Palworld is out. It has universally good reviews and has sold 4 million copies in like 3 days. It's breaking records in active steam users.
It plays a bit like a good Legends Arceus. I'm a few hours in and just built my first house. I have a few sheep and chickens (err, whatever the Pal version is called). The Pals can be instructed to work for you, and with some setup you can automate most of what you need done.
Comparisons to Pokémon are inevitable but it isn't really like Pokémon at all. The game is in early access but with the absurdly good reception it has received I'm excited to see where the games goes from this point.
