Fire
========

Rotom-H is an excellent utility Pokemon on Fire-type teams due to its access to both Defog and dual screens, allowing teammates such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona to set up more easily. A slow Volt Switch allows it to pivot in its teammates to gain momentum and take advantage of its screens and Defog support as well as to chip down annoying Water- and Flying-types such as Suicune and Mantine, which can be somewhat troublesome for Fire-type teams. Levitate grants Rotom-H a Ground-type immunity, which bolsters its supportive and defensive capabilities. This also gives Rotom-H more opportunities to set screens, Defog away entry hazards, and generate momentum by switching in on Pokemon locked into a Ground-type attack such as Choice Band Excadrill. Rotom-H's Electric typing gives it useful resistances to Flying- and Electric-type attacks, allowing it to switch into Staraptor's Brave Bird for Volcarona or Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt for Mega Charizard Y. Unfortunately, its lack of reliable recovery leaves it very easily chipped down throughout the match, hindering its capabilities of fulfilling its supportive role. Rotom-H also relies on its weak Volt Switch to dish out damage to foes, leaving it susceptible to being taken advantage of by setup sweepers that take neutral damage from it or are immune to the move such as Landorus-T, Mega Latias, Kommo-o, and Mega Tyranitar. It receives competition from Torkoal as a hazard remover, but while Torkoal can set up Stealth Rock for the team, Rotom-H has access to the dual screens that Torkoal lacks. Rotom-H and Torkoal can, however, be used on the same team, as they can fulfill different roles.

Moves

Reflect gives setup sweepers such as Volcarona and Mega Charizard X better setup opportunities against Pokemon such as Dragonite and Swampert lacking Roar and allows the team to better check threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill. Light Screen bolsters the team's special bulk, allowing the aforementioned setup sweepers to set up against special attackers such as Latios, Porygon-Z, and Hydreigon. Defog allows Rotom-H to clear entry hazards from the field and remove opposing screens, allowing the team to more easily switch around and take advantage of its own screens. Rotom-H's slow Volt Switch allows it to pivot into a teammate in order to gain momentum and take advantage of the screens Rotom-H is able to set.

Set Details
========

248 HP EVs maximize Rotom-H's HP stat while allowing it to switch into Stealth Rock five times. 252 Special Defense EVs and a Calm nature allow Rotom-H to tank special attacks such as Life Orb Latios's Draco Meteor, Choice Scarf Nihilego's Power Gem after Stealth Rock damage, and Choice Specs Seismitoad's Scald. The rest of the EVs are invested into Defense to help it take physical attacks better. Light Clay allows its screens to stay up for eight turns rather than five.

Usage Tips
========

Rotom-H should switch in on predicted Ground-type attacks for its teammates, but it should be careful of Pokemon with other powerful STAB attacks that could severely weaken it such as Garchomp's Devastating Drake. It should also watch out for Pokemon whose abilities or moves ignore Levitate such as Mold Breaker Excadrill with Earthquake, Kyurem-B with Earth Power, and Landorus with Gravity. Rotom-H should try to switch in when Stealth Rock is being set up to be able to clear away entry hazards without taking the chip damage unless it is up against certain Stealth Rock setters such as Tyranitar that threaten it. As soon as all of the checks to Volcarona, Mega Charizard X, and Z-Celebrate Victini have been weakened, Rotom-H should set up screens and bring them in with Volt Switch so they can easily set up and proceed to clean. Due to Fire-types being weak to Stealth Rock, it is extremely important to keep Rotom-H healthy throughout the battle so that it can consistently remove hazards. Do not allow setup sweepers such as Mega Gallade to take advantage of Rotom-H's passive nature by pivoting into a check such as Choice Scarf Blacephalon. Instead of switching into a wallbreaker directly, use Rotom-H as a slow pivot with Volt Switch once hazards are cleared to keep your wallbreakers, setup sweepers, and cleaners such as Volcarona and Mega Charizard X healthy. Due to Rotom-H's only attacking move being Volt Switch, Taunt users such as Gliscor can easily shut it down and prevent it from clearing hazards or setting up screens. Since Rotom-H is not intrinsically slow, it should be careful of pivoting out of wallbreakers or slower threats such as Tyranitar, which can OHKO or heavily damage a majority of the team with Stone Edge. Rotom-H should hard switch out to another Pokemon rather than Volt Switching when faced with Pokemon that can set up hazards while also threatening it, such as Armaldo.

Team Options
========

Wallbreakers such as Infernape and Blacephalon appreciate Rotom-H's ability to safely bring them in. Choice Band Infernape can take on Pokemon such as Chansey and can 2HKO Staraptor with Close Combat while also being able to revenge kill key threats with Mach Punch such as Choice Scarf Greninja and Excadrill in sand with minimal prior chip damage. Choice Specs Blacephalon in return can take care of annoying Pokemon for Rotom-H such as Mew, which can prevent Rotom-H from setting screens with Taunt and clear them away with Defog. Revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Infernape and Blacephalon appreciate Rotom-H's ability to clear away hazards from the field, allowing them to take care of Choice Scarf Nihilego and Life Orb Latios, respectively. Setup sweepers such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona appreciate Rotom-H's ability to set screens, clear hazards, and safely pivot them in with Volt Switch, allowing them to set up and sweep with more ease. Rotom-H appreciates Mega Charizard X's ability to take care of annoying Pokemon such as Dragonite and sweep through Water-type teams at +2 with Dragon Claw and Earthquake, while Volcarona can take care of Water-, Rock-, and Ground-types such as Seismitoad, which can not only set up Stealth Rock and remove Rotom-H's Light Clay with Knock Off but also prevent Rotom-H from safely bringing out a teammate with Volt Switch. Heatran is a nice specially defensive tank that is able to take on key threats such as Nihilego and Mega Diancie that do not have Earth Power. Heatran can also set up Stealth Rock to chip opposing Defoggers, limiting their ability to remove screens set by Rotom-H. Victini is a fantastic wallbreaker with virtually no switch-ins to sun-boosted V-create bar walls like Hippowdon and Toxapex. Victini also can cripple Pokemon holding Eviolite such as Chansey and Porygon2 with Trick. In return, Victini benefits from Rotom-H's ability to pivot it in safely with Volt Switch and its immunity to Ground-type attacks. Victini can also use Z-Celebrate, which allows it to take out some problematic Pokemon such as Heatran on Steel-type teams with +1 Focus Blast. Mega Charizard Y is also a fantastic wallbreaker and appreciates Rotom-H's ability to clear Stealth Rock, and in return, it can threaten Rock-, Ground-, and Water-type Pokemon such as Swampert and Keldeo with Solar Beam. Volcanion is immune to Water-type attacks, allowing it to easily come in on threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and OHKO it with Choice Specs-boosted Sludge Wave or Bloom Doom. Volcanion also appreciates Rotom-H's ability to remove hazards from the field, as it can switch into more Water-type attacks with hazards removed. Torkoal can also be used as a secondary hazard remover with Rotom-H and is able to set up harsh sunlight, allowing setup sweepers such as Z-Celebrate Victini and Mega Charizard X to even further take advantage of Rotom-H's screens.

