I think you misunderstood me, your answer has nothing to do wit my question. I was asking about changing effect of your ability. You can actually choose another ability, the Pokémon I mentioned all have already other useful abilities.

Yeah, I understood. I just meant that if you want to use a Pokémon that has Mimetism with its original type, you can use it with another ability. Dunno, adding a third type is something currently only Forest's Curse and Trick-or-Treat do, and doesn't seem a good mechanic to me. I've seen how the third type mechanic has been interesting in the OM Hidden Type, but I'd like Mimetism to work just like Protean and Color Change, so that the entire typing is replaced with the Terrain type. Also, the Pokémon I mentioned all have better users with their same role and of their same typing (Vileplume<<Roserade, Florges<<Sylveon, etc.), so making them change type and always have a STAB could allow them to shine somehow, making them unpredictable.I think you misunderstood me, your answer has nothing to do wit my question. Pokemon that get it:Porygon family (Insteand of Analytic) Kecleon(Instead Of Color Change)May I suggest an ability that interacts with all the Terrains?
Its name is Mimetism and its effect would simply be:
On switch-in, holder's type changes in base of the active Terrain (following the mechanics of Camouflage).
Some good users would be obviously Kecleon, but also Pokèmon that mimetise and hide in the surrounding environment, like Weepinbell and Victreebell, Oddish line, Flabébé line, Carnivine and others. This would allow to use Nature Power at its best, gaining always STAB on it.
I highly recommend that you exclude flinching from this. Or maybe make it so that ability only activates when moving last.Name: Trickster
Effect: If the user's attacks have secondary effects (eg Flamethrower), those effects will always occur, unless the target is immune.
Pokemon: Chandelure (instead of Flame Body), Jellicent (instead of Damp), Gengar, Rotom (base)
Competitive use: Chandelure and Jellicent now basically have STAB Will-O-Wisps in the form of Fire Blast and Scald respectively, while Gengar has a STAB Poison Powder in Sludge Wave and Rotom has STAB Thunder Wave in the form of Thunderbolt. Combined with monstrously strong Hexes, and the foe's inability to recover HP, stall is going to have a hell of a rough time.
Astonish OPThese submissions definetly had too many Fire and Ice puns.
Flying: Zephyr Terrain
Chakra Terrain abilities: Energy Boost, Perfect Zen, Quick Draw
Fire Terrain abilities: Controlled Burning, Scorched Earth, Hot-headed
Ominous Terrain abilities: Trickster, Ominous Sneak, Grave Guardian
Grassy Terrain abilities: Leafy Shield, Herbal Sprout
Frosty Terrain abilities: Cold-hearted, Melting, Snap Freeze
I highly recommend that you exclude flinching from this. Or maybe make it so
Good idea, it's now only volatile statusThese submissions definetly had too many Fire and Ice puns.

I assume you mean non-volatile status, since things like flinching and taunt are volatile status, while things like burn and paralysis are non-volatile.Good idea, it's now only volatile status.
Brain fart yesI assume you mean non-volatile status, since things like flinching and taunt are volatile status, while things like burn and paralysis are non-volatile.
Also I'll probably vote tommorow, don't have time right now.
Sorry Mega Ampharos already has Overcharge (or Electric Charger), give it to something else.I nominate Mega Ampharos (Instead of Mold Breaker) for Surge Surfer.
I'll add the abilities later
You're a bit late on that. We're not submitting the terrain, but rather, abilities that will be activated if the terrain is on (Like Surge Surfer and Grass Pelt)Flying: Windy Terrain
flying moves boosted by 1.5x hazards are removed at the end of every turn roost heals 66% ground moves do not effect grounded pokemon while effected.
