulse. Altaria can absorb status due to it having Natural Cure, which means it gets healed when switching out.

Team Options
========
This set works best on stall teams due to Altaria keeping the team healthy with Heal Bell and using Roar to wear down the opponent with hazards entry hazard damage and avoid getting set up against on. Altaria appreciates teammates which that can rid the your side of the battlefield of hazards with Rapid Spin, (AC) such as Avalugg and Wartortle. Altaria works well with Pokemon that can set up entry hazards so that when Altaria can Roar foes that try to set up out Altaria can Roar and they force them to take damage when coming back in next time. Entry hazard users such as include Roselia and Garbodor, (AC) which can set up Toxic Spikes and Spikes (both of them can set up both, right? otherwise you should add ', respectively' (with the comma) at the end). Bulky Steel-type Pokemon which that can cover Altaria weaknesses such as Metang and Klang also work well as a teammates (plural) due to their synergy(kinda redundant with the covering of weaknesses). Poliwrath also has a good synergy with Altaria, (AC) as it's able to resist resists Ice- and Rock-type attacks, (AC) while Altaria can resists Electric- (it doesn't resist Electric) and Grass-type attacks aimed at Poliwrath.

Other Options
########
Cotton Guard is an option on Altaria, (AC) as it provides bulk in boosts its Defense while still keeping the Special Defense. Perish Song can avoid Pokemon setting up against on Altaria, due to the foe being forced to switch or faint in 3 turns. Sunny Day is for can be used on sun teams, (AC) which appreciate the support; Pokemon on these teams include such as Victreebel for the Chlorophyll Speed boost or Ninetales and Flareon to power up their Fire-type attacks. Cloud Nine can be used instead of Natural Cure as the ability to have something for in order to cripple weather teams by removing (it doesn't actually remove it, it only ignores it as long as Altaria is on the field, akin to Air Lock, so you might wanna rephrase this a little) the weather. Power Swap can be used with Draco Meteor and Life Orb to avoid switching out by swapping the Special Attack drop with on the opposing Pokemon instead.

Checks & Counters
########

**Ice-types**: Ice-type Pokemon such as Sneasel, Regice, Rotom-F, (AC) and Avalugg can check Altaria with their Ice type STAB (less repetitive) moves but have to avoid taking hits. These Pokemon struggle to switch into (one word) the Choice Specs set, (AC) however. Sneasel can come in as a revenge killer on any Altaria set if it has Ice Shard and OHKO Altaria if it has taken damage from Stealth Rock; even if no Stealth Rocks are isn't up, (AC) it still has a chance to OHKO. Avalugg works best in beating the Dragon Dance set.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-type Pokemon such as Togetic and Wigglytuff can take hits from Altaria, apart from except Iron Tail on from the Dragon Dance set, (AC) and fire back at Altaria with their STAB Fairy-type moves or potentially stall it out. Togetic can come in on the Choice Specs set, having no problem with taking any of the moves, (AC) and force Altaria to switch out while it can use Roost, (RC) or Heal Bell or use Thunder Wave on the incoming teammate.

**Steel-types** : Bulky Steel-type Pokemon such as Klang, Bastiodon, (AC) and Metang can take hits from Altaria and proceed to use Roar, Toxic, (AC) or deal a hard hit to Altaria. Bastiodon can come in against the specially defensive set due to it resisting Dragon Pulse and Flamethrower not hurting it at all and proceed to get up Stealth Rock, Roar predicting a switch, (AC) or Toxic. When weakened, (AC) however, they fall to coverage moves such as Earthquake and Fire Blast.

**Rock-types**: Rock-type Pokemon such as Golem and Carracosta can hit Altaria with their super effective rock type STAB moves and can take hits. These Pokemon are mostly physically defensive and fail to take special hits from the Special side. Carracosta can come in on the specially defensive set and threaten Altaria out with a Stone Edge, (AC) which will easily OHKO Altaria, (AC) or it can predict the switch and use Shell Smash.