Rotom-H can use a set of Will-O-Wisp / Defog / Volt Switch / Overheat with Leftovers, allowing it to cripple the other team with Will-O-Wisp and switch into hazards more times; however, the lack of dual screen support gives setup sweepers like Mega Charizard X less opportunities to set up. Overheat allows Rotom-H to hit Ground-types such as Excadrill and Landorus, which it could not with Volt Switch. Leftovers sets can also run Thunder Wave to slow down faster threats, allowing the team's wallbreakers and sweepers to clean late-game with ease. Choice Scarf allows it to take on a more offensive pivot role with Overheat / Volt Switch / Hidden Power Ice / Defog. A Choice Scarf set lures in typical checks such as Landorus-T and Garchomp, which can usually use Rotom-H as setup fodder, and heavily damage them with Hidden Power Ice. However, Pokemon such as Infernape, Blacephalon, and Victini are much better Choice Scarf Pokemon for Fire-type teams, while Rotom-H is better used with a utility set.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------
**Fast Water-types**: Water-type Pokemon such as Choice Specs Keldeo and Kingdra threaten Rotom-H's ability to clear hazards and set up screens due to their naturally higher Speed and are able to OHKO Rotom-H with their Water-type STAB attacks, though they fail to do so in the sun. Pokemon such as Mega Swampert and Seismitoad are especially annoying, as they not only outspeed Rotom-H and OHKO it with their strong STAB attacks but also can continually set up Stealth Rock in front of it without fearing Volt Switch. However, Mega Swampert should scout for Rotom-H variants with Will-O-Wisp before it tries to set up Stealth Rock in front of it.

**Ground-type Pokemon**: Ground-type Pokemon are immune to Rotom-H's only attacking move in Volt Switch, allowing them to freely come in and continually set up Stealth Rock or force Rotom-H out with their powerful attacks. Garchomp and Excadrill can both easily set up Swords Dance in front of Rotom-H and OHKO it with a boosted Devastating Drake or Rock Slide, respectively. Landorus can use Rotom-H to set up a free Gravity, allowing it to threaten every switch-in with Earth Power.

**Rock-types**: Offensive Rock-type Pokemon such as Mega Diancie and Terrakion outspeed Rotom-H and threaten to OHKO it with their strong STAB attacks.

**Defog**: Defog users such as Latios and Mew can clear the field of the screens Rotom-H sets. Gliscor and Landorus-T can also Defog away screens and are immune to Rotom-H's Volt Switch.

**Taunt**: Since Rotom-H is reliant on support moves to benefit the team, Pokemon such as Tapu Koko that carry Taunt completely shut it down. However, Taunt users can be used by Rotom-H to gain momentum with Volt Switch. Unfortunately, Krookodile specifically outspeeds Rotom-H and also is immune to Volt Switch.

**Wallbreakers**: Due to Rotom-H's low Speed tier, it is vulnerable to being outsped and OHKOed before Defogging away hazards or setting up screens by faster wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Keldeo, Devastating Drake Garchomp, and Life Orb Earth Power Kyurem-B.

**Trick**: Choiced Trick users such as Choice Scarf Latios, Gengar, and Victini can cripple Rotom-H by taking away its Light Clay and locking it into using one move.

**Residual Damage**: Toxic, Stealth Rock, and other forms of chip damage limit Rotom H's longevity, limiting its opportunities to switch in, clear hazards from the field, and set up screens. Pokemon such as Hippowdon can set up Stealth Rock, poison Rotom-H with Toxic, and chip it with sand damage. Due to the fact that Rotom-H relies on Light Clay to extend the turn of its screens, it is not able to carry Leftovers, making residual damage and switching into Stealth Rock harder to deal with.

**Mold Breaker Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Kyurem-B and Excadrill, with access to powerful Ground-type attacks such as Earth Power and Earthquake, ignore Levitate due to their abilities and can OHKO Rotom-H.

[OVERVIEW]

Fire
========

* Rotom-H is the primary Defog user on Fire-type teams due to the fact it is one of the few with access to Defog and being also to easily setup Light Screen and Reflect which help teammates such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona setup easier.
* Volt Switch allows it to slowly pivot in its teammates to gain momentum and take advantage of its screens and Defog support. Volt Switch also helps chip down annoying Water- and Flying pokemon such as Suicune and Mantine with Volt Switch which can be somewhat troublesome for the type.
* Levitate allows it to become the most solid Ground-type immunity the type has to offer which also makes it a more proficient support pokemon being immune to one the the types biggest weaknesses.
* Its lack of reliable recovery unfortunately leave it more prone to being chipped down very easily through the match not being able to take the most advantage of its supportive role.
* It is super easy to take advantage of Rotom-Heat due to its passive nature with access to Volt Switch as its attacking move. This allows setup sweepers such as Garchomp, Landorus-T and a handful of other pokemon that easily can take a Volt Switch and use it as setup bait.
* It receives competition from Torkoal as the teams hazard remover as both can clear hazards but Torkoal can also setup Stealth Rocks for the team however Rotom-H has access to screens to more than make up for not being able to set hazards.

Moves

* Light Screen and Reflect increase the teams defense by two stages allowing itself and its teammates such as Infernape and Blacephalon to more easily clean and Mega Charizard X and Volcarona to more easily be able to setup.
* Defog allows it to clear hazards from the field and opposing screens allowing the team to more easily switch around and take advantage of its screens.
* Volt Switch allows it to slow pivot into a teammate in order to gain momentum and better take advantage of the screens Rotom-H is able to set.

Set Details
========

* 248 HP maximizes its HP stat while allowing it to only take 24% chip damage from Stealth Rock allowing it to switchin 5 times, rather than 4.
* 252 SpD and a Calm Nature allows Rotom-H to tank special attacks such as Life Orb Latios's Draco Meteor and Specs Seismitoad's Scald.
* 8 Speed allows it to outpace other Rotom especially Rotom-Wash and setup a Light Screen to tank Hydro Pump better while sitting at a nice speed of 210.
* 0 Attack IVs allow Rotom-Heat to take minimal damage from Foul Play.
*Light Clay allows its screens to stay up for 8 turns rather than 5.

Usage Tips
========

* Rotom-H should switchin on predicted Ground-type attacks to prevent a game of sacking because it is immune to most Ground-type attacks however it should be careful for pokemon with other coverage that could severely weaken it such as Garchomp's Z Outrage Devastating Drake. It should also watch out for pokemon that abilities or moves ignore Levitate such as Mold Breaker Excadrill's Earthquake, Kyurem-Black's Earth Power and Landorus' Gravity.
* Rotom-H should try to switchin when Stealth Rock is being setup to be able to clear away hazards without taking the chip damage from Stealth Rock.
* Whenever you have weakened the opponents team enough that your sweeper can clean through the opponent setup screens and pivot into pokemon such as Volcarona with Volt Switch so it can fully take advantage of the screens.
* It's most Fire-type teams primary way of keeping hazards off the field so keeping it healthy throughout the battle so it can constantly clear hazards.
* Pokemon that can take advantage of its passive nature should not be given the chance to fully take advantage of its passiveness and setup so only the most necessary move like clearing hazards should be the reason you do not pivot out it immediately.
* Mention how you can get off a slow Volt Switch against fast Pokemon like Tapu Koko to generate momentum and bring in a revenge killer safely.

