Stakataka

[OVERVIEW]

*While Stakataka's abysmall Speed stat may seem like a curse at first, it is also a blessing, as it provides Stakataka with extremely powerful Gyro Balls, capable of 2HKOing the likes of Mew, Mega Venusaur, and notable defensive staples that don't resist it, and outright OHKOing offensive Pokémon such as Tapu Koko, Latios, Mega Medicham and numerous others.
*Not only is Stakataka powerful, though, but it's access to Trick Room let's it rampage through offensive teams alike.
*Furthermore, It's abiility in Beast Boost provides handy Attack raises that makes Balance-esque teams struggle even more to reliably switch into it, along coverage options such as Stone Edge, Superpowerm and Earthquake.

*However, due to it's pathetic defensive typing and poor Special bulk, Stakataka often struggles to tank a hit and set up Trick Room reliably, and it is extremely prone to being revenge killed when outside of Trick Room.
*It is also very one dimentional and needs boosts to overcome bulkier teams, therefore, it really struggles with the likes of Skarmory, Mega Sableye, and Mega Scizor.

Moves
========

*Trick Room is key to Stakataka's success, enabling it to outspeed the entire metagame in the following four turns.
*Gyro Ball is essencially a drawback-free 150 BP move against most of the tier and allows Stakataka to be the offensive menace it truly is.
*Stone Edge is a STAB move that, despite not being as strong as Gyro Ball in most circumstances, allows Stakataka to overcome the likes of Toxapex and Celesteela, both of which resist Gyro Ball. When boosted by Rockium Z, Tectonic Rage is capable of getting Stakataka a KO most of the time, kicking off it's Beast Boost and progressively making it stronger.
*Superpower formes great coverage with Stakataka's STAB moves and allows it to hit Ferrothorn, notably, while still taking on most of the Pokémon that wall it's STAB combo, such as Magnezone, Excadrill, and Kartana. The Attack drop is no big deal in all honesty, as Stakataka can quickly regain it's Attack stat upon nabbing a KO.
*Earthquake could be run over Superpower for a safer hit on Toxapex while still hitting the likes of Magnezone and Heatran, though, missing out on Ferrothorn and Kartana could be troublesome.

Set Details
========

*A Lonely nature along with 15 Def IVs makes Stakataka's Attack and Defense stats exactly the same, which enables it to gain Attack raises from it's ability, Beast Boost.
*0 Spe IVs give Gyro Ball a higher damage output and ensure Stakataka will move first under Trick Room.
*A Rockium Z is used to allow Stakataka to start snowballing with more ease, as a well played Tectonic Rage is very much capable of getting a KO.
*However, if one of Stakataka's teammates already holds a Z-crystal, Life Orb or Iron Plate are both plausible options.

Other Options
=============

*Stealth Rock is an option on the Trick Room set for teams that would lack any other setter, but generally the coverage provided by Superpower or Earthquake is superior.
*A Choice Band set is extremely strong, but it's not Stakataka's most optimal set, as bulkier teams can exploit the fact that Stakataka isn't allowed to switch moves, while Offense teams can revenge kill it without any struggle.
*Using a Brave Nature and keeping the Defense IVs makes Stakataka considerably bulkier, and capable of setting Stealth Rock more reliably and being more of a lead in full Trick Room teams, however, Stakataka trully shines on it's offensive department, making said set outclassed by the likes of Uxie and Bronzong.
