  1. What happened to Warstories?

Warstories were my favourite part of this site. I have been on a hiatus for a while, and when I come back I see that Warstories have been moved into the old and outdated threads section. Why?
  2. Little Cup is cool - A LC Warstory

This was a great warstory, although how you got a LC match to go for for 35 turns is beyond me. I do play LC and I love it, my second favourite tier after Ubers. 8/10
  3. The Hailstone Trinity

The doubles warstories was very interesting. It really showcased all the different options and predictions required for double battles. Luvdisc.
  4. My first competitive team

I think you should test with quagsire for a while, and if not having SR outweighs the benefits of quagsire then keep quagsire. As far as I can see, no-one else on your team effectively run SR.
  5. Gather around the bonfire, and I shall tell you a tale

Awesome, awesome warstory. I can't believe no-one noticed/commented on your excellent My Chemical Romance interweaving. 10/10 and a disc
  6. Team Tyranitar

I would recommend pursuit over aqua tail on T-Tar. Pursuit does massive damage with the choice band, and it allows you to trap many important threats. Plus you don't lose much coverage. At all. Also, power whip is usually a better choice on ferrothorn. Replacing gyro ball with power whip...
  7. KOTR Special #1

In the threat list you claim to have trouble against thundurus. A simple fix to this would be changing rotom-w to a scarf. He can outspeed and OHKO thundurus with hydro pump no problem at all. The EV spread can remain the same with a set of hydro pump/ Thunderbolt/ Trick/ will-o-wisp or pain...
  8. My first competitive team

If you feel unaware is essential, quagsire can usually pull this off better. Max hp, Max def with EQ / Boiling Water / Yawn / filler (curse or stockpile?) would be effective. EQ and boiling water do respectable damage after a +2 boost, and provide an extremely annoying back-up sweeper. Yawn...
  9. Switches, Double Switches, and Volt Switches

The formatting was truly fantastic. Keeping track of the significant predictions as well as the updates every ten turns made it exceedingly easy to follow. 10/10 for formatting 9.5/10 for the overall battle
  10. Courage, Wisdom and Power (Standard OU)

Sorry, i forgot to nickname them. Virizion=courage Tyranitar=power Jirachi=wisdom @Ada -I agree with waterwarrior about Dnite, though thx anyway -As for gliscor, i'll keep the spread, but ice fang is a good idea, thx -I'll definitely try rotom out @waterwarrior -as both you and Ada suggested...
  11. Courage, Wisdom and Power (Standard OU)

At a glance Hi everyone, long-time lurker, short term member. This the team that I am currently running. It is my most successful team (I'm currently at exactly 1300 on PO, as smogon was/is down), however I know that it can much be improved. This team focus is on trying to screw up the...
  12. First Warstory (Insert Pun Here)

Comments and formatting were good, although the battle was only average. Still, excellent job! 7.5/10
  13. A Day at the Beach (Sun vs Sand UU Warstory)

Great warstory. UU was refreshing, and even though I know almost zero about UU, I understood all of your moves perfectly, even the misplays. A 9/10 from me.
  14. Rain RMT, please rate people

A specially defensive SD scizor would be, IMO, a good choice over metagross. It still reliably checks lati@s, but has priority, a set up move, roost and priority. Plus it cuts down on your choiced pokemon. I'd recomend Scizor@life orb/leftovers 252hp, 36atk, 216spD Adamant nature Swords...
  15. Project Aces

ScarfChomp looks to be a problem, as it can hit 2/3 of your team for super-effective damage, and only gallade can somewhat reliably check it (and even then...). To deal with this, I would recommend scarf Lati@s over haxorus. It allows you to deal with chomp, and many others, a lot better...