Team Options
========

* Infernape can run a Choice Scarf set which allows it to outpace keys threats like Scarf Excadrill or Scarf Nihilego and OHKO them respectively with Close Combat or Earthquake. Infernape can also run a Choice Band set which allows it to OHKO pokemon Chansey and 2OHKO Staraptor after Stealth Rock chip. Mention how Choice Band sets can revenge kill Choice Scarf Greninja and Excadrill in sand.
* Torkoal sets Drought which allows Rotom-H to better take Water-type attacks and acts as a secondary hazard remover while also being able to setup Stealth Rock.
* Blacephalon appreciates Rotom-H's ability to safely pivot it into battle with Volt Switch due to how naturally frail it is and is very limited on switching in on it's own. Then Blacephalon can take care of problematic Pokemon such as Hippowdon this isn't the best example since Choice Scarf Blace can't beat it, and Specs Blace needs a roll on Fire Blast. A better example would be Garchomp., and Mew which can clear set Stealth Rocks or clear it's screens away respectively.
* Mega Charizard X appreciates Rotom-H's ability to set screens allowing it to more easily setup Dragon Dance. Charizard X also can take care of annoying Dragon-type pokemon such as Dragonite for it and be able to sweep Water-type teams at +2 Speed and Attack. Mention how it appreciates Rotom-H's hazard removal.
* Volcarona appreciates the screens Rotom-H sets up as it can more easily setup Quiver Dance and is able to take on annoying Rock- and Water-Type pokemon for Rotom-H such as Rhyperior Rhyperior isn't the most relevant example. I'd use Seismitoad as an example instead, especially since it can Knock Off Rotom-H's Light Clay. and Swampert with Giga Drain.
* Heatran is a nice Specially Defensive tank that is able to take on key threats such as Nihilego and Mega Diancie that do not have Earth Power. Heatran can also setup Stealth Rock which chips opposing Defoggers preventing the amount of switchins they have to remove screens set by Rotom-H.
* Victini is a fantastic wallbreaker with virtually having no switchins to Sun boosted V-Create which has limited switchins like Hippowdon and Toxapex. Victini also can cripple pokemon like fat pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon2 by Tricking away their Eviolite making them much easier to take down.
* Mega Charizard Y is a fantastic wallbreaker and appreciates its ability to clear hazards and in return can threaten Rock-, and Water-type pokemon such as Omastar Again, not a very relevant example, especially since Omastar doesn't even threaten Fire that much. Hippowdon would be a much better example here, especially with the later comment about sand. and Keldeo with Solar Beam. Charizard Y can also interfere with opposing teams Rain and Sand which both heavily threaten Fire-type teams.
* Volcanion is immune to Water-type attacks allowing it to easily come in on threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and OHKO it with Sludge Wave. Volcanion also appreciates Rotom-H's ability to remove hazards from the field as it can switch into more Water-type attacks with hazards removed.

* Leftovers allows Rotom-H to take on a different set of Will-O-Wisp, Defog, Volt Switch and Overheat allowing Rotom to cripple the other team and switch into hazards more times however this no longer allows Rotom and its teammates to take advantage of screens giving sweepers like Mega Charizard X a harder time setting up.
* Choice Scarf allows it to take on a more offensive pivot role with Overheat, Volt Switch, HP Ice and Defog which allows Rotom-H to remove hazards from the field. Just useless fluff, since the reader will already know what Defog does. However pokemon such as Infernape, Blacephalon and Victini are much better Choice Scarf pokemon for Fire teams while Rotom-Heat is better used as utility.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------
**Water-Types**: Water-type Pokemon such as Choice Specs Keldeo and Mega Swampert threaten its ability to clear hazards and setup screens due to naturally being faster, and able to OHKO Rotom-Heat. I feel like Mega Swampert deserves its own section, since it's immune to Volt Switch and can beat Rotom-H 1v1 while consistently getting up Stealth Rock.

**Rock-Types**: Rock-type Pokemon as well threaten it with their strong Rock-type STAB attacks such as Mega Diancie and Terrakion being able to OHKO.

**Taunt and Defog**: Since Rotom-Heat is reliant on support moves to benefit the team Pokemon such as Tapu Koko which carry Taunt completely shuts it down. Krookodile deserves a special mention because not only does it outspeed Rotom-Heat but also is immune to Volt Switch completely rendering it useless. Defog users such as Staraptor and Mandibuzz can clear the field of the screens Rotom-Heat sets. Gliscor, and Landorus deserve a special mention as they are the only defoggers that are not threatened by its Volt Switch.

**Trick**: Choice locked Trick users such as Scarf Latios, Gengar, and Victini can cripple Rotom-Heat by tricking away its Light Clay and lock it into using one move.

**Residual Damage**: Toxic, Stealth Rocks and other forms of chip limit its longevity preventing Rotom-Heat from continuing to switchin, clear hazards from the field, and setup screens. Pokemon such as Hippowdon can setup Stealth Rock, Toxic Rotom-Heat and chip it with sand damage severely cutting short its ability to switchin.

**Mold Breakers**: Pokemon such as Kyurem-Black and Excadrill with access to powerful Ground-type attacks such as Earth Power and Earthquake respectively can OHKO Rotom-Heat due to the fact their special abilities ignore its Levitate.
There are also some serious grammatical issues scattered around, so I'd suggest fixing those

I would remove the part about "Pokemon that easily can take a volt switch" as pretty much anything barring weaknesses take very little damage from Volt Switch. Plus, Rotom-H would be using Volt Switch to pivot out of setup sweepers (slowly) therefore going to a Pokemon that can handle them. If you're vs a Pokemon that can stat boost that is immune to Electric (such as Garchomp), you have to risk the hard switch rather than a slow pivot which could result in your switch-in taking damage.

* 0 Attack IVs allow Rotom-Heat to take minimal damage from Foul Play. I don't think this is necessary as it applies to basically every single Special Attacker and we don't put it in every analysis.
*Light Clay allows its screens to stay up for 8 turns rather than 5.

Usage Tips
========

* Rotom-H should switchin on predicted Ground-type attacks to prevent a game of sacking because it is immune to most Ground-type attacks however it should be careful for pokemon with other coverage that could severely weaken it such as Garchomp's Devastating Drake. It should also watch out for pokemon that abilities or moves ignore Levitate such as Mold Breaker Excadrill's Earthquake, Kyurem-Black's Earth Power and Landorus' Gravity. What does "a game of sacking" mean? That's a really weird phrase.
I know what you're saying here, but this is phrased extremely oddly. Can you scrap the sentence and rewrite it?
* It's most Fire-type teams primary way of keeping hazards off the field so keeping it healthy throughout the battle so it can constantly clear hazards. This is also phrased extremely oddly. "Due to Fire being weak to Stealth Rock, it it extremely important to keep Rotom-H healthy throughout the battle, so that it can consistently remove hazards."
* Pokemon that can take advantage of its passive nature should not be given the chance to fully take advantage of its passiveness and setup so only the most necessary move like clearing hazards should be the reason you do not pivot out it immediately. Yet another very awkward phrasing. You're basically saying to not give setup sweepers the chance to setup and to pivot out as soon as you can - just be clear and concise.
* Instead of switching out on to a wallbreaker use Rotom-Heat as a slow pivot with Volt Switch to keep your wallbreakers, setup sweepers and cleaners healthy such as Volcarona or Mega Charizard X.
*Talk about Taunt Pokemon shutting Rotom-H down.

Team Options
========

Infernape's Choice Band set can revenge kill Choice Scarf Greninja and Excadrill in sand with minimal chip damage. State that Choice Band KOs those two Pokemon with Mach Punch, specifically.
* Torkoal sets Drought which allows Rotom-H to better take Water-type attacks and acts as a secondary hazard remover while also being able to setup Stealth Rock. I wouldn't include Torkoal, you don't have room to include both on the same team if you're using the screens set, it makes your team way too passive.
* Blacephalon appreciates Rotom-H's ability to safely pivot it into battle with Volt Switch due to how naturally frail it is and is very limited on switching in on it's own. Then Blacephalon can take care of problematic Pokemon such as Garchomp, and Mew which can clear set Stealth Rocks or clear it's screens away respectively. Pick a different example than Garchomp, you can't slowly pivot off of Garchomp which is what you're talking about taking advantage of.
* Mega Charizard X appreciates Rotom-H's ability to set screens allowing it to more easily setup Dragon Dance. Mega Charizard X also can take care of annoying Dragon-type pokemon such as Dragonite for it and be is able to sweep Water-type teams at +2 Speed and Attack. Mega Charizard X also appreciates Rotom-Heat's ability to clear away hazards with Defog allowing it to switchin and setup a sweep much easier.
* Volcarona appreciates the screens Rotom-H sets up as it can more easily setup Quiver Dance and is able to take on annoying Rock- and Water-Type pokemon for Rotom-H such as Seismitoad and Swampert with Giga Drain. Since this section is so long, I would personally just combine the two sentences about MCharX and Volcarona. They're both setup sweepers who take advantage of Screens and hazard removal.
Victini also can cripple pokemon like fat Eviolite pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon2 by Tricking away their Evioliteitem making them much easier to take down.
* Mega Charizard Y is a fantastic wallbreaker and appreciates its ability to clear hazards and in return can threaten Rock-, and Water-type pokemon such as Hippowdon and Keldeo with Solar Beam. Charizard Y can also interfere with opposing teams Rain and Sand which both heavily threaten Fire-type teams. However Mega Charizard Y should be careful when using Solar Beam if Hippowdon is healthy and can easily set sand or Pelipper respectively with Rain. Last sentence doesn't have to do with Rotom-H.

