  1. Low Ubers

Soul Dewless Latios would still be a huge ass threat to the metagame. It's faster and more powerful than SpecsMence, but without the horrible 4x Ice Weak or the SR weak, not to mention you might be able to make use of it's other STAB. On topic Wob. is a pretty crappy uber. In fact it's the only...

  3. What is the most overused and threatening pokemon of all?

I'm surprised more people haven't been answering Gyarados. That thing is simply monstrous. In addition why the hell isn't Gengar even an option on that poll? The unpredictability, the power, the speed, Gengar is a huge threat. Starmie isn't really a huge threat but it has been OU for 4...
  4. Shedinja question.

my team actually doesn't utilize spikes, sr, poison spikes, hail or ss. so when i made it i had to keep shedinja in mind at all times because the lack of these moves meant that it was indeed possible for shedinja to come in against me and live. 5 out of my 6 have a move that can hit shedinja...
  5. Who do YOU start with in battle?

    Gengar is probably one of the best leads out there. It's only real problem is it doesn't have godly speed. 350 is fast, but it's not fast enough. I hear good things about Bronzong but it seems like mere set up fodder to me, especially against the hyper offensive leads like Gengar. >.>;;
  6. Which is your signature pokemon?

*points to avatar* Bulbasaur is #1 yo!
  7. Do you use SR, Spikes or Toxic Spikes?

@WuddleBlock: Clefable and Mamoswine are both immune to hail damage and learn Stealth Rock. Try one out. Back on topic. It's not surprising to see that Stealth Rock is the most common of the three. I personally love what it does to Ninjask and Vespiquen. I've never had a problem with Heracross...
  8. Which pokemon are your archnemesis'?

Bronzong is the bane of my existance. It eats my face with all those resistances and Hypnosis. Skarmbliss + Starmie has been raping me lately. It's like it was made to counter everything those two can't.
  9. Do you use SR, Spikes or Toxic Spikes?

I've been wondering for awhile now how many people use these 3 moves. They all seem very useful and I always try to use as many as possible if I can, but the setup gives your opponent alot of free time and if they have a good spinner it's all wasted.
  10. Can Clefable become a special wall?

i personally can't stand blissey, sure it takes special hits even better than lugia, but it has no offense. it's nothing more than set-up fodder. Snorlax on the other hand is teh sex with that nice base 110 attack stat.
  11. Worst Type Combination

fire bug fire bug would suck so bad. 4x stealth rock weak and NO spikes immunity, that's 75% damage coming in. still other than rock it's weaknesses aren't so bad and it's STAB is nice. anything with a 4x weak is just crap IMO. rock/ice would be the absolute worse though, 4x steel and...

does Mirror Shot/Muddy Water violate the evasion clause?
  13. DP Tier Discussion Thread - BL and UU

abomasnow I think abomasnow should be UU. It's so weak. It's only got 60 base speed, which is just abysmal, and that huge list of weaknesses means it can easily be handled by a large number UU pokemon. It's weaknesses are... 4x Fire 2x Flying 2x Poison 2x Steel 2x Rock 2x Bug 2x Fighting and...
  14. Type Combos You Wish Existed (Hope Exist Later)

I've been thinking about this same thing alot recently and I was going to create this topic myself, until you beat me to it. I was thinking of type combinations for a potential 5th gen. Grass/Dragon Fire/Ghost Water/Bug Those as starters. A Grass Dragon would make a team of 6 4x Ice weaknesses...
  15. Union Room Battles

Alot of people around where I live use the Union Room. I like to chill in there with most of my team and just pwn them as none of them are really that good. I've been using FEAR Smeargle and a Drifblim, neither of which have been particularly useful. I've never heard anyone call it FEAR...
  16. Union Room Battles

For awhile now I've been wondering how one could possibly make a team that actually works in the union room. For anyone who didn't know the union room has this nasty little rule that you must have at least 2 pokemon that are level 30 or lower. This really hinders what you're able to do with...
  17. Pokemon you gave TOO MUCH credit...

Gliscor. I started using it because everyone was calling it the premier physical wall of the 4th gen, and cause it's a friggin flying scorpion, how cool is that? Anyways it really hasn't been doing me any good at all, I was using SR on it for awhile but it seemed to just die after setting up the...
  18. D/P Event Giveaways.

I live like 3 hours away, I'll see if I can get a day off work to go. I personally have no interest in any of these pokemon, but if I were to get a decent wish cresselia, I know alot of people who would trade me something nice for it.
  19. The Archmaster vs. The Great Sage

Thanks for all your advice everyone. Rhyperior is a huge pain in the ass for me. The Tyranitar thing bothered me alot too. I've already revised my movesets, Medicham has HJK now and I've learned to be a bit more careful with my Metagross and bit more secretive with Bullet Punch.
  20. The Archmaster vs. The Great Sage

I had absolutely no idea what Mesprit was going to do. I'm going to go through the entire analysis index later so I at least have an idea of what some of the less common threats can do. Like I said in a previous post this was my first battle with Medicham. I went with Drain Punch in an attempt...
