If your target is 382, then the frame must be advanced 381 times.
When you take 128 steps (where you cannot battle a pokemon), the RNG will advance by the number of pokemon in your party. If you remember me saying you should have 5 pokemon, this is why; to do an odd number of advances.
If you have 5 pokemon in your party, then walking 128 steps will advance your frame 5 times, so you only need to advance it 376 more times. This, being an even number, can be done with 188 journal flips (check my math just to be sure).
Alternatively, taking 1 step (or 1 turn, or 1 turn-and-step) in an area where you can battle wild pokemon will advance your frame by one every time. I don't know if the 128 rule still applies or not, but I'm guessing it does.