**Mega Swampert**: Mega Swampert deserves a special mention as it can not only outspeed and OHKO Rotom-H with its strong STAB attacks and its ability to continually setup Stealth Rock in front of it without fearing Volt Switch. Mega Swampert should scout for Rotom-H variant's with Will-O-Wisp before it tries to setup Stealth Rocks in front of it. I don't agree with Mega Swampert having its own section as what you've written here applies to a lot of Pokemon, not just MSwamp.

**Fast Water-Types**: Water-type Pokemon such as Choice Specs Keldeo and Kingdra threaten its ability to clear hazards and setup screens due to naturally being faster, and able to OHKO Rotom-Heat. Change to fast Water-types as slower ones obvious would just be pivoted out on; also you talk about them being naturally faster.

Add in Ground-type Pokemon as they're immune to Volt Switch and can take advantage of Rotom-H by setting up. Specifically could mention Garchomp and Landorus.
Make sure to capitalize all instances where you say "Pokemon", specific attacks, or specific items. Also, make sure you refer it as Rotom-H not Rotom-Heat. Can check the Smogon style guide here if you're not sure about something. Just makes GP easier when that rolls around. Like smub said, there's a lot of weird phrasing and grammar issues (commas please), so it might help to read it out loud.

[OVERVIEW]

Fire
========

* Rotom-H is the primary Defog user on Fire-type teams due to the fact it is one of the few with access to Defog and being also to easily setup Light Screen and Reflect which help teammates such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona setup easier. Replace "primary defog user" with "excellent utility Pokemon" so you don't repeat yourself. Utility also covers both Defog and Screens, which this bullet is about.
* Volt Switch allows it to slowly pivot in its teammates to gain momentum and take advantage of its screens and Defog support. Volt Switch also helps chip down annoying Water- and Flying-types such as Suicune and Mantine with Volt Switch which can be somewhat troublesome for the type.
* Levitate allows it to become the most solid Ground-type immunity the type has to offer which also makes it a more proficient support pokemon being immune to one the the types biggest weaknesses. Mention how this ground immunity helps Rotom-Heat as a support pokemon, giving it opportunities to set screens, defog, or generate momentum by forcing switches.
* Its lack of reliable recovery unfortunately leave it more prone to being chipped down very easily through the match not being able to take the most advantage of its supportive role.
* Rotom-H relies on its weak Volt Switch to dish off damage to opponents, leaving it very easily to be taken advantage of by setup sweepers that take neutral or are immune to the move such as Landorus-T, Volcarona, and Mega Tyranitar. Volcarona isn't worth mentioning, since it doesn't really threaten Fire as a type. Replace it with Mega Latias or Kommo-O.
* It receives competition from Torkoal as the teams hazard remover as both can clear hazards but Torkoal can also setup Stealth Rocks for the team however Rotom-H has access to screens to more than make up for not being able to set hazards. Torkoal and Rotom-Heat can be used on the same team, however. They don't directly compete.

* Add a bullet discussing Rotom-Heat's defensive utility with Flying / Electric resists and good bulk.

Moves
========

* Light Screen and Reflect increase the teams defense by two stages allowing itself and its teammates such as Infernape and Blacephalon to more easily clean and Mega Charizard X and Volcarona to more easily be able to setup. Separate this into two bullets for each move, and provide examples of threats that Reflect and Light Screen each help with i.e. Reflect helps Volcarona set up on Ground or helps Fire-type teams check Azumarill.
* Defog allows it to clear hazards from the field and opposing screens allowing the team to more easily switch around and take advantage of its screens.
* Volt Switch allows it to slow pivot into a teammate in order to gain momentum and better take advantage of the screens Rotom-H is able to set.

Set Details
========

* The rest of the EVs are dumped into Defense to help it take Physical attacks better.
* Light Clay allows its screens to stay up for 8 turns rather than 5.

Usage Tips
========

* Rotom-H should should switchin on predicted Ground-type attacks to prevent sacking other pokemon because it is immune to most Ground-type attacks however it should be careful for pokemon with other coverage that could severely weaken it such as Garchomp's Devastating Drake. It should also watch out for pokemon that abilities or moves ignore Levitate such as Mold Breaker Excadrill's Earthquake, Kyurem-Black's Earth Power and Landorus' Gravity. The second half of this bullet should be it's own bullet.
* Rotom-H should try to switchin when Stealth Rock is being setup to be able to clear away hazards without taking the chip damage from Stealth Rock. This isn't smart against every setter, such as Armaldo or Tyranitar.
* As soon as all of the checks to Volcarona, Mega Charizard X, and Z Celebrate Victini have been weakened Rotom-H should setup screens and pivot into them with Volt Switch so they can easily setup and proceed to clean.
* Due to Fire being weak to Stealth Rock, it it extremely important to keep Rotom-H healthy throughout the battle, so that it can consistently remove hazards.
* Do not allow setup sweepers to take advantage of Rotom-H's passive nature by giving them the chance to setup. Pivot out to a pokemon that can deal with the sweeper without giving it a chance to setup a sweep.
* Instead of switching out on to a wallbreaker use Rotom-H as a slow pivot with Volt Switch to keep your wallbreakers, setup sweepers and cleaners healthy such as Volcarona or Mega Charizard X. Clarify that this only applies once Stealth Rocks are cleared. If they aren't, preserving Rotom-Heat with a hard switch may take priority i.e. your fourth bullet.
* Due to Rotom-H's only attacking move being Volt Switch, Taunt can easily shut Rotom-H down and prevent it from doing its job of clearing hazards or setting up screens.

* Add a bullet about being careful using Volt Switch on slower threats such as Tyranitar or Seismitoad, since Rotom-Heat still outspeeds a fair amount of the meta and can't always bring in pokemon safely.
* Add a bullet (or discuss in another bullet) about when to hard switch with Rotom-Heat instead of Volt Switching, and when to Volt Switch instead of setting screens.

Team Options
========

Infernape's Choice Band set can revenge kill and OHKO Choice Scarf Greninja and Excadrill in sand with minimal chip damage. Choice Band Infernape greatly appreciates a slow pivot like Rotom-Heat to bring it in safely. Maybe bake this into a bullet on wallbreakers alongside Blacephelon.
* Blacephalon appreciates Rotom-H's ability to safely pivot it into battle with Volt Switch due to how naturally frail it is and is very limited on switching in on it's own. Then Blacephalon can take care of problematic Pokemon such as Mew which can set Stealth Rocks or clear it's screens away respectively.
* Setup sweepers such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona appreciate Rotom-H's ability to set screens, clear hazards, and safely pivot them in with Volt Switch. This allows them to setup and sweep with more ease. Rotom-H appreciates Mega Charizard X's ability to take care of annoying pokemon such as Dragonite and be able to sweep through Water-type teams at +2 with Dragon Claw and Earthquake. Rotom-H appreciates Volcarona's ability to take care of pokemon such as Water-, Rock-, and Ground-types such as Seismitoad, which can not only set rocks and Knock Off Rotom-H's Light Clay but prevents Rotom-H from safely bringing out a teammate with Volt Switch.
Victini also can cripple Eviolite pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon2 by Tricking away their item making them much easier to take down. How does Victini benefit from Rotom-Heat? Slow pivots? The bulk to check threats?
* Mega Charizard Y is a fantastic wallbreaker and appreciates its ability to clear hazards and in return can threaten Rock-, and Water-type pokemon such as Hippowdon and Keldeo with Solar Beam. Mega Charizard Y can also interfere with opposing teams Rain and Sand which both heavily threaten Fire-type teams. Hippowdon isn't the best example, since Stone Edge mixed defensive sets are designed explicitly to live a hit from Zard-Y and KO in return. Maybe mention Swampert instead. Also bring up Ground-types in the list of types Zard-Y threatens if you're going to use one as an example.
Volcanion does not OHKO Azumarill without a boosting item.

