Tournament Rules:
- General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
- The banlist for this tournament is the same as the US/UM 1v1 ladder on the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found here.
- Best of five, double elimination.
- If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
- Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
- Replays are not required but I encourage posting them for the development of the metagame.
- Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.

Round 1 Predicts:
dom vs WilliamTheo13- no bias here but dom has a history of losing in the first round due to questionable moves and choices. On the other hand, you have an inexperienced tour player William. Im swaying more towards dom based off experience but i could see this going either way. (55/45)
WailJesus vs Maki's Fox- WailJesus, from my experience, is a great ladderer and tour player. I see him winning this pretty easily although, I dont know much about Maki's Fox. (65/35)
Jamez155 vs WhalemanCheng- another battle I could see swaying either way. James used the technique of cteaming to get where he is while WhalemanCheng laddered normally and has more tour experience so, I give him the edge. Cteaming can't get you everywhere James. (60/40)
justrav vs AltCauseImInsecure- Rav is a great battler and builder, don't get me wrong but I feel like he will crumble under the fact he is in a tournament. ACII, also a great battler and builder, I feel has the edge as he can build various different builds rather than Serp on every team lol. This game will be close though, a hidden gem amongst great battles. (45/55)
Synonimous vs aaee- aaee has more experience as a 1v1 player but Synon is an up and coming 1v1 player. Honestly can see this going either way depending on the day. (45/55)
Close vs Squirtell 1v1- I'm giving this one to close based off of his experience in tournaments and overall being a better player than Squirtell. Sorry man :/. (65/35)
Kaif vs ryyjyywyy- Im picking Kaif as he recently has been doing quite great in tournaments, beating Freddy Kyogre earlier today. Ryy, however, tends to bring questionable pokemon and sets that usually cause him to lose. (60/40)
