  • follow all global rules of Circus Maximus
  • Each cycle lasts 72 hours.

  • This game is free-for-all. Players have no innate teams.
  • Each player has an Attack stat and an HP stat. The Attack stat has no inherent value, but is used for the universal ability Attack.
  • Unless an action specifically increases HP maximums, your HP can never go above your maximum; if you would end a cycle with more HP than your maximum, you are reduced to your maximum at the end of the cycle.
  • You MAY target yourself with actions. Actions which target multiple players CANNOT target the same player multiple times(note that some characters may have multiple instances of the same action, which CAN be used multiple times on the same target.
  • Death is always determined at the end of the cycle; players die in order of lowest HP to highest. Ties are broken first by the highest Attack player dying first, then if it is still tied, the player who took the most damage dies first. If it is STILL tied after both tiebreakers, they die simultaneously.
  • Win conditions are checked between each revealed death, so a player may win when they were otherwise going to die.
  • Actions cannot infinitely loop; if an action,
  • All players have aliases. Most, if not all, abilities target aliases, rather than players. If it does not specifically states it targets usernames, it targets aliases
  • Each cycle, there will be a lynch vote in the thread. At the end of the cycle, the alias with the most votes will be announced, and that player will take 5 damage. All aliases that voted for the player will be revealed(for convenience, a list of all players publicly voting that player will also be shown) but not attached to individual names of players.
  • Each role PM has 5 win conditions listed in it. If you complete 3 of them, you win and exit the game.
  • Win conditions using the word 'outlive' require the relevant player(s) to die while you are still alive. Win conditions using 'outlast' require them to either die OR to win.
  • You will be told if your action failed, but not why it failed. If your action is redirected, what you will be told is listed in the text of the redirecting ability.
  • Actions are resolved using Natural Action Resolution. If an action is redirected by multiple sources unresolvably, the action will be cloned and applied to both resulting targets
  • Each cycle, in addition to any of your abilities from your role, you may use the following abilities: Attack: Deal damage equal to your Attack to an alias.
  • And 1 inspection ability:
  • Wincon Check(Harmful, Active, Info) - Check which of your wincons an alias relates to.
    Sleuth(Harmful, Active, Info) - Target three aliases and name a wincon; learn which ones have that wincon.
    Investigate(Harmful, Active,Info) - Target two aliases and name one of your own wincons; learn which ones relate to that wincon.
    The Proof(Harmful, Active, Info) - Name an alias and a role name; you will learn that alias's role PM.
  • All actions have tags. Other than Personal, these tags have no innate purpose other than interacting with other abilities.

Signups will end and the game will be posted sometime past 4 PM EST Friday if we have 30 people. If not, they will remain open until 30 people have signed up.

note: the ONLY requests i will take for roles are that if you asked for a specific franchise to be included during game creation, and i included it, i will respect you requesting that franchise