Fire
--------
* Leftovers allows Rotom-H to take on a different set of Will-O-Wisp, Defog, Volt Switch and Overheat allowing Rotom to cripple the other team and switch into hazards more times however this no longer allows Rotom and its teammates to take advantage of screens giving sweepers like Mega Charizard X a harder time setting up. Note that running Overheat lets Rotom-Heat threaten Ground-types. This set can also use Thunder Wave.
* Choice Scarf allows it to take on a more offensive pivot role with Overheat, Volt Switch, HP Ice and Defog. However Pokemon such as Infernape, Blacephalon and Victini are much better Choice Scarf Pokemon for Fire teams while Rotom-H is better used as utility.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------
**Fast Water-Types**: Water-type Pokemon such as Choice Specs Keldeo and Kingdra threaten its ability to clear hazards and setup screens due to naturally being faster, and able to OHKO Rotom-H. Pokemon such as Mega Swampert and Seismitoad are especially annoying as they can not only outspeed and OHKO Rotom-H with its strong STAB attacks and its ability to continually setup Stealth Rock in front of it without fearing Volt Switch. However Mega Swampert should scout for Rotom-H variant's with Will-O-Wisp before it tries to setup Stealth Rocks in front of it. Note that Sun can ease Rotom-heat's matchup with water types; Keldeo and Kingdra don't actually OHKO Rotom-Heat in Sun. Also since two of your examples are Mega Swampert and Seismitoad, I would just title this bullet "Water-types".

**Ground-type Pokemon**: Ground-type Pokemon are immune to Rotom-H's only attacking move in Volt Switch allowing them to freely come in and continually setup Stealth Rocks or force Rotom-H out with their powerful attacks. Garchomp and Excadrill can both easily setup Swords Dance in front of Rotom-H and OHKO it with boosted Devastating Drake or Rock Slide respectively. Landorus-I can use Rotom-H to setup a free Gravity allowing it to threaten every switchin.

**Rock-Types**: Rock-type Pokemon as well threaten it with their strong Rock-type STAB attacks such as Mega Diancie and Terrakion being able to OHKO. I'd also mention that most offensive Rock-types outspeed Rotom-Heat.

**Taunt and Defog**: Since Rotom-H is reliant on support moves to benefit the team Pokemon such as Tapu Koko which carry Taunt completely shuts it down. Krookodile deserves a special mention because not only does it outspeed Rotom-H but also is immune to Volt Switch completely rendering it useless. Defog users such as Staraptor and Mandibuzz can clear the field of the screens Rotom-H sets. Gliscor, and Landorus deserve a special mention as they are the only defoggers that are not damaged by its Volt Switch. Defoggers and Anti-Lead / Taunters should be separate bullets. Furthermore, it should be noted Rotom-Heat is able to pivot on most Taunt users with Volt Switch, with the noted exception of Krookadile, which can still throw momentum in your favor. When listing Defoggers, I would omit those that are threatened by Volt Switch i.e. Staraptor and Mandibuzz could be replaced with Latios and Mew.

**Trick**: Choice locked Trick users such as Scarf Latios, Gengar, and Victini can cripple Rotom-H by tricking away its Light Clay and lock it into using one move.

**Residual Damage**: Toxic, Stealth Rock, and other forms of chip limit its longevity preventing Rotom-H from continuing to switchin, clear hazards from the field, and setup screens. Pokemon such as Hippowdon can setup Stealth Rock, Toxic Rotom-H and chip it with sand damage severely cutting short its ability to switchin.

**Mold Breakers**: Pokemon such as Kyurem-Black and Excadrill with access to powerful Ground-type attacks such as Earth Power and Earthquake respectively can OHKO Rotom-H due to the fact their special abilities ignore its Levitate.

* Add a bullet for fast wallbreakers, since Rotom-Heat's bulk isn't outstanding and and gets shattered by wallbreakers who hit it before it can set screens.

Rotom-H is an excellent utility Pokemon on Fire-type teams due to the fact it is one of the few with access to Defog and being also to easily setup Light Screen and Reflect which help teammates such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona setup easier. Volt Switch allows it to slowly pivot in its teammates to gain momentum and take advantage of its screens and Defog support. Volt Switch also helps chip down annoying Water- and Flying-types such as Suicune and Mantine with Volt Switch which can be somewhat troublesome for the type. You could merge these two sentences to make it sound smoother Levitate allows it to become the most solid Ground-type immunity the type has to offer which also makes it a more proficient support pokemon being immune to one the the types biggest weaknesses. This gives Rotom-H more opportunities as a utility Pokemon to set screens, Defog away hazards, and can help generate momentum by switching in on Choice locked pokemon into a Ground-type attack such as Choice Band Excadrill. Rotom-H's primary Electric typing allows it to have a useful resistance against Flying-, and Electric-type attacks such as being able to switch into Staraptor's Brave Bird for Volcarona or Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt for Mega Charizard Y. Its lack of reliable recovery unfortunately leave it more prone to being chipped down very easily through the match not being able to take the most advantage of its supportive role. Rotom-H relies on its weak Volt Switch to dish off damage to opponents, leaving it very easily to be taken advantage of by setup sweepers that take neutral or are immune to the move such as Landorus-T, Mega Latias, Kommo-o, and Mega Tyranitar. It somewhat receives competition from Torkoal as the teams hazard remover as both can clear hazards but Torkoal can also setup Stealth Rocks for the team however Rotom-H has access to screens to more than make up for not being able to set hazards. Reflect allows the setup sweepers such as Volcarona and Mega Charizard X to better setup against pokemon such as Dragonite and Swampert lacking Roar and allows the team to better check threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill. Light Screen allows the teams setup sweepers to better setup against Special threats such as Latios and Porygon-Z and allows the team to better such Hydreigon. Defog allows it to clear hazards from the field and opposing screens allowing the team to more easily switch around and take advantage of its screens. Volt Switch allows it to slow pivot into a teammate in order to gain momentum and better take advantage of the screens Rotom-H is able to set.

Set Details

248 HP maximizes its HP stat while allowing it to only take 24% chip damage from Stealth Rock allowing it to switchin 5 times, rather than 4. 252 SpD and a Calm Nature allows Rotom-H to tank special attacks such as Life Orb Latios's Draco Meteor, Choice Scarf Nihilego's Power Gem after Stealth Rock chip, and Specs Seismitoad's Scald. The rest of the EVs are dumped into Defense to help it take Physical attacks better. Light Clay allows its screens to stay up for 8 turns rather than 5.

Usage Tips
========

Rotom-H should should switchin on predicted Ground-type attacks to prevent sacking other pokemon because it is immune to most Ground-type attacks however it should be careful for pokemon with other coverage other coverage isn't right phrase here other powerful STAB attacks something along those lines that could severely weaken it such as Garchomp's Devastating Drake. It should also watch out for pokemon that abilities or moves ignore Levitate such as Mold Breaker Excadrill's Earthquake, Kyurem-Black's Earth Power and Landorus' Gravity. Rotom-H should try to switchin when Stealth Rock is being setup to be able to clear away hazards without taking the chip damage from Stealth Rock unless it is against certain Stealth Rock setters such as Tyranitar and which threaten Rotom-H. As soon as all of the checks to Volcarona, Mega Charizard X, and Z Celebrate Victini have been weakened Rotom-H should setup screens and pivot into them with Volt Switch so they can easily setup and proceed to clean. Due to Fire being weak to Stealth Rock, it it extremely important to keep Rotom-H healthy throughout the battle, so that it can consistently remove hazards. Do not allow setup sweepers to take advantage of Rotom-H's passive nature by giving them the chance to setup an example here would give this line more substance. Pivot out to a pokemon that can deal with the sweeper without giving it a chance to setup a sweep. Instead of switching out on to a wallbreaker use Rotom-H as a slow pivot with Volt Switch once hazards are cleared to keep your wallbreakers, setup sweepers and cleaners healthy such as Volcarona or Mega Charizard X. Due to Rotom-H's only attacking move being Volt Switch, Taunt can easily shut Rotom-H down and prevent it from doing its job of clearing hazards or setting up screens you need to provide examples of what Taunt users give it trouble because sometimes it can easily Volt Switch out against them. Since Rotom-H is not super slow it should be careful on pivoting in wallbreakers on slower threats such as Tyranitar which can OHKO or heavily chip a majority of the team with Stone Edge. Rotom-Heat should hard switch into another pokemon rather than Volt Switching when a pokemon can continually set hazards up in front of Rotom-H and threaten it with its STAB attacks when another pokemon can check it such as Armaldo.

