  1. The Monster - Peak: 1837 #52

Thanks for the rate, I was considering myself yesterday running some obscure bulky HP fighting Latias to deal with Char-Y, Keldeo and Special Attackers (and 2HKO TTar on switch while dealing with Bisharp), even considered sap sipper Azumarill as well. I do like the Assault Vest version better...
  2. The Monster - Peak: 1837 #52

Thanks for the replay, although it doesn't seem like it's working for me? Just shows up blank. Found the guy though and watched a replay of his, he didn't even keep the nicknames :/. Hey thanks super, I'm currently testing him out along with sylveon and the changes TCR mentioned, will keep...
  3. The Monster - Peak: 1837 #52

Thanks for the rate, I really like that Charizard spread, I have lost a 1 on 1 with Conkeldurr with my current spread and several mons earthquakes still do near 50% even after the burn. I did a couple calcs, Adamant Zard has a 68.8% chance to OHKO 252 HP Lati@s who think I'm a Y while Jolly does...
  4. The Monster - Peak: 1837 #52

Added a couple replays so you can see how it's supposed to work, I'll post more later thanks, though it wasn't my idea for the Char-X set
  5. The Monster - Peak: 1837 #52

With Nidoking, I have to play extremely careful, it needs to be worn down and I have to switch properly. Clefable moonblasts for about 20% avoiding the OHKO. Since Nidoking lacks anything outside of offensive moves, a sucker punch from there will KO. Ya, definitely not the best way to do things...
  6. The Monster - Peak: 1837 #52

Hey thanks, I haven't considered sylveon. Unaware is pretty situational yet important for me when things like nasty plot thundurus/dragon dance Dragonite boosts or the rare calm minders start calm minding. But sylveon seems like an interesting idea, I will try it out. Edit: sure do what you...
  7. awesome, thanks

    awesome, thanks
  8. The Monster - Peak: 1837 #52

Ya, I have had that problem moreso with the specs version as it hits like a truck. I've considered T-wave over nasty plot but not so much over Focus Miss. The issue with that Mega Tyranitar becomes a problem if it switches in on my Thundy. Then if it proceeds to dragon dance, my whole team bar...
  9. The Monster - Peak: 1837 #52

Thanks for the suggestion, I've definitely considered substitute but always felt the trap with Pursuit was more useful. I will give this a try as I've been on a mini losing streak

Now, I ain't much of a poet but I know somebody once told me To seize the moment and don't squander it 'Cause you never know when it all could be over tomorrow So I keep conjuring, sometimes I wonder where these thoughts spawn from. Hello everyone, Alex here. Probably not one of the...
  13. XY OU Mirror Mola - semi-stall (peaked #6)

Don't have much advice regarding BP as I don't play much semi-stall (usually I just boost alongside it). Although it might seem kind of hard to pull off, using your team alone, I believe it's possible to deal with BP. I too run a skarmory on my team and have played against BP in the upper most...
  14. Other OU Teambuilding Competition Round 5 [Entries OPEN See Post #294]

I've been climbing the ranks with my team and am now 1770, the main problems are definately the special water types namely Specs Keldeo and special wallbreakers in general like Char-Y. Keldeo usually takes down a mon or two before it goes down as Sp. Def Clefable is my best switch in to it and...
  15. Other OU Teambuilding Competition Round 5 [Entries OPEN See Post #294]

    Charizard @ Charizardite X Ability: Blaze EVs: 248 HP / 88 SDef / 172 Spd Adamant Nature - Dragon Claw - Roost - Earthquake - Will-O-Wisp Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spd Impish Nature - Roost - Brave Bird - Defog - Whirlwind Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb...
  16. Clefable is Strong (Peak #1 1422 ELO)

Minor nitpick on Mandibuzz, try bold nature if you're not running knock off as it lowers attack even more for the situational confusion and foul play.
  17. The Fast, Furious, and Frail

Agree with starmaster. I run the same 2 sweeper core of Luke and Weaknite with several support mons. The results are fantastic and I have yet to lose a smogon battle finder using that team. For weaknite, run ESpeed or Thunderpunch over fire punch, togekiss and Azumaril, the premier fairies stops...
