Azelf is an awesome threat that is almost always an amazing choice for a revenge killer in AAA. Psychic Surge protects it from priority moves, while its Choice Scarf allows it to outspeed opposing Choice Scarf users, as well as neutral nature Unburden Kommo-o. U-turn allows it to scout for switch-ins such as Assault Vest Silvally-Dragon and Swampert, Regenerator Genesect, and Blissey. Fire Blast OHKOes Genesect and Weavile and 2HKOes Zarude and Corviknight, with the latter shrugging off Azelf's other attacks. Trick can cripple passive walls that wish to switch in like Blissey and Cosmic Power Mew. Knock Off is another option to punish switch-ins, removing foes' Assault Vests or Heavy-Duty Boots. Choice Band Adaptability Terrakion makes an excellent partner that can punish the aforementioned Blissey and Cosmic Power Mew. Calm Mind Magic Guard Blacephalon can set up in front of non-Unaware Blissey and Assault Vest Silvally-Dragon to remove them for Azelf or use Knock Off to remove their items. Sheer Force Tapu Lele can overwhelm Steel-types like Heatran and Ferrothorn with its STAB moves and lure in Swampert to OHKO with Energy Ball.
