Close Combat smashes through checks like Ferrothorn and Heatran and is an excellent coverage move versus the likes of Raging Bolt, while Dual Wingbeat hits 120 Base Power with Technician, OHKOing Urshifu-R and Ogerpon-W and 2HKOing Toxapex at +2. This spread gives Scizor maximum damage and outspeeds uninvested Gliscor, with enough bulk to avoid a 2HKO from offensive Garchomp's Earthquake. Mega Scizor defensively handling common powerhouses like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Weavile is fantastic for hyper offense teams, so staples like Dragonite, Serperior, and Landorus-T are excellent choices. Teammates like Raging Bolt and Gouging Fire that take on Fire-types for Mega Scizor are also fantastic, while it handles Grass- and Fairy-types in return. Wallbreakers like Ogerpon-W and Iron Valiant weaken Zapdos and Gouging Fire for Mega Scizor so it can sweep late-game, and it in turn slams Toxapex and Galarian Slowking.

Breakers like Ogerpon-W and Iron Valiant pair well with Mega Scizor so that it can sweep lategame. what do they weaken for msciz? ogerpon can weaken zap for msciz, while you could also reverse this and instead say how msciz weakens pex for both of them