Team Options
========

Wallbreakers such as Infernape and Blacephalon appreciate Rotom-H's ability to safely pivot them in with access to slow Volt Switch. Choice Band Infernape can take on pokemon such as Chansey and can 2OHKO Staraptor with Close Combat while being able to revenge kill keys threats with Mach Punch such as Choice Scarf Greninja and Excadrill in Sand with minimal chip damage. Choice Specs Blacephalon in return can take care of annoying pokemon for Rotom-Heat such as Mew which can Taunt Rotom-H from setting screens and clear them away with Defog. Revenge Killers appreciate Rotom-H's ability to clear away hazards from the field and in Choice Scarf Infernape and Blacephalon return can take care of Choice Scarf Nihilego and Life Orb Defog Latios for Rotom-H respectively. Setup sweepers such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona appreciate Rotom-H's ability to set screens, clear hazards, and safely pivot them in with Volt Switch. Heatran is a nice Specially Defensive tank that is able to take on key threats such as Nihilego and Mega Diancie that do not have Earth Power. Victini is a fantastic wallbreaker with virtually having no switchins to Sun boosted V-Create which has limited switchins like Hippowdon and Toxapex. Victini also can cripple Eviolite pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon2 by Tricking away their item making them much easier to take down. Victini benefits from Rotom-H's ability to pivot it in safely with Volt Switch and act as a Ground immunity for Victini. You need to mention z Celebrate Victini Mega Charizard Y is a fantastic wallbreaker and appreciates its ability to clear hazards and in return can threaten Rock-, Ground-, and Water-type pokemon such as Swampert and Keldeo with Solar Beam. Mega Charizard Y can also interfere with opposing teams Rain and Sand which both heavily threaten Fire-type teams this general statement really serves not purpose about Zard-Y and weather because it doesn't apply to why it is a good teammate just how it is good on fire teams in general. Volcanion is immune to Water-type attacks allowing it to easily come in on threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and OHKO it with Choice Specs Sludge Wave or Bloom Doom. Volcanion also appreciates Rotom-H's ability to remove hazards from the field as it can switch into more Water-type attacks with hazards removed. 0 Mention of Torkoal because Zard-x is almost always used with rotom-h torkoal is am ust because it can set up Stealth Rock along with Sun with its ability, drought

Leftovers allows Rotom-H to take on a different set of Will-O-Wisp, Defog, Volt Switch and Overheat allowing Rotom to cripple the other team and switch into hazards more times however this no longer allows Rotom and its teammates to take advantage of screens giving sweepers like Mega Charizard X a harder time setting up. Overheat allows Rotom-Heat to hit Ground-types such as Excadrill and Landorus which it could not with Volt Switch. Leftovers sets can also run Thunder Wave to slow down faster threats allowing the teams wallbreakers and sweepers an easier time cleaning late-game. Choice Scarf allows it to take on a more offensive pivot role with Overheat, Volt Switch, HP Ice and Defog you need to talk about how it lures certain Pokemon think Lando-I and Chomp Pokemon that normally would be safe. However Pokemon such as Infernape, Blacephalon and Victini are much better Choice Scarf Pokemon for Fire teams while Rotom-H is better used as utility.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------
**Fast Water-Types**: Water-type Pokemon such as Choice Specs Keldeo and Kingdra threaten its ability to clear hazards and setup screens due to naturally being faster, and able to OHKO Rotom-H however they fail to OHKO Rotom-H in Sun.

**Rock-Types**: Rock-type Pokemon as well threaten it with their strong Rock-type STAB attacks such as Mega Diancie and Terrakion being able to OHKO as most offensive Rock-type pokemon are able to outspeed it.

**Defog**: Defog users such as Latios and Mew can clear the field of the screens Rotom-H sets. Gliscor, and Landorus is this regular Lando or Therian because I haven't seen Defog Lando-I at all deserve a special mention as they are the only defoggers that are not damaged by its Volt Switch.

**Taunt**: Since Rotom-H is reliant on support moves to benefit the team Pokemon such as Tapu Koko which carry Taunt completely shuts it down however Taunt users can be used to gain momentum with Volt Switch by Rotom-H. Krookodile deserves a special mention because not only does it outspeed Rotom-H but also is immune to Volt Switch completely rendering it useless.

**Wallbreakers**: Due to Rotom-H's low speed tier it is vulnerable to being outspeed and OHKO'ed without being able to Defog away hazards or setup screens by faster wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Keldeo, Devastating Drake Garchomp, and Life Orb Earth Power Kyurem-Black.

You need to mention its lack of leftovers recovery hinders it greatly here making residual damage a bigger problem

**Mold Breakers**: Pokemon such as Kyurem-Black and Excadrill with access to powerful Ground-type attacks such as Earth Power and Earthquake respectively can OHKO Rotom-H due to the fact their special abilities ignore its Levitate.

[OVERVIEW]

Fire
========

Rotom-H is an excellent utility Pokemon on Fire-type teams due to its access to both Defog and dual screens, allowing the fact it is one of the few with access to Defog and being also to easily setup Light Screen and Reflect which help teammates such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona opportunities to set(space)up easier. A slow Volt Switch allows it to slowly pivot in its teammates to gain momentum and take advantage of its screens and Defog support, while and (remove space)also helps chipping down annoying Water-,(RC) and Flying-types such as Suicune,(RC) and Mantine,(AC) with Volt Switch which can be somewhat troublesome for the Fire-type teams. Levitate grants Rotom-H a allows it to become the most solid Ground-type immunity, which bolsters its support and defensive capabilities. the type has to offer which also makes it a more proficient support pokemon being immune to one the the types biggest weaknesses.(really long and filler ish) This also gives Rotom-H more opportunities as a utility Pokemon to set screens, Defog away hazards, and can help generate momentum by switching in on Choice locked pokemon Pokemon locked into a Ground-type attack such as Choice Band Excadrill. Rotom-H's primary Electric typing allows it to have gives it a useful resistance to against Flying-,(RC) and Electric-type attacks,(AC) allowing it to such as being able to switch into Staraptor's Brave Bird for Volcarona or Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt for Mega Charizard Y. Unfortunately, its Its lack of reliable recovery unfortunately leaves it more prone to being chipped down very easily throughout the match,(AC) hindering its capabilities of fulfilling its not being able to take the most advantage of its supportive role.(more prone suggests you're comparing it to something) Rotom-H also relies on its weak Volt Switch to dish out off damage to opponents, leaving it susceptible very easily to being taken advantage of by setup sweepers that take neutral damage from it or are immune to the move such as Landorus-T, Mega Latias, Kommo-o, and Mega Tyranitar. It somewhat receives competition from Torkoal as a the teams hazard remover,(AC) as both can clear hazards but while Torkoal can set up also setup Stealth Rocks for the team,(AC) however Rotom-H has access to dual screens that Torkoal lacks.(AP) to more than make up for not being able to set hazards. (unnecessary; also maybe mention Drought?) Rotom-H and Torkoal can however be used on the same team as they can fulfill different roles. do not directly just as hazard removers for Fire-type teams.

