Just a set, not a full analysis (the full one is complete, but only has this as an OO mention when it really deserves a full set)

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move1: Outrage
move2: Crunch
move3: Fire Fang
move4: Return / Thunder Wave
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Hustle
nature: Jolly
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Even without a Choice Band, Zweilous still hits like a truck thanks to Hustle, having the strongest unboosted Dragon-type STAB in RU. When using a Choice Scarf, Zweilous is able to outspeed everything in RU up to positively natured Archeops, and can easily KO a large portion of the metagame. Outrage is Zweilous's main STAB option, hitting most of the tier ridiculously hard thanks to the lack of common Steel-types that resist it. Crunch is a great secondary STAB to utilize when Outrage is unsafe to use, while Fire Fang rounds off Zweilous's type coverage, hitting the Steel-types that it can't destroy with Outrage and Crunch. Return is mostly a filler option, doing little to help Zweilous's coverage, although it can be handy if the opponent is packing both Dark- and Dragon-type resists and it is unsafe to get locked into Outrage too early. Thunder Fang is another option, which can be used to get out of some sticky situations with setup sweepers that Zweilous is incapable of KOing with Outrage and Crunch, such as Gallade or Poliwrath.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

Zweilous should almost always use maximum Attack and Speed EVs with a Jolly nature when using a Choice Scarf. However, if outrunning the few Pokemon between the base 101 and base 111 Speed tiers isn't important, an Adamant nature is also an option, placing Zweilous at 295 Attack, which translates into well over 400 with Hustle. Zweilous has a few other move options for its last moveslot; Ice Fang can hit Flying-, Ground-, and Grass-types relatively hard, but unless against a Pokemon 4x weak to Ice, a neutral Outrage hits harder. Zweilous can also use either Dragon Tail or Toxic in its last moveslot; the former being useful for handling bulky setup sweepers, although it rather defeats the purpose of the Choice Scarf, while the latter cripples most common walls.

Zweilous really appreciates teammates who are capable of removing bulky Steel-types that prevent it from firing off Outrages recklessly. Because of this, Magneton, Dugtrio, and even Wynaut, pair well with Zweilous, as they're able to trap and KO most Steel-types with ease. Additional useful teammates for Zweilous include other Dragon-types, such as Fraxure and Altaria, forming a double Dragon strategy capable of systematically breaking down almost all the common walls in the tier. Zweilous appreciates support from bulky Water- and Steel-types, who take the Ice-type attacks commonly directed at it with ease, as well as Ghost- and Psychic-types, such as Rotom and Gallade, who can sponge the Fighting-type attacks fired off towards it.

As with nearly any offensive Pokemon, Zweilous hugely appreciates entry hazard support. Being a Choice Scarf user affected by all of the entry hazards, Zweilous can also make good use of Rapid Spin support. Excellent choices for providing entry hazards include Qwilfish, Mesprit, and Scolipede, while great users of Rapid Spin who complement Zweilous include Claydol, Hitmonchan, and Cryogonal.

As far I could see, CS Zweilous was not rejected in the original thread. And so that you know, kingcharizard, Windsong is doing this the right way.

I think this might have been rejected already..... If not, there is a thread for things like this.
This set has not been rejected, has been posted in the thread for things like this, and Windsong is on the QC team. I don't think there's an issue

Anyway, this is a cool set. Probably worth mentioning Adamant somewhere, since the outrageous power is just so tempting, even if you want to recommend against it (falls short of base 100s, which sucks). Also, it would be interesting to know how much you use Return, because I've not used it once. Thunderwave seems like a better option to me; it's rarely useful, but it can get you out of a sticky situation. It also works, say, when burned.

edit: there are also no base 111s in RU, so you might want to leave it at base 110s. Scolipede also sits at 112 and might be worth mentioning.

QC APPROVED 1/3

The lack of power i found really disappointing in some situations, like against Gallade and Poliwrath when normally Outrage would obliterate them. Though, outspeeding Honch and Rotom and stuff was really cool.

Outrage is Zweilous's main STAB option, hitting most of the tier ridiculously hard thanks to the lack of common Pokemon lack of Steel-tpyes? that resist it. Crunch is there as a useful great secondary STAB for to utilize when Outrage is unsafe to use, while Fire Fang rounds off Zweilous's type coverage, hitting the Steel-types that it can't hit hard destroy repeated word, feel free to use another one with Outrage or Crunch, super effectively. Return is mostly a filler option, having very little useful coverage, doing little to help Zweilous's coverage, although it can be handy if the opponent is packing both Dark- and Dragon-type resists. err... doesn't help against Steel-types... might want to rephrase this? Thunder Fang is another option, which can be used to get out of some sticky situations and mess with setup sweepers that Zweilous is incapable of KOing with Outrage or Crunch. such as...?

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

Zweilous should almost always use maximum Attack and max Speed EVs with a Jolly nature when using a Choice Scarf. However, if outrunning the few Pokemon between the base 101 and base 111 Speed tiers isn't important, an Adamant nature is also an option, placing Zweilous at 295 Attack, which translates into well over 400 with Hustle. Continuing, Zweilous has a few other move options for its last moveslot;<semicolon>, that are moderately viable options over Return or Thunder Wave. Ice Fang can hit Flying-, Ground-, Grass-, and opposing Dragon-types <-- might want to just Outrage this relatively hard, but unless against a Pokemon 4x weak to Ice, a neutral Outrage hits harder. Similarly, Thunder Fang can hit Water- and Flying-types super effectively anything can hit lol :P, but again is usually eh... i don't think i see any water- or flying- types 4x weak to it in RU :/ unless i missed out something weaker than Outrage. Zweilous can also use either Dragon Tail or Toxic in its last moveslot,;<semicolon> comma splice? the former being useful for handling bulky setup sweepers, although it rather defeats the purpose of the Choice Scarf, while the latter can cripples most common walls.

Additional useful teammates for Zweilous include other Dragon-types, such as Fraxure and Altaria, forming a double Dragon strategy capable of systematically breaking down almost all the common walls in the tier. Finally, this is not the end! *looks below* and no order, so not neeeded Zweilous appreciates support from bulky Water- and Steel-types, who take the Ice-type attacks commonly directed at it, as well as Ghost- and Psychic-<hyphen>types, such as Rotom and Gallade, who can take all of sponge repeated word the Fighting-type attacks fired off towards it.

As with nearly any offensive Pokemon, Zweilous hugely appreciates entry hazard support. Being a Choice Scarf user hit affected by all of the entry hazards, Zweilous can also make good use of Rapid Spin support. Excellent choices for providing entry hazards include Qwilfish, Mesprit, and Scolipede, while the best great best is somewhat subjective :/ users of Rapid Spin who complements Zweilous optional are include not extensive i guess Claydol, Hitmonchan, and Cryogonal.
