OH MY GOD BLISSEY

Blissey (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Double-Edge
- Ice Punch
- Soft-Boiled
New Stats: 10/255/255/75/135/55
Jeez, Blissey gets WAY too much attack and defense, while taking away from his Hp. It doesn't matter as much now, though. Blissey looks great in this tier

Note that blissey no longer has the hp for double edge, and in many cases chansey will be better due to being able to live a hit or two.

Decidueye trades it's attack for Speed. That's neat actually. 78/70/75/100/100/107

Incineroar is the first of many Gen 7 who trade Attack for Speed. Not sure if a Special set is viable. 95/60/90/80/90/115

Primarina is pretty much useless. Trades Sp. Atk for speed but has crap offenses now. 80/74/74/60/116/126

Buzzwole got screwed even more than Lycanroc because its special movepool is Round and Hidden Power. Round and Hidden Power. Anyway, Pyukumuku getting faster is a blessing in disguise since now it can properly make use of Innards Out.

Congrats for that. But, there's few things :
Correct me if i'm wrong, but Minior (Core) keeps the HP stat of the original Minior. It won't be as broken as expected.
Komala have Wish for healing, that should give it some utility.
For Alolan forms, Alolan Persian have 115 Def. With Fur Coat and 252+ EVs, this thing have a deadly 722 defense. This looks nice.

If this were Gen 6, then yes Minior-Core and Wishiwashi-School would share the same base HP as their normal forms. However, we now have precedent for a Pokémon changing base HP between formes mid-battle: Zygarde Complete Forme has 216 base HP to Zygarde 50%'s base 108. When gaining base HP mid-battle, the Pokémon restores HP equal to the amount of max HP it gains.
The question is whether we need to apply this mechanics change to Mega Evolutions as well, making them not inherit the base form's HP and making HP a swappable stat for them.

Edit: That said, Minior changing max HP between forms would cause a problem with its mechanics. At the end of the turn, if Minior's HP is at or below 50% and it's in Shield form, it switches to Core form. At the end of the turn, if Minior's HP is above 50% and it's in Core form, it switches to Shield form. So if changing to Core form increases its HP such that it ends up above half, either it's alternating forms every turn or it gets stuck in an infinite loop of form switching.

Alolan:

Blah. Do it later.
Alola Raticate trades Special Defence for Special Attack: 75/71/70/80/40/77

Alola Raichu trades Speed for Defence. 60/85/110/95/85/50
I bet it would still be fun with Surge Surfer in Stat Switch Doubles if that were a thing.

Alola Sandslash trades Defence for Special Attack. 75/100/25/120/65/65

Alola Ninetales trades Speed for Attack. 73/109/75/81/100/67

Alola Dugtrio trades Speed for HP. 110/100/60/50/70/35

Alola Persian trades Speed for both Attack and Defence. 65/115/115/75/65/60
Obligatory reminder that this thing gets Fur Coat. And that Technician Bite or Feint Attack off of 115 base Attack might actually hurt.

Alola Golem trades Defence for Speed. 80/120/45/55/65/130

Not an Alola Form, but Dodrio now trades both Attack and Speed for HP, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def. In Gen 6, it only traded Attack. 110/60/70/110/110/60 (old Stat Switch spread: 110/60/70/110/110/100)

Alola Muk trades both HP and Attack for Speed. 50/50/75/65/100/105

Alola Exeggutor trades Special Attack for Speed. 95/105/85/45/75/125
Its base 105 attack is still pretty usable offensively though.

Alola Marowak trades Defence for Speed. 60/80/45/50/80/110

Also not an Alola Form but Stat Switch Swellow is nerfed. It now trades Speed for only Sp. Def, instead of both Sp. Def and Sp. Atk. 60/85/60/75/125/50 (old Stat Switch spread was 60/85/60/125/125/50)

Again not an Alola Form but Stat Switch Masquerain is different. It used to trade Sp. Def for both Attack and Speed, but now trades Sp. Atk for Attack instead. 70/100/62/60/82/80 (old Stat Switch spread was 70/82/62/80/60/82)

Stat Switch Delcatty is buffed. Now trades only Speed for Sp. Atk and Sp. Def instead of trading both Speed and HP. 70/65/65/90/90/55 (old Stat Switch spread was 55/65/65/70/70/55)

Stat Switch Volbeat is different. Now trades both Speed and Sp. Def for Sp. Atk, instead of just Speed. 65/73/75/85/47/47 (old Stat Switch spread was 65/73/55/85/75/47)

Stat Switch Illumise is different. Now trades both Speed and Sp. Def for Attack instead of just Speed. 65/85/75/73/47/47 (old Stat Switch spread was 65/85/55/73/75/47)

Stat Switch Cryogonal is buffed. Now trades Sp. Def for both Attack and Defence instead of just Defence. 80/135/135/95/50/105 (old Stat Switch spread was 70/50/135/95/30/105)

Also you swapped Mimikyu wrong. It trades Sp. Def for Sp. Atk, not for HP. Its correct spread is 55/90/80/105/50/96

Thanks for the fixes then.
But even then, Core Minior sounds insane. 100/120/120 bulk with 100/100 offenses is great. 60 Speed is bad but you have Shell Smash and Bulk to bring you back to the game.

Also poor boy Type Null gets the most trolled by all of this. Changes from an impressive 95/95/95/95/95/59 to just 59/59/59/59/59/95. Rip.

Since we lack a Gen 7 thread...

Allow me to showcase the amazing capacity of the Pokémon known to English-speakers as Persian, more particularly its variant from the series of islands known as Alola, to take powerful attacks of a physical nature and not only survive, but continue fighting!

252+ Atk Chansey Return vs. 128 HP / 252 Def Fur Coat Persian: 109-130 (35.9 - 42.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (This is from a spectacular 250 base physical attacking power, mind you!)

252+ Atk Regice Brick Break vs. 128 HP / 252 Def Fur Coat Persian: 90-108 (29.7 - 35.6%) -- 24.5% chance to 3HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Regice Brick Break vs. 128 HP / 252 Def Fur Coat Persian: 136-160 (44.8 - 52.8%) -- 22.7% chance to 2HKO

However, this does not necessitate a removal from the fighting environment. Even with an Assault Vest, an Alolan Persian is susceptible to special attacks and to status!

/unposh

Persian-Alola is really good, as you can see from the posh calcs above. However, it lacks reliable recovery, and its vulnerability to Special moves means it's probably going to be running an Assault Vest anyway since it needs what it can get, so it either has a Wish-using partner or gets worn down quickly - which is what Komala is for!

115/65/115/75/95/115 isn't TOO great on paper, but Komala is the highest HP Wish user that can grab momentum in Stat Switch... and it gets Rapid Spin, and incredible trait for something that will be switching into things a lot. In fact, the only other Pokémon with such a combination are Smeargle and Spinda, who lack anything near Komala's HP. Its ability, Comatose, also renders it immune to status! These traits make it an incredible supporter! ...or at least a pretty good one.
