barry>dawn>may and never kill cheren
Ur a more or less confirmed Dragon, the best shot at being able to identify what Dragons are is by killing the dragon we know about

But I think May is more valuable. Barry and Dawn aren't as high value anymore

Actually, this was a joke with two meanings. The first original meaning, which you have seemed to pick up on and reply back to with a rude message, was that of saying that the chat (in this case, the thread) was "dead," or inactive. However, there was another message, a double entendre, if you will, that says that the dead (in this case, me) are chatting (posting in the thread). It is a clever use of wordplay, not dissimilar from jokes such as "Apartment Complex? I Find It Quite Simple" and "Road Work? I Sure Hope It Does" and "You're Telling Me A Shrimp Fried This Rice?" So in reality, you should be commemorating me for such a skilled use of literary prowess. Upvotes to the left.

Ana said chat is dead so I whipped up my best attempt at competitive analysis of what we have so far. Edit: I forgot about Armaldo quite a bit while writing this.

:armaldo:
The often forgotten breaker of MMM2. Armaldo struggles into Weezing but generally has a positive to decent matchup into several threats currently in the tier. Stone Axe provides really good utility as well.

Armaldo @ Choice Band
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Ability: Sharpness
Adamant Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Stone Axe
- Superpower
- Earthquake

Armaldo can attempt to wallbreak, it's dual STAB is surprisingly not easy to resist when backed by a Choice Band, but it still requires some level of prediction. Was

Offensive Hazard Control (Armaldo) @ Heavy Duty Boots
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Ability: Sharpness
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Stone Axe
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake / Synthesis

Armaldo is one of the tier's best spinners rn, blessed with having Stone Axe that compresses it's Main STAB and hazards. Spin makes it clear away SR and Webs, the main forms of hazards rn, and the invaluable Knock Off cripples targets.

:Weezing-Galar:
GWeezing is the best physical wall in the tier, having a great 85/125 bulk and access to reliable recovery. GWeezing has problems with big Medicham, and special attackers in general annoy this threat. That being said, it currently can be partnered to very easily blank most breakers in the tier rn.

Weezing-Galar @ Rocky Helmet / Black Sludge
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Ability: Neutralizing Gas / Levitate
Bold Nature
- Strange Steam
- Moonlight
- Will-O-Wisp
- Toxic / Defog / Toxic Spikes

Simple wall set. No offensive Grounds currently exist ATM, but plenty of ability reliant breakers are around, so Neutralizing Gas is the ability of choice. Levitate does still exist as a cool option to dodge Spikes and technically wall Camerupt more.

:camerupt:
Probably the most splashable Pokémon in the tier rn, Camerupt is probably all around the best Mon around, being able to comfortably wall most offensive mons available. It can spread burns, set SR and check set up sweepers.

Camerupt @ Leftovers / Heavy Duty Boots
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Ability: Flame Body / Unaware
Bold Nature
- Earth Power
- Slack Off
- Lava Plume / Fire Spin
- Stealth Rock / Will-O-Wisp

Eats a hit from physical attackers and can punish them with potential Flame Body. Not a lot of notable set up sweepers you can beat right now so Unaware is less valuable rn. Checks Delibird, Zebstrika and fight off Medicham.

:vikavolt:
Honestly, Vikavolt sucks. It's only use rn is to set Sticky Web, but the tier currently has little use for them either. It doesn't help that the tier already has a Magic Bounce user. Maybe once the tier has clear offensive options it gets better.

Vikavolt @ Heavy Duty Boots
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Ability: Levitate
Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Volt Switch
- Bug Buzz
- Thunderbolt

Not much else to say. Get up webs, pray that the best Pokémon in the tier isn't on their side. Die later.

:corsola:
Corsola is imo, the second best Pokemon in the tier right now, and is probably the best Pokémon in a vacuum. It get smacked by two of the three (four, sorry Armaldo) offensive mons in the tier with SE STAB options, but it's access to Regen and formidable 95/80/110 bulk means it can last a lot longer than the things that try to check it.

Corsola @ Chople Berry / Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Ability: Regenerator
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Earth Power
- Calm Mind

Probably the best set available ATM, CM is a fearsome wincon that benefits from easily blasting the only anti set up option for super effective STAB. Chople Berry allows it to get a one time free hit against the tier's resident fighter Medicham.

