VGC Farigiraf

Farigiraf @ Throat Spray
Ability: Armor Tail
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 108 HP / 44 Def / 156 SpA / 196 SpD / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Hyper Voice
- Trick Room
- Protect

Everyone's favorite giraffe is back with a vengence! Farigiraf takes up a far more offensive profile in VGC's Regulation F, assisting frailer threats such as Flutter Mane and both Urshifu formes by blocking priority attacks such as Thunderclap and Fake Out, and Trick Room attempts from sweepers like Ursaluna-B, all while ramping up the pressure with Throat Spray. Farigiraf threatens an OHKO onto VGC staples Amoonguss and Urshifu-R after the boost, and with Trick Room paired with impressive bulk, Farigiraf can be a thorn in many teams' side. Protect allows Farigiraf to slip through weak leads in front of common threats such as Flutter Mane and Incineroar, allowing you to reposition in front of these threats and set up Farigiraf better. Other common Farigiraf checks include bulky Dark-types that can switch in on either STAB attack and threaten large damage. Flutter Mane and the Urshifu formes threaten said Dark-types and give the option of a faster mode for when Trick Room can not be set up. This Farigiraf set can often feel weak and frail if used improperly, but it can still take hits from top metagame threats like Terastallized Choice Specs Flutter Mane and Urshifu-R.

Everyone's favourite Giraffe is back, and with a vengence! Farigiraf takes up a far more offensive profile in VGC's Regulation F, assisting frailer threats such as Flutter Mane and both Urshifu formes (Correct term for formed that aren't strictly asthetic.) and by blocking priority and Trick Room sweepers like Ursaluna-B, all while ramping up the damage steadily (Not really steady.) with Throat Spray. Farigiraf threatens an OHKO onto VGC staples Amoonguss and Urshifu-Rapid Strike after Throat Spray, and with Trick Room access paired with Farigiraf's impressive bulk, Farigiraf can be a thorn in many teams side. Protect allows Farigiraf to slip through weak leads infront of common threats such as Flutter Mane and Incineroar, allowing you to reposition infront of these threats and setup Farigiraf better. Other common Farigiraf checks include Ghost and especially (Ghosts in general pretty rare and the most common one hates being under TR.) Dark Type special walls that can switch in on Farigiraf's stabs and stall turns infront of it (This is a little misleading as special walls don't really exist, 'Bulky Dark types' is the closest you can do and better to mention that they can threaten to remove Farigiraf rather than stall turns as you take 1 turn and then it can spam its other STAB.). Flutter Mane and the Urshifu formes threaten said Dark-types and create a faster mode for when Trick Room can not be set up. (You want to mention why the two are good partners somewhere.) This Farigiraf set can often feel weak and frail if used improperly, so it's important to use this set with the correct partners, including Scarf Urshifu-Rapid Strike, Rillaboom, and TR sweepers such as Ursaluna-Bloodmoon however It can still take hits from top metagame threats like Terastallized Choice Specs Flutter Mane and Urshifu-R. (It can get a bit repetitive so I moved Bloodmon up, you want to mention at least what the EVs are for.)

Everyone's favourite favorite giraffe is back, and with a vengence! Farigiraf takes up a far more offensive profile in VGC's Regulation F, assisting frailer threats such as Flutter Mane and both Urshifu formes by blocking priority (reads kind of confusingly without examples) and Trick Room attempts from sweepers like Ursaluna-B, all while ramping up the pressure with Throat Spray. Farigiraf threatens an OHKO onto VGC staples Amoonguss and Urshifu-R after Throat Spray the boost, and with Trick Room access paired with Farigiraf's impressive bulk, Farigiraf can be a thorn in many teams teams' side. Protect allows Farigiraf to slip through weak leads in(space)front of common threats such as Flutter Mane and Incineroar, allowing you to reposition in(space)front of these threats and set(space)up Farigiraf better. Other common Farigiraf checks include bulky Dark-types (AH) that can switch in on either stab STAB attack and threaten large damage. Flutter Mane and the Urshifu formes threaten said Dark-types and create give the option of a faster mode for when Trick Room can not be set up. This Farigiraf set can often feel weak and frail if used improperly, however but it can still take hits from top metagame threats like Terastallized Choice Specs Flutter Mane and Urshifu-R.