Reflect allows the setup sweepers such as Volcarona and Mega Charizard X to better set(space)up opportunities against Pokemon such as Dragonite and Swampert lacking Roar,(AC) and allows the team to better check threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill. Light Screen allows bolsters the team'(apostrophe)s special bulk, allowing the aforementioned setup sweepers to better set(space)up against special attackers Special threats such as Latios, Porygon-Z, and Hydreigon. Latios and Porygon-Z and allows the team to better such Hydreigon. (any reason why you chose to separate Hydreigon?) Defog allows it to clear hazards from the field and opposing screens,(AC) allowing the team to more easily switch around and take advantage of its own screens. Its slow Volt Switch allows it to slow pivot into a teammate in order to gain momentum and better take advantage of the screens Rotom-H is able to set. (a lot of "betters" in there)

248 HP EVs maximizes its HP stat while allowing it to only take 24% chip damage from Stealth Rock allowing it to switch(space)into Stealth Rock 5 times,(RC) rather than 4. 252 SpD Special Defense EVs and a Calm Nature allows Rotom-H to tank special attacks such as Life Orb Latios's Draco Meteor, Choice Scarf Nihilego's Power Gem after Stealth Rock chip damage, and Choice Specs Seismitoad's Scald. The rest of the EVs are invested dumped into Defense to help it take physical attacks better. Light Clay allows its screens to stay up for 8 turns rather than 5.

Usage Tips
========

Rotom-H should should switch(space)in on predicted Ground-type attacks for its teammates, but to prevent sacking other pokemon because it is immune to most Ground-type attacks however it should be careful for Pokemon with other powerful STAB attacks that could severely weaken it such as Garchomp's Devastating Drake. It should also watch out for Pokemon whose that abilities or moves ignore Levitate such as Mold Breaker Excadrill's Earthquake, Kyurem-Black's Earth Power,(AC) and Landorus' Gravity. Rotom-H should try to switch(space)in when Stealth Rock is being set(space)up to be able to clear away hazards without taking the chip damage from Stealth Rock,(AC) unless it is against certain Stealth Rock setters such as Tyranitar and which threaten Rotom-H. As soon as all of the checks to Volcarona, Mega Charizard X, and Z-(add hyphen)Celebrate Victini have been weakened,(AC) Rotom-H should set(space)up screens and pivot into them with Volt Switch so they can easily set(space)up and proceed to cleanup. Due to Fire-types being weak to Stealth Rock, it it is extremely important to keep Rotom-H healthy throughout the battle,(RC) so that it can consistently remove hazards. Do not allow set(space)up sweepers such as Mega Gallade to take advantage of Rotom-H's passive nature by giving them the chance to set(space)up such as Mega Gallade by pivoting out into a check such as Choice Scarf Blacephalon. Pivot out to a pokemon that can deal with the sweeper without giving it a chance to setup a sweep.(seems redundant since you just gave a specific example) Instead of switching into out on to a wallbreaker directly, use Rotom-H as a slow pivot with Volt Switch once hazards are cleared to keep your wallbreakers, setup sweepers,(AC) and cleaners healthy such as Volcarona and or Mega Charizard X. Due to Rotom-H's only attacking move being Volt Switch, Taunt users such as Gliscor can easily shut Rotom-H down and prevent it from doing its job of clearing hazards or setting up screens. Since Rotom-H is not super intrinsically slow it should be careful on of pivoting in wallbreakers on or slower threats such as Tyranitar which can OHKO or heavily damage chip a majority of the team with Stone Edge. Rotom-Heat should hard switch into another Pokemon rather than Volt Switching when faced with Pokemon who can set up hazards while also threatening it, such as Armaldo. a pokemon can continually set hazards up in front of Rotom-H and threaten it with its STAB attacks when another pokemon can check it such as Armaldo. (very confusing)

Wallbreakers such as Infernape and Blacephalon appreciate Rotom-H's ability to safely pivot them in with access to slow Volt Switch. Choice Band Infernape can take on Pokemon such as Chansey and can 2OHKO Staraptor with Close Combat while also being able to revenge kill keys threats with Mach Punch such as Choice Scarf Greninja and Excadrill in sand with prior minimal chip damage. Choice Specs Blacephalon in return can take care of annoying Pokemon for Rotom-Heat such as Mew which can prevent Taunt Rotom-H from setting screens with Taunt and clear them away with Defog. Revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Infernape and Blacephalon appreciate Rotom-H's ability to clear away hazards from the field, allowing them to take care of Choice Scarf Nihilego and Life Orb Latios, respectively. and in Choice Scarf Infernape and Blacephalon return can take care of Choice Scarf Nihilego and Life Orb Defog Latios for Rotom-H respectively. Setup sweepers such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona appreciate Rotom-H's ability to set screens, clear hazards, and safely pivot them in with Volt Switch, allowing.(RP) This allows them to set(space)up and sweep with more ease. Rotom-H appreciates Mega Charizard X's ability to take care of annoying Pokemon such as Dragonite and be able to sweep through Water-type teams at +2 with Dragon Claw and Earthquake.(RP),(AC) while Rotom-H appreciates Volcarona's ability to can take care of pokemon such as Water-, Rock-, and Ground-types such as Seismitoad, which can not only set up Stealth Rock rocks and Knock Off Rotom-H's Light Clay,(AC) but also prevents Rotom-H from safely bringing out a teammate with Volt Switch. Heatran is a nice specially defensive tank that is able to take on key threats such as Nihilego and Mega Diancie that do not have Earth Power. Heatran can also set(space)up Stealth Rock which chips opposing Defoggers,(AC) preventing limiting their ability to amount of switchins they have to remove screens set by Rotom-H. Victini is a fantastic wallbreaker with virtually having no switch-(AH)ins to sun boosted V-Create, bar walls like which has limited switchins like Hippowdon and Toxapex. Victini also can cripple Pokemon holding Eviolite Eviolite pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon2 with Trick. by Tricking away their item making them much easier to take down. Victini benefits from Rotom-H's ability to pivot it in safely with Volt Switch and its immunity to Ground-type attacks. act as a Ground immunity for Victini. Victini can also use Z-(AH)Celebrate, which allows it to take out some problematic Pokemon such as Heatran on Steel-type teams with +1 Focus Blast. Mega Charizard Y is also a fantastic wallbreaker and appreciates its Rotom-H's ability to clear Stealth Rock hazards,(AC)(since it only is affected by rocks) and in return can threaten Rock-, Ground-, and Water-type Pokemon such as Swampert and Keldeo with Solar Beam. Volcanion is immune to Water-type attacks,(AC) allowing it to easily come in on threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and OHKO it with Choice Specs Sludge Wave or Bloom Doom. Volcanion also appreciates Rotom-H's ability to remove hazards from the field,(AC) as it can switch into more Water-type attacks with hazards removed. Torkoal can also be used as a secondary hazard remover with Rotom-H and is able to set(space)up harsh sunlight Sun, allowing setup sweepers such as Z-(AH)Celebrate Victini and Mega Charizard X to even further take advantage of Rotom-H's screens.

**Fast Water-Ttypes**: Water-type Pokemon such as Choice Specs Keldeo and Kingdra threaten Rotom-H's ability to clear hazards and set(space) (comment not space)up screens due to naturally being faster, and are able to OHKO Rotom-H with their Water-type STAB attacks, but they fail to do so in the sun. However,(AC) Mega Swampert should scout for Rotom-H variants with Will-O-Wisp before it tries to set up Stealth Rock in front of it.

**Ground-type Pokemon**: Ground-type Pokemon are immune to Rotom-H's only attacking move in Volt Switch, allowing them to freely come in and continually set up Stealth Rocks or force Rotom-H out with their powerful attacks. Garchomp and Excadrill can both easily set up Swords Dance in front of Rotom-H and OHKO it with a boosted Devastating Drake or Rock Slide, (AC) respectively. Landorus can use Rotom-H to set up a free Gravity, (AC) allowing it to threaten every switch-(AH)in with Earth Power.