Corsola @ Heavy Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Stealth Rock / Toxic
- Toxic / Flip Turn / Earth Power

If you aren't running SR Camerupt for some reason, Corsola can operate as a useful replacement SR setter. Even if you don't run SR, SpD utility Corsola can still do a lot of good.

Corsola @ Assault Vest
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Ability: Regenerator
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Flash Cannon
- Flip Turn
- Earth Power

Walls the (singular) special attacker of the tier really well! Oh wait, it's weak to the terrain boosted STAB. Oh well!

:Zebstrika:
Zebstrika is a cool Pokémon that has the very unfortunate reality of being borderline helpless versus the best Pokémon in the tier, in a meta where the only thing that hits it SE is itself and another wall (that checks itself funnily enough). So yeah, Zebstrika absolutely needs the means to bypass Camerupt, but once it does, it can work as a great Pokémon.

Zebstrika @ Heavy Duty Boots
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Ability: Electric Surge
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Grass Knot
- Toxic

Set basically chips Camerupt with Toxic and GKnot until it's dead, after which it can use it's juicy Terrain boosted TBolts to kill everything else. If the Cam is dead, it's a pretty great Pokemon, sinceTbolt hits everything else (except Armaldo, sorry again) for big damage.

:Medicham:
A somewhat strong wallbreaker thanks to it's ability to smack around two of the biggest walls right now with it's STAB moved, Medicham comfortably exists as a decent mid speed breaker. Magic Bounce can block Rocks or a stray Wisp, which is pretty nice, hut it's best attribute is shitting on Webs. 120 Atk isn't as high as one would like but nothing resisting both STABs and the high BP of both help carry it.

Medicham @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Tera Type: Fighting
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Photon Geyser
- Knock Off / Triple Axel
- Recover / Bullet Punch / Trailblaze

Standard breaker set, Medicham can effectively smash walls since it hits really hard. Dual STAB smacks, Knock Off and Triple Axel can both be pretty good coverage options and you can choose whichever fits. Last slot depends on what your team wants. Recover heals chip, Bullet Punch is decent priority and if Jolly, Trailblaze can be good for cleaning.

Medicham @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Tera Type: Fighting
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Photon Geyser
- Triple Axel
- Trick

Not much else viably runs Scarf, so Medicham can serve as a Scarfer if the tier eventually requires it, but I can't say Scarf is big rn.

:delibird:
Delibird is an interesting Pokemon. It leads early on as a potential metagame leader but it's major shortcomings may prove it to be harder to thrive down the line. Delibird's movepool is extremely barren. Luckily it's stats and ability hard carry it, so it fulfils the role of a strong wallbreaker or offensive pivot.

Delibird @ Life Orb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Ability: Magic Guard
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Drill Run
- Spikes / Bulk Up
- Rapid Spin / Triple Axel

This set can be used to punch holes into many of the scariest threats in the tier rn thanks to unpunishable LO Brave Birds. Drill Run is (for now) acceptable coverage to smack walls that we face. Spikes can wear down threats to allow Delibird easier means to wallbreaking, and Bulk Up can turn it into a sweeper. Spin boosts speed and removes hazards, while Triple Axel is the next best move in it's arsenal for pure damage purposes.

That being said, the metagame needs more versatile glue options and some actual wallbreakers if it wants to be playable, but the rate voting is going OSP and friends seem to be hell-bent on making Micrometa Mafia 2: Multiverse of Midness, which is unfortunate.

apologies for the tardiness i was doing stuff

When Cheren began to feel a presence in the room, he commanded his Rayquaza to prepare an attack. "Surely," he reassured himself, "with my Rayquaza's sure hit effect, there's no way they can dodge my attack, even if I can't see--"

Suddenly, Rayquaza fell to the floor, as if afflicted. "What!? How did he negate my sure hit effect?"

"Imaginary Technique: Hollow Purple."

A bright violet light filled the room. The shadows from objects in the room shifted as the light grew more intense, as if threatening to swallow anything in its path whole. Cheren could do nothing but brace himself as his surroundings become nothing but the light.

As quickly as it entered the room, the purple light faded, letting the faint sunlight from the outside evening return. The light had seem to leave a hole in the wall of the room, the walls behind it, and Cheren, who now stood lifeless and defeated. As the final spark of life left his body, he could hear the voice of his assailant.

"Stand proud, Cheren, you're strong."