**Lickilicky**: Lickilicky can take hits and can force Altaria to switch out. Dragon Tail can avoid prevent Altaria from setting up with Dragon Dance and proceeding to sweep, (comma) Lickilicky comes in against Altaria setting up a Dragon Dance and proceeds to Dragon Tail to avoid it getting up any more boosts; (this says basically the same as the previous sentences) which works more effectively with entry hazards wearing down Altaria as it switches in again.

Cloud Nine can be used instead of Natural Cure in order to cripple weather teams by ignoring the weather boosts while Altaria is on the battlefield. Power Swap can be used with Draco Meteor and Life Orb to avoid switching out by swapping the Special Attack drop on the opposing Pokemon instead.

Checks & Counters
########

**Ice-types**: Ice-type Pokemon such as Sneasel, Regice, Rotom-F, and Avalugg can check Altaria with their STAB moves but have to avoid taking hits. These Pokemon struggle to switch into the Choice Specs set, however. Sneasel can revenge kill any Altaria set if it has Ice Shard and OHKO Altaria if it has taken damage from Stealth Rock; even if Stealth Rock isn't up, it still has a chance to OHKO. Avalugg works best in beating the Dragon Dance set.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-type Pokemon such as Togetic and Wigglytuff can take hits from Altaria, except Iron Tail from the Dragon Dance set, and fire back at Altaria with their STAB Fairy-type moves or potentially stall it out. Togetic can come in on the Choice Specs set, having no problem taking any of the moves with no problem, and force forcing Altaria to switch out while it can use Roost or Heal Bell or use Thunder Wave on the incoming teammate.

**Steel-types** : Bulky Steel-type Pokemon such as Klang, Bastiodon, and Metang can take hits from Altaria and proceed to use Roar, Toxic, or deal a hard hit to Altaria. Bastiodon can come in against the specially defensive set due to it resisting Dragon Pulse and Flamethrower not hurting it at all and proceed to get up Stealth Rock, Roar predicting a switch, or Toxic. When weakened, however, they fall to coverage moves such as Earthquake and Fire Blast.

**Rock-types**: Rock-type Pokemon such as Golem and Carracosta can hit Altaria with their super effective STAB moves and can take hits in return. These Pokemon are mostly physically defensive and fail to take special hits,(AC) however. Carracosta can come in on the specially defensive set and threaten Altaria out with Stone Edge, which will easily OHKO Altaria, or it can predict the switch and use Shell Smash.

**Lickilicky**: Lickilicky can take hits and can force Altaria to switch out. Dragon Tail can prevent Altaria from setting up with Dragon Dance and proceeding to sweep, which works more effectively with entry hazards wearing down Altaria as it switches in again.

Altaria's ability, Natural Cure, cures it of status ailments when switching and makes it one of the few Pokemon that can utilize Rest to sponge status ailments, (AC) such as poison and paralysis.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe that change should be made as 'such as' is only being used to give examples; all status effects apply here.

technically it doesn't sponge sleep, since it won't get the recovery if it switches into Sleep Powder or w/e

In that case, I feel that should be mentioned and therefore this is better:

Altaria's ability, Natural Cure, cures it of status ailments when switching and makes it one of the few Pokemon that can utilize Rest to sponge status ailments such as poison and paralysis bar sleep.

Wow, I found another error in the same sentence (how did I not notice this before n_n)

Altaria's ability, (RC) Natural Cure, (RC) cures it of status ailments when switching and makes it one of the few Pokemon that can utilize Rest to sponge status ailments bar sleep.
The commas surrounding 'Natural Cure' imply that Natural Cure is Altaria's only ability, which it isn't.

But weebl they also state that Altaria being used ability is natural cure. It is grammatically correct to put those commas in.

That information isn't stated before this sentence in the overview. Besides, the overview is for talking about the Pokemon in general; in fact, one might even touch on a Pokemon's less useful ability/ies, such as Altaria's Cloud Nine.

Okay here is a grammar lesson for you Weebl. The way Natural cure is used in the sentence is called an appositive. An Appositive comes after the subject and renames the subject. When used the Appositive phrase is surrounded by commas. Since it is an appositive phrase it must be surrounded by a pair of commas. Sorry if I sound rude but that sentence is grammatically correct.
