it has recently come to my attention that there is an official pokemon forums website. since smogon is now redundant, i hope the admins seriously consider deleting this website and migrating over to the new forum.

what do you all think? do you think smogon.com should be deleted or are you a fake fan of the pokemon series?

It’s so sad to live long enough to see the end of Smogon dot com. I’ve made so many memories of some quality here. Some bad, and others sort of okay. And of course all the people. The real forum Warriors. The Posters. The contributions made by all of you? Indescribable. Truly monumental stuff has been spoken here. All of this… It’s written history. It has *weight*. And to feel all of that history slip away like the sand in an hourglass? It breaks my heart.

It’s been a ride, Smogon, rest in power.

As a welcoming gesture, I offered our new overseas forum a gift. A reenactment of a popular thread from our glorious subforum.

They haven't approved the post.

Some may take this as a sign of weakness in management, that they have a backlog of posts that simply must be approved before they get to our gift.

I however view this as a declaration of war.

I will be enforcing a mandatory draft so that we may defend our subforum from the threat of these filthy otherforumers.
