Double Flying Spikes

This is a team that I've been playing around with for the past 2 weeks that's won me a few room tours. Essentially, the main goal is to get up Spikes with Bunnelby and break down teams with the two Flying-type wallbreakers so Zigzagoon can clean late game. My favorite part of the Zigzagoon set is Thief since it can steal an Eviolite from an opposing Pokemon after it's used Belly Drum, which can be very beneficial. Munchlax helps take on weak Pokemon and Fire-types, and can sometimes win games on its own if the opposing team can't break it. Litleo rounds out the team as the main answer to Steel-types, which can be pretty threatening to the team.

I chose to make goon belly drum for its power and thief to get the opponents items. Then I made Rufflet the scarfer with hustle so it can still run defog with more power for its other moves. Bunnelby is the hazard settler. Stufful aids in the steel mu and with fluffy makes it able to tank physical contact moves. Duduo is a physical attacker and with knock off can get rid of evoites. I chose helioptile because it helps against flying mons and a great special attacker.

This is the standard Zigzagoon set paired with a double flying core composed of Doduo and Taillow. The core is here to prepare zigzagoon sweep by weakening the opposing defensive cores. The rest of the team is here to support the flying core, with Stufful taking easily the threatening priorities and easing the rock and steel matchups. Heliolisk is a good check for flying types and can threaten every set up sweeper with glare. Lickitung is the Shellder check and with its great bulk and coverage will be useful in every matchup.

Just normal built around your generic DrumGoon. The team is set to potentially set up chip hazards via spikes while providing offensive pressure on the opponent's squad aggressively. For the flying core Doduo is pretty much a given has a beatstick with a speed option via scarf, but Piki is where I decided to switch things up a bit. What really caught my attention was Piki's ability to make use of Skill Link. This mostly so serving as an out of eliminating opposing rock setters or general annoyances for normal in general.
-236 Atk Life Orb Pikipek Bullet Seed (5 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dwebble: 20-25 (95.2 - 119%) -- approx. 6.3% chance to OHKO
-236 Atk Life Orb Pikipek Bullet Seed (5 hits) vs. 76 HP / 0 Def Onix: 50-80 (238 - 380.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
-236 Atk Life Orb Pikipek Flame Charge vs. 84 HP / 108+ Def Eviolite Ferroseed: 16-21 (72.7 - 95.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
-236 Atk Life Orb Pikipek Bullet Seed (5 hits) vs. 36 HP / 36+ Def Eviolite Shellder: 25-40 (125 - 200%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Stufful acts as a lovely compliment to the dual flying core to help relieve pressures dumped on them from opposition. Meowth comes in as another odd choice and only adds yet another physical attacker (Mostly) to the list, but with access to Fake Out + Feint + Technician the cat can threaten speed threats and provide solid chip options when needed.

Zigzagoon is a pretty lit mon in mono LC since if u successfully set up against certain types, its a wrap. I used a team similar to this week 1 of MWP and its something i still use in room tours, so lets get it. Bunnelby is for the hazards, helps get chip damage to let zigzagoon sweep better. The dual scarf birds is to revenge kill and take out mons that prevent Zigzagoon from sweeping like Gastly. Stufful is for opposing steel and rock types that generally threaten normal. Lastly Helioptile is for water/flying spam, used to be electrium z but Moosical kept bullying me so its Eviolite now. Anyways enjoy the team, its pretty fun to use :)