However, Taunt users can be used by Rotom-H to gain momentum with Volt Switch. Unfortunately, Krookodile specifically outspeeds Rotom-H and also is immune to Volt Switch.

**Wallbreakers**: Due to Rotom-H's low sSpeed tier, it is vulnerable to being outsped and OHKO'ed before Defogging away hazards or setting up screens by faster wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Keldeo, Devastating Drake Garchomp, and Life Orb Earth Power Kyurem-Black.

**Trick**: Choiced Trick users such as Choice Scarf Latios, Gengar, and Victini can cripple Rotom-H by tricking away its Light Clay and locking it into using one move.

**Residual Damage**: Toxic, Stealth Rock, and other forms of chip damage limit Rotom H's longevity, limiting its opportunities to switch in, clear hazards from the field, and set up screens. Pokemon such as Hippowdon can set up Stealth Rock, Toxic poison Rotom-H with Toxic, and chip it with sand damage, severely restricting Rotom-H's ability to switch in. Due to the fact that Rotom-H relies on Light Clay to extend the turn of its screens, it is not able to carry Leftovers, making residual damage and switching into Stealth Rock harder to deal with.

**Mold Breakers Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Kyurem-Black and Excadrill, (AC) with access to powerful Ground-type attacks such as Earth Power and Earthquake respectively, (AC) can OHKO Rotom-H due to the fact their special abilities ignore its Levitate.

[OVERVIEW]

Fire
========

Rotom-H is an excellent utility Pokemon on Fire-type teams due to its access to both Defog and dual screens, allowing teammates such as Mega Charizard X and Volcarona to setup easier set up more easily. A slow Volt Switch allows it to pivot in its teammates to gain momentum and take advantage of its screens and Defog support and as well as to chip down annoying Water- and Flying-types such as Suicune and Mantine, which can be somewhat troublesome for Fire-type teams. Unfortunately, its lack of reliable recovery leaves it prone to being very easily chipped down very easily throughout the match, hindering its capabilities of fulfilling its supportive role.

Moves
========

Reflect allows gives setup sweepers such as Volcarona and Mega Charizard X better setup opportunities against Pokemon such as Dragonite and Swampert lacking Roar (RC) and allows the team to better check threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill. Light Screen bolsters the team's special bulk, allowing the aforementioned setup sweepers to set up against special attackers such as Latios, Porygon-Z, and Hydreigon. Defog allows it Rotom-H to clear entry hazards from the field and remove opposing screens, allowing the team to more easily switch around and take advantage of its own screens. Rotom-H's slow Volt Switch allows it to pivot into a teammate in order to gain momentum and take advantage of the screens Rotom-H is able to set.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

Rotom-H should switch in on predicted Ground-type attacks for its teammates, but it should be careful of Pokemon with other powerful STAB attacks that could severely weaken it such as Garchomp's Devastating Drake. It should also watch out for Pokemon whose abilities or moves ignore Levitate such as Mold Breaker Excadrill's with Earthquake, Kyurem-B's with Earth Power, and Landorus's with Gravity. Rotom-H should try to switch in when Stealth Rock is being set up to be able to clear away entry hazards without taking the chip damage from Stealth Rock unless it is up against certain Stealth Rock setters such as Tyranitar that threaten Rotom-H it. As soon as all of the checks to Volcarona, Mega Charizard X, and Z-Celebrate Victini have been weakened, Rotom-H should set up screens and pivot into bring them in with Volt Switch so they can easily setup set up and proceed to clean. Due to Fire-types being weak to Stealth Rock, it is extremely important to keep Rotom-H healthy throughout the battle so that it can consistently remove hazards. Do not allow setup sweepers such as Mega Gallade to take advantage of Rotom-H's passive nature by giving them the chance to set up by pivoting into a check such as Choice Scarf Blacephalon. Instead of switching into a wallbreaker directly, use Rotom-H as a slow pivot with Volt Switch once hazards are cleared to keep your wallbreakers, setup sweepers, and cleaners such as Volcarona and Mega Charizard X healthy. Due to Rotom-H's only attacking move being Volt Switch, Taunt users such as Gliscor can easily shut Rotom-H it down and prevent it from clearing hazards or setting up screens. Since Rotom-H is not intrinsically slow, (AC) it should be careful of pivoting in out of wallbreakers or slower threats such as Tyranitar, which can OHKO or heavily damage a majority of the team with Stone Edge. Rotom-H should hard switch into out to another Pokemon rather than Volt Switching when faced with Pokemon that can set up hazards while also threatening it, such as Armaldo.

Team Options
========

Wallbreakers such as Infernape and Blacephalon appreciate Rotom-H's ability to safely pivot bring them in with access to a slow Volt Switch. Rotom-H appreciates Mega Charizard X's ability to take care of annoying Pokemon such as Dragonite and sweep through Water-type teams at +2 with Dragon Claw and Earthquake, while Volcarona can take care of Water-, Rock-, and Ground-types such as Seismitoad, which can not only set up Stealth Rock and Knock Off remove Rotom-H's Light Clay with Knock Off but also prevent Rotom-H from safely bringing out a teammate with Volt Switch.

Other Options
=============

Fire
--------
Rotom-H can use a set of Will-O-Wisp / Defog / Volt Switch / Overheat with Leftovers, allowing Rotom-H it to cripple the other team with Will-O-Wisp and switch into hazards more times; however, the lack of dual screen support gives setup sweepers like Mega Charizard X less opportunities to set up. A Choice Scarf set lures in typical checks such as Landorus-T and Garchomp, which can usually use Rotom-H as setup fodder, to be heavily damaged by and heavily damage them with Hidden Power Ice. However, Pokemon such as Infernape, Blacephalon, and Victini are much better Choice Scarf Pokemon for Fire-type teams, while Rotom-H is better used with a utility set.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------
**Fast Water-types**: Water-type Pokemon such as Choice Specs Keldeo and Kingdra threaten Rotom-H's ability to clear hazards and setup set up screens due to their naturally being faster, higher Speed and are able to OHKO Rotom-H with their Water-type STAB attacks, but though they fail to do so in the sun. Pokemon such as Mega Swampert and Seismitoad are especially annoying, as they not only outspeed Rotom-H and OHKO it with their strong STAB attacks (RC) but also can also continually set up Stealth Rock in front of it without fearing Volt Switch. However, (AC) Mega Swampert should scout for Rotom-H variants with Will-O-Wisp before it tries to set up Stealth Rock in front of it.

**Rock-types**: Offensive Rock-type Pokemon such as Mega Diancie and Terrakion outspeed Rotom-H and threaten to OHKO it with their strong Rock-type STAB attacks.

**Wallbreakers**: Due to Rotom-H's low Speed tier, it is vulnerable to being outsped and OHKO'ed OHKOed before Defogging away hazards or setting up screens by faster wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Keldeo, Devastating Drake Garchomp, and Life Orb Earth Power Kyurem-B.

**Trick**: Choiced Trick users such as Choice Scarf Latios, Gengar, and Victini can cripple Rotom-H by tricking taking away its Light Clay and locking it into using one move.

**Residual Damage**: Toxic, Stealth Rock, and other forms of chip damage limit Rotom H's longevity, limiting its opportunities to switch in, clear hazards from the field, and set up screens. Pokemon such as Hippowdon can set up Stealth Rock, poison Rotom-H with Toxic, and chip it with sand damage, severely restricting Rotom-H's ability to switch in. Due to the fact that Rotom-H relies on Light Clay to extend the turn of its screens, it is not able to carry Leftovers, making residual damage and switching into Stealth Rock harder to deal with.

**Mold Breaker Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Kyurem-B and Excadrill, with access to powerful Ground-type attacks such as Earth Power and Earthquake, ignore Levitate due to their abilities and can OHKO Rotom-H due to the fact their special abilities ignore its Levitate.
